  1. Yes. I think that the Bible IS taught in very simple terms to young people, starting obviously with Christmas (presents) & Easter (chocolate), and then progressing to the Immaculate Conception, the Circumcision of Jesus, and then the Resurrection. Eventually the Creation and the entire history of the Israelite nation will poke it's nose in there. By the way, what is MATH an abbreviation of please?
  2. How would one know what is appropriate to their mental facilities until they have actually read it? I personally much prefer the story of King Arthur to that of the Bible, and their accompanying musicals Spamalot & J C Superstar. 555
  3. In my understanding, with a DEBIT card you are spending your own money. With a CREDIT card you are spending THEIR money and then paying it back with interest (usually). What a CREDIT card with a bank account to cover it should be called is anyone's guess.
  4. Do you actually mean they send papers, which are made from trees, via road and aircraft, which take loads of fossil fuel to pollute the air, to you Do Halifax not have a peperless option, Nationwide do.
  5. Immigration involved in a murder enquiry? Where were the 'normal' cops? Will they give him an extension of stay in the Monkey House?
  6. I initiated a Wise transfer at 4am on Monday morning last week, 1st May (Bank Holiday????) As I ticked 'For Long Term Stay' I expected it, as usual, to arrive the next day, Tuesday at 2pm. But no, it was in my Bank in 9 seconds BUT it went via Kasikorn Bank and so arrived as a transfer from a local bank and not an FTT. Tried to talk to both banks about getting an FET, or Thor Tor 3, but a brick wall is there. Hope the IO will see through it and still give extension in December, I have Wise papers showing the transfer.
  7. So will you wear blinkers and ear-plugs while said video is playing for your passengers, mostly sitting behind you? It would obviously be safer for each passenger to watch their own individual movie on their own device. I know where you are coming from, and realise that for a driver to look at his central console to check the tyre pressures, or look at a Sat Nav map is probably more distracting than a movie anyway.
  8. Watching videos on the car stereo sounds about as safe as texting while driving your motorcycle one handed. I think possibly, and hopefully, that the ability to show movies is disabled when the car is in gear and moving.
  9. Somebody explain this please. Of course it will generate extra revenue for SOMEONE, but giving Thai people Bht 1000 less to spend abroad seems rather silly, especially when they want us falangs to spend as much as possible in Thailand. What's it got to do with Trade Deficit?
  10. Is that whether you need one or not? 555
  11. Power supplies of varying quality, and hence safety, are available on Lazada and many other places. All he needs to know is the voltage, current drawn by the drive, the physical size of both the external and internal elements and the polarity. I was merely trying to help. Some repliers seem to interpret the OP's post as that he can find the original power supply. I did not, and he actualyl admits it in a later post. If you find my calling a 13 year old HDD a dinosaur disturbing, then YOU come back to the forum when you are feeling less antagonized
  12. What's the difference in the action of an Antiperspirant and a Deodorant please?
  13. Can the words homour and Australian be used in the same sentence? 555 Oh yes, and I remember when I was a Knight's Templar in Jerusalem.....................
  14. A few years back they were 24 hours, then 48 and now 72 hour protection. Does that mean that it will not wash off and still be active for say 6 showers, or that I do not need to shower for 72 hours? 555
  15. Did you think before mis-quoting the post In reality, all 15 nations have looked mainly to Washington, rather than London, for support for decades now.
  16. Yes, you are right. Totally agree.
  17. It's still going you know. But Buggernation Street on You Tube is much funnier.
  18. You mean the British taxpayer should pay for these people who do not have adequate insurance for the things they do.
  19. Since when please? I always bought a car that was Taxed & MOTed.
  20. Agree. Just for a 'test' I asked who the original drummer of the Beach Boys was. It came up with David Marks. Then a bit later changed it to Denis Wilson (correct).
  21. Well that was quite spectacular.....and expensive. But glad it all went without any serious disruptions. Even my Mrs was impressed. Bet that Penny Mordant got pi55ed off standing there holding a sword without moving for about two hours. 4 TONS of horse manure had to be cleaned up afterwards. What was Elvis Costello's song? A Good Day for the Roses. I actually videoed myself pledging allegiance to Charlie Boy so that if and when I ever need to return to UK for NHS treatment, I can show I am a true Englishman. 555
  22. And after you have had the Snip?????
  23. It can be haemorrhoids, but there are piles of different ways to spell many English words.
  24. About as funny as a dose of haemmeroids! 555
