Liz Truss’s premiership has got off to the worst start possible
Bday Prang replied to Scott's topic in World News
plenty actually , but I don't see what that's got to do with anything -
Cha am is an awful place, I feel sorry for anybody who has to spend a week there I don't know what the beach is supposed to be famous for , but it won't be crystal clear water that's for sure. I don't think there is any night life worth making the journey for either ! Don't think theres anything in petchaburi to write home about either, never been and probably never will, . Best option if you are unfortunate to be in that area is probably to head to hua hin but then again I haven't been there for about 5 years and i heard it's changed for the worse, I believe soi bintabaht has gone forever, Its days were numbered anyway like most victims of covid According to Ms. Eblarp, the purpose of this meeting was to promote Phetchaburi province as a sustainable tourist destination. What exactly does that actually mean ? or this " to discuss ways on how they can work together to promote creative and sustainable tourism" or this" Tourism officials are eyeing collaboration as a means to help promote creative and sustainable tourism in Phetchaburi and Hua Hin Its like a language from another world

you are probably right, but where do they hide now whilst doing nothing are they all in the station scouring social media for hate crimes (otherwise known as playing on their phones) or parked up asleep in their police cars? -

I personally know people who have enjoyed free food from some of those foodbanks. As regards the reselling, I have highlighted what is a very strong possibility, to believe otherwise is extremely naive, -

Exactly anyone can take their free food wide open to abuse , some of it probably ends up on the shelves of certain corner shops too but who cares if it produces statistics that falsely indicate poverty -

I bet the rise in food bank usage mirrors the increase in immigrants arriving by whatever means no government should have allowed that to happen . However your little chart shows that there has been a drop of nearly 400,000 or around 16% over the last 2 recorded periods, so something seems to be working. Anyway there are plenty of people availing themselves of free food when its available whether they need it or not and many of them were not born in the UK -

Is that Liz Trusses fault too ? Strangely when looking back in time I don't recall any periods under a labour government when there were no poor people, and neither can you or anybody else , -

Dead right , its a broken system , and as long as being an MP is such a lucrative position it will always by default attract the wrong sort of people. who are backed by the wrong sorts of people. Every now and again when a bright spark does appear who may have potential they invariably don't last long as when they they rattle a few cages along the way and threaten the status quo they are got rid of pretty quickly on the pretext of saying the wrong thing or some other technicality there's many ways to achieve that these days with all the "offence" waiting to be taken out there, on behalf of others Who do these creeps actually represent ? The unions and big business ? both of those need to be taken out of the equation for starters We need to separate politics from government if its at all possible and keep politicians well away from running the country I've No Idea what the way forward is. We could start by forcing the players in the current system to be legally obliged to achieve a certain % of all the things they claim they will do in their manifesto or be forbidden from standing for election again. If we are to be stuck with two parties the there should be a limit on how many successive terms they can serve Its clear that these people are not fit to police themselves either and that needs to be addressed too The same goes for them voting for their own pay rises, as they are All rotten to the core -

Ok things are pretty bad at the moment if one is to believe all one hears from the media What amazes me is that anybody thinks things would be any better at all under a labour government or any other for that matter They are all exactly the same , all of them are nothing more than self-serving incompetents, They are all pi$$ing in the same pot so to speak. When the doors are closed and the cameras are off at westminster the posturing and arguments stop, and they All give themselves a pat on the back and give thanks to the lord that they have such a stupid electorate. An electorate so stupid and naive that they actually believe, that these politicians are here for our benefit. An electorate so stupid that most of them have taken a stance on which side they support as if it was a football match faithfully believing everything their chosen party promises and dismissing everything said by the others. whilst hurling insults at each other An electorate so stupid that they spend more time arguing amongst themselves on internet forums and chat shows hurling abuse and insults at each other How they all must laugh every month when their generous salaries are paid into their bank accounts -
I think you are correct, Its been nearly 4 months since they liberalised it , And despite all the horror predictions from the "concerned" and the best efforts of the gutter press its really been spectacularly unspectacular! and to be honest no other substance or situation has ever been under such critical scrutiny by the media, yet they have had nothing of any substance to report whatsoever There is an old saying in english " if it's not broke then don't try to fix it" the authorities would do well to apply that logic.

I'm not one for going shirtless personally, due to sunburn and or insect bites etc. , but I have no problems with anybody who wants to ! I am not a nudist but I don't see anything shameless or shameful about the human body. For me it seems a bit strange that certain people. both Thai and foreigners equate this with a "lack of respect" or being "low class" You can dress scum in a suit, but they will still be scum, and just because they are wearing a suit does not mean they respect anything or anybody, True enough they do say "clothes maketh the man" but they also say "don't judge a book by the cover"
