  1. Why not add 200Baht to the meter amount for all taxi trips to an airport? And add 100Baht departure fee on all spending transactions (duty free, meals, snacks, water, sandwiches etc.) at airports. On the other hand how about getting some well qualified clever ethical economics people into the positions which decide how to raise revenues. No common sense
  2. Would be interesting to see a complete break down of how the 1,000Bht departure fee will be spent. (That's if there is any such break down.)
  3. Blind obsessions or common sense analysis?
  4. Good point. On the other hand it was reported many times that many folks were frightened of the paymaster.
  5. So now you rot out 'the junta lovers'. There's many many folks who strongly oppose the current PM and all his and his military crony actions. And also don't like the paymster or pehaps that's too difficult to grasp? Different subject but perhaps you can't see the chaff from the straw? "Do you also believe all of the Thai nationals that have fled the country over the past 20 years, seeking asylum in various other countries, are criminals? So quote some details, names, numbers! The Thaksin obsession by junta lovers is bewildering, a great many of you have lost touch with reality. Fancy supporting the overthrow of democracy, how disgraceful. If you're suggesting that the paymater was elected in clean elections, what's your next joke?
  6. So do you have a Thai Social Security Fund Injrry and Sickness card? Are you registered t a specific government hospital? Do you ever use the card?
  7. " "It seems he still thinks he is above the law." Maybe so, he probably does, but where does that leave the unelected caretaker PM? He doesn't think he is above the law, he knows it, ask yourself why he was in power for the last nine years, this is a guy with only a Military Academy education and no more brains than the average Somchai in the streets." Easy answer, the current guy has guns behind him and the glory of the military. Sad, wrong but unfortunately true.
  8. "List them". Wow. All the charges have been reported on numerous news / information sites numerous times over many years. Google is your friend.
  9. And plenty of farang from first instance display lots of cash, make it appear they have money cars, big bikes, gold chains, 85 inch TVs etc. These guys build and maintian the scenrio of 'all farng have unlimited money/resources. Have it in my own Thai family, especially one guy (old loudmouth ladyboy who knows everything, even claims to have a law degree in Australia (he's never been outside of Thailand, claims the Oz ambassador gve him a law degree). Some years back he went to the nearest BMW show room and ordered (with no discusion at all with me or my son) and ordered five BMW cars for family members. Dealership called my son aiming to request a big deposit for all the cars. Son quick smart made the point that I had not orderd any cars and had signed no documents and if they wanted payments to go direct to the ladyboy. Dealership owner quickly realized best to cancel the order.
  10. They dont have these funds. The money will come from incoming taxation.
  11. Strange, it's been reported before that the Thai gov't never appraoched interpol because the offences were outside of offences handled by Interpol.
  12. "I think I speak for most people, no matter Thai or expats,..." I don't agree, I don't want to see the pymster of the general as the next PM. Both are unacceptble to any country as a PM.
  13. Is "...social medical payment. ..." the same as Thai Social Seciruty Fund."
  14. Google is your friend, he broke many serious laws and set up unethical loans etc., to neighbring countries. He was eventually charged under th laws of Thailand and these cases progressed through the Thai courts and on sveral charges he was found guilty. Why would interpol be involved?
  15. Get it in the right perspective. The paymaster was/is hightly corrupt, as is his family (along with his numerous scaly cronies), that's well estblished. The current guy is no better. That doesn't mean the paymster should be magically reinstated!
  16. I guess you mean the Thai Social Security Fund? If that's corrrect, a farang buddy pays his monthly member contributions on his Krung Thai cyber banking screen, all in English. To generate the monthly payment he clicks on one of his favorites (favorite / regular payments) all showing in English. But after he completed the transaction in English on his KT Cyber banking screen maybe the transaction sends the data to the Social Security Fund bank in pasa Thai. Is that the picture?
  17. I guess you mean for each and every crime he committed, was charged for, found guilty and sentenced, here's several.
  18. Actions by the junta is not the only thing stopping his return. He broke serious laws, was convicted and sentenced, that's why he fled.
  19. "Let me go home and raise my grandchildren,” So does he expect that on arrival in the LOS he would be a free man to go anywhere with no restrictions whatever, do whatever he wishes, comment with no restrictions. Does he have any respect for the law and for past judicial processes and findings. He's a convicted fellon, found guilty without any doubt and sentenced to punishment including jail. And there more findings and charges. So seems that he believes he's not subject to the laws and judicial findings of Thailand. This is just what Thailand doesn't need!!! Well proven he's and his cronies are very corrupt. Does anybody seriously believe he's totally/permenantly reformed? I don't!
  20. Only had the new passport with me, they didn't ask to see my old passport. They did have a scan of my old passport on their screen. This is K Bank. You mentioned "I only have one account on the pink ID, for my Thai social medicine account." I don't understand what you mean, can you please explain further.
