Covid extension for STV?
sallecc replied to sallecc's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It was for my gf, they gave her 1st stamp as usual (to return on 28.10. for actual extension stamp). It should be 60 days after her STV extension expiry, not from application date... They didn't mention further extension, I think they will do it as long as government decides to continue Covid extensions every 2 months. -

That should be alright now when they extended it for another year. Good luck -

Big agent mentioned some "changes in Immigration mid-October", sounds like staff reshuffling, they say after that they will know more about visa conversions and $$$.... ???? -
Covid extension for STV?

Phuket. First we inquired in the room where they handle STV / long term visas, they said "yes of course you can get Covid extension for STV, just go upstairs"... On 2nd floor it was standard Covid extension procedure (I do it for my parents all the time), 3 forms, 1 photo, all signed passport copies + TM30, done in 1 hour, back 3 weeks later for "2nd stamp" (before it was 1 week later, now it's 3). -
Covid extension for STV?

Hi guys I just want to let you know that my gf successfully applied for Covid extension on top of her STV visa, so this mystery has been resolved now :-) Standard Covid extension procedure, same as for any other visa. -
I didn't see "Go" flights on that link, maybe earlier it had different info... FR24 is actually good to check later on, it will show actual times of flights landed & departed, and those which didn't fly will have no time info and their status will stay as "unknown" or "scheduled" (like those "Go" flights from India, Firefly / Penang or AirAsia / HKG, and others which didn't fly for many months but airports still keep them listed)

Can't see them on this link... I see them listed on FlightRadar24 almost every day, 3 "Go" flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, but they don't actually operate, for some reason they are still listed, it was like this since I started following HKT on FR24 since July. Singapore, Emirates and ElAl were most consistent... Hopefully Cathay will be more stable now with afternoon HKG flights picking up more connecting pax.

Thanks for the stats pagallim... Weekend always busy for sandbox flights... Which airline is flying from India? I didn't see it on Flightradar yesterday and today... Interesting to see private jet Gulfstream fly in all the way from Paris yesterday... Good news for future Sandboxers from Taiwan, Korea, Japan & China: Cathay Pacific moved their Hong Kong - Phuket flight from Tue. 8am to Sun. 4pm, more convenient time for local transfers.

Covid extension for STV?

Thanks Jack... is this confirmed? Ondifferent threads I saw opposing answers, but so far haven't heard from somebody who have done it actually. -
Hi, just checking did anyone here on STV visa managed to get Covid extension? My gf's 2nd (and last) STV extension will expire next month, so just want to check if anybody managed to get it, thanks!

Wow that's a bummer for my gf's STV then... In another thread they were sure that STV could be topped with Covid extensions... We will go to immigration next week to ask directly... Her 2nd (last) STV extension expires Nov., she hoped to get 1 Covid extension to stay over Christmas and New Year, if not then she will just leave.

If you don't mind telling us which insurance you bought and what exactly is it covering regarding Covid? Thanks... I'm looking to buy one, especially after reading this thread, the one which covers asymptomatic positive case, and any hospital / field hospital / hospitEl stay, and all medical charges due to Covid...

Phuket Vaccination Sign-up Site Now Open For All Foreigners
sallecc replied to Pattaya Spotter's topic in Phuket
Does everyone need that international certificate / passport to fly out of Thailand? My parents will fly Emirates to Serbia (which doesn't require vaxx.cert or PCR on arrival for citizens), and called Emirates they said also no need vaxx.cert or PCR on Phuket check-in and Dubai transfer... hope this is correct . . . -

In other news, 3rd booster shot for those who got 2x Sinovac will start from Sep/24... Not sure if this will be available for us in Phuket as well, or which app or website to apply, any ideas? -
We are surprised that you didn't call it "litter box" as usual...

Why oh why... Maybe he just miss the place and haven't been here a long time ... Maybe he wants to enjoy Phuket without mass tourism, traffic jams and hordes of Chinese everywhere... I've seen those FB Sandbox groups he mentioned, many of them are genuinely happy just to chill on the beach and just missed the place. There's 8 billion people on this planet, so many different preferences and choices... I lived in KL & SG and also visited them often, now it's almost 2 years and I can't wait for them to reopen, even just to stroll down a bit and eat favorite snacks... My sister can't wait for her autumn break to run away from cold Europe to Thailand.
