  1. I sincerely hope Khun Peta has done his homeweork thoroughly in regard to the family/his media shares and he has serious specific evidence that the judiciary has incicated this is not an issue.
  2. He's totally repetitive, so boring, I blocked him.
  3. So your earlier claims that you had no information about the paymaters crimes were less than honest. And you're not mentioning that many 'observers' were not convinced. Bye.
  4. Off topic or perhaps just a deliberate diversion.
  5. And you conveniently miss 2 items which have been explained many times before: 1. It wasn' ;aw, it was common practice. This has been confirmed many imes before by respected legal scholars. 2. The main law involved was that the paymaster signed to authorities the sale on behalf of Thailand which he was prohibited from doing because of his position. The law is there (same as in most countries) to prevent/stop prime ministers, ministers, snr beaurocrats etc., from selling state assets (the common wealth of the citizens of Thailand) to family. A good and very appropriate law.
  6. Yawn and double yawn. No further comment.
  7. The charges and the evidence have been listed many times before. Nobody here on AseanNow is going to take hours to fin each charge and each item of evidence again. It was all shown before and the evidence. Google is your friend. Plus, the current mob are certainly guilty of numerous offences and unethical stuations. Don't forget as is customary they got by illegal/unethcal means into power and 5 minutes later passed unethical/imorral laws to stop anybody charging them. Yes many should be in Jail. But what's the chances of these acts of parliamnet being reversed? There's also the question; does Thailand need to move forward in terms of politics/elections/new younger more capable folks running the country who have intelligence and good future based development policies with value for all Thais?
  8. I believe the comment was 'unsavoury'.
  9. ... and wealth. Where did his wealth come from? Convinving naive folks to buy cosmetics which make outragious claims but the products have never been tested or registered.
  10. Example; on the very busy ground floor of a big shopping complex near me. Various 'blends' and numerous bongs etc., on display, 1 girl & 1 boy trying to strongly waylaw customers as they walk through that area.
  11. Speaking of dictators, do you mean dictators who had to flee?
  12. Suggest you get your facts straight.
  13. And, hopefully not, it will remain as is, 'students should not ask questions it's not polite to the teacher'. Or worse punishment for trying to ask questions. Happned to my Thai son, went to a school where strongly encouraged to ask questions. Had to return to a typical gov't school, asked a question and was severly punished, failed for 2 semesters. Ultimtely the above all relates to the fact that many teachers are not capable / don't have the knowledge to answer questions. i.e. they know the correct (mosty correct) answers but they don't know why it's the correct answer. And it goes back even further, most of the current teachers weren't allowed to ask questions when they were kids and the scenario continues. Further, 99% of the current teachers have had no training in student centered teaching/learning and they therefore refuse to adopt the new methods, because they don't know 'how to do it'!
  14. I don't xpect Thailand / Thai citizens to pay the health / hospital bills of foreigners. I wouldn't object ifs they came up with a properly calculated / dvertised 'visitors health levy', paid by all non-Thai folks in their air ticket cost. And the 'visitor' can us their notated boarding pass which acts as a receipt for the payment and acts as a 'Visitor Health Card' membership with dates. Surely not difficult. My guess (repeat my guess) is that the cost would be minimal, say 500Baht per person and I would hope nobody would have any objection.
  15. I use a wheelchair. I got automatic upgrade to AirAsia Red seat when I flew CM direct to Kuala Lumphur. (This service no longer operates.) Excellent service to get me onto the aircraft and make me comfortable. Same at KL to get me to their Bus. lounge then back onto the aircraft to fly to Sydney.
  16. TG did have bus. class Bkk to CM & return years back, also to other domestic destinations. TG announced they were cancelling Bus. class on all domestic routes, many politicians protested strongly because it was disrespectful to them to not have bus. class seats/food etc. Much public outcry, Bus. class cancelled.
  17. Many of the countries with national medical care give tourists etc., some level of automatic cover. e.g. australia, visitors on many visas automatically have Australian Medicare cover. We seem to regularly see 'come to lovely Thailand and we'll take care of you and we'll rip you off as much as possible.
  18. My Thai wife (dr. of medicine) passed away quite young from second hand smoke, as did all her siblings and mother. Many years later her father (the only smoker) also died from lung cancer. He was a chain smoker. Wife & kids had to have the next cigarette already lit for him. He smoked all over the whole family every meal time, in the car, everywhere. Even woke up to have 1 or 2 cigarettes every night. Many thanks and RIP to Joe and condolences to his family.
  19. And no doubt several clever generals on hnd to concoct reasons to sue/jail anybody.
  20. And in the US candidtaes tell massive lies, obvious to all, plus candidates with small funds no chance of getting ny publicity, on the other hand big business gives enormous amounts of funds to scaly unethical politicians to pay for expensive and often way less than honest TV spots. 'Democracy' at work.
