Okay so the jobs numbers are coming out in the morning. If inflation has cooled because people don't have jobs or money that will be bad. I am not saying that will be the case but the algos sold off tonight.

All i can say is it was a weird movement.

I was thinking something with Iran. I am a market watcher and notice the small things. A pull back right before 8 pm is unusual at the very last minute. Who knows?

The futures just took a sharp dive and I don't see any news. Something is going on out there.

Try putting a man jnto space or have a network of low orbit satellites that provides internet to allies like Ukraine. Ukraine has no internet without starlink. Try getting an astronaut back out of space using Boeing products. Try advancing an EV future, try to understand AI. Try to implant chips into a human brain that help quadriplegics live a better life. Try to hide cars under city streets to make pedestrian zones in places like Miami. Elon literally makes a chip that allows a parakyzed person to move a chess piece or control an Ipad with nothing more than over the air signals from the persons brain. If that's not enough Elon holds the most records in the world for the first thing done in space as a private citizen and the first things done whether it was government or not. The people's that hate on musk do so because he is one of the few more powerful than they are. Even in the USA it is true. The USA government couldn't run with out him.

i would say 100 posts. Many forums use this formula quite successfully. Even this site uses it for the lounge for whatever reason as that place is pretty boring. Most forums and social media sites use it in more controversial corners. It orevents trolls, sock puppets and bots.

Basic question. There are trolls that come and post only here that obviously make accounts just to stir the pot. The lounge has a minimum post requirement why not here?

It's simply a terrible idea. People that get tips are not even close to the lowest earners out there. I think a policy that exempts b anybody making less than $15 an hour from federal taxes would be better. No more hiking the minimum wage just let low level earners keep their money. The numbers coming out tomorrow and particularly Wednesday morning will be interesting. Any signs of inflation running hot will send the market tumbling.

Trump was pandering for votes. Now Kamala is. Neither can achieve this and it is empty promises. She could have been more sublte and not say it in Vegas where Trump introduced the idea.

I am beginning to think it won't be smooth if he does win either. What a mess. I could live with Kamala in the WH and the GOP holding the house and senate. God forbid either party gets all three. Are the rules the same as the first debate? If so it doesn't matters who hosts it

i didn't really mean killing cats for fun is a goody thing. I think cats should be systematically culled because of the environmental damage they do. They kill billions of birds a year, amongst other things. Dead cats are not on the top of my list of concerns in this world.
