  1. Weren't you saying, daily, repeatedly that Trump is a dictator?
  2. So the market only surged after a tweet made to the public.
  3. It's going into the weekend now and earnings are starting. I would see how the guidance goes.
  4. I have been buying Amazon, Crowdstrike, and semis. i like Lam research and Applied Materials. I wouldn't buy right now until the tax bill is voted on. I like cyber security as a way to play stocks that won't get hit by tariffs. Companies also can't just ditch their cyber security to save money. Ask AN how it would go without cloudflare. I like Palantir right here. I have taken some initial positions in Fortinet and Zscaler as well. I do know the tickers but find it pretentious when people list a bunch of weird tickers. Lol I sold Google as I am finding i use ChatGPT more than a search these days. I sold Nasdaq the company not the index funds as I think they won't get as many listings coming up soon.
  5. See if the tax bill has the votes. That's the next catalyst for a big surge if it passes. I wouldn't buy until that happens. If not I would let it tank a few days. For the novices out there a good way of doing this is if it fails to pass let the market go down and retest and buy on the third time. If it passes buy as soon as it does and sell it when you have a tidy little profit. Classic dip buying and rally selling right now
  6. Well he has the market on a string now. Put aside your hatred for a moment and imagine you are the one man that dictates all of the trade deals and tariffs. Your word alone drives the market at any given time. Next time he talks tough it goes down. He did this last time.
  7. You had to either have bought before that or pretty quickly after. The market surged very fast. Smart people and algos act quickly. The smart money sold already and that's why it is down before the open.
  8. No, it was all over the business news that Trumps said it was a good time to buy. Before he announced the pauseThat is a fact. I hate using links as they dont work but here it is proving what I said. NBC lost their sh!t over it. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/markets/trump-tariff-pause-experts-question-timing-trump-social-media-posts-rcna200526
  9. Trump announced openly that it was a great time to buy so it was public information. Many novices probably missed out because they didn't notice.
  10. You buy the dips and sell the rallies in these conditions. This formula worked beautifully during the tweets last time. It is working for me now. I bought on Monday and sold yesterday before close. I also said I would buy on Monday before this all happened.
  11. A factory with robots and sharks with frickin lasers.
  12. I do understand that. At that point I will buy American if possible. Now I can buy a set of silverware from China for let's say $89 and the American made one is around $200. With tariffs many things become very close. Anyway it will all be made by robots in ten years or so. It's funny you say it is USA companies doing this. Like the USA is alone. The reality is if the USA tries to remain a consumer based economy we will be bankrupt soon anyway.
  13. My point was limited to mocking an obese man in a factory. The point is he can do it. Now the fact you seem to think little kids working for $100 a month is admirable or desirable that's another story. Nothing libs love more than their beloved little brown skinned cousins toiling for pennies. In that sense tariffs actually take away some of the advantage of under aged slave labor. Maybe you are on to something. 1,000% tariffs for countries that don't meet labor requirements.
  14. The name and the avatar say it all. It's the future of the dem party lol
  15. Again think of the other side for once. How do you think Canada fares under all of that?
  16. If it really came to it yeah people would use old methods to p[low the fields. There wouldn't be a choice now would there? We have a huge stock of agricultural equipment that will last for years. It would be like Cuba having loads of old cars. Maybe implement a social program like mandatory euthanasia at age 60. Now you have given observations about how it would be in the USA, can you explain what would happen in Canada?
  17. Is that any worse than some 9 year old Cambodian girl putting together soccer balls in a sweat shop?
  18. Okay but if it came down to it, the USA exports a ton of food. If we didn't do that we still feed ourselves. It could be a green organic renaissance.lol That's a lefties wet dream.
  19. Should we ever have to is different than what you suggested that we are actively plannning to go to war.My point is we can not go with the status quo forever. We should have taken corrective measures decades ago, the second best time to do that is today. Unless you are saying the USA can sit there and rely on China in the future to be our sole source of medicine for example.
  20. I never said we were about to go to war. If we were going to actually go to war tomorrow all the rubles are thrown out.
  21. LOL Yeah North Korea can make up the short fall. Listen to yourself.
  22. The USA in the long run has its own resources and ability to produce food. If things go really badly America will suffer and China will implode. The other thing is we can't leave it how it is. It's a matter of national security should we ever have to go to war with China. We needed to do something decades ago. Doesn't look like Trump is backing down so I guess we are going to find out. An economic reset might actually be a good thing for young Americans who can't afford a house or anything else. A lot of boomer money is about to go up in smoke.
  23. I didn't mean it to be taken literally. America sells way less to China than China sells to the USA. That means to a degree America decides how much its people suffer from tariffs and has the upper hand.
