OK, I clicked on your link, although one should not do that if it is from an unknown or dubious source. And yes, you can get viruses and malware if you go onto those kind of sites. But surely your Antivirus should pick it up if one is detected. Well mine does! 555

    Quite right. I probably spend more time tweaking the PCs than actually doing work on them these days. But a good session with Cakewalk and my guitar occurs quite frequently.

    I installed Speccy, and it gave me different Activation numbers to that what I have used. Can you not see temperatures somewhere in your Windows settings?

    Why do drivers need updating. If a PC was running fine last year with drivers current then, what would make it stop working properly this year, please?

    After fruitless visits to both Kasikorn and Bangkok Banks, I finally got an email from K'korn telling me that FETs are no longer available, and that I should go to my local branch, armed with my Passport and Bank Book and ask for a Credit Advice. I do not have an account with K'korn so that's another hurdle to jump. I have printed this email out and translated it into Thai, so let's hope it gets me somewhere.

    I think you are confusing the 5 volts going through the dongle in order to power the phone, and audio power, which will vary, as you said, with the impedance of the connected device, phones needing to be driven whereas a line output supplies a small signal which is then amplified by ....the amplifier.

    Usually the private or chain shops will not give you the prescription as they want to sell you frames as well. The hospital test is probably better and that's all you get, so you can buy your frames and lenses anywhere. I have had several pairs from Zenni and all been top notch.
