Don't try and deny it now , its obvious that you believe it In a previous reply to me you actually said .... "There is the result of a survey there, you only have whatever is coming from your mouth." Even what you have written above indicates that you have some sort of belief in it "it tells us little apart from..." It tells us absolutely nothing at all about attitudes to alcohol, It does however demonstrate quite clearly how some organizations think the general population are more inclined to believe their <deleted> when its dressed up as the results of a survey, You have proved, disturbingly , that they are at least in part correct I didn't think after the whole Covid debacle that there was anybody left who believed anything these kind of organizations or governments tell us

Probably not that easy , might be a bit more involved , approaching the company direct and asking for a fraudulent receipt for 5 times what they will actually be spending might be awkward. it is probably necessary to employ a few middlemen and spread the paper trail far and wide to hide where the money actually ends up I think there was an incident a few years ago where somebody at Thai Airways nearly got caught doing something similar with Rolls-Royce engines a few years ago. They must have learnt from their mistakes, and have modified their procedures I wouldn't worry too much about their methods, they are experts at this, they do it for a living and have been at it for generations

Why oh Why oh why do people post incorrect information like this ?

Just like you, I don't know how much money he has or had in the bank, or whether he was unemployed or not, So in the absence of any reliable or credible info It is not my place or yours to judge him, The fact that you are so quick to label him as selfish leads me to think you are indulging in a little virtue signalling

Its all a bit tongue in cheek really isn't it ? Its so easy for them to say you were driving erratically, and there would be no chance of appealing a conviction based on one alleging that there was no real reason to have been stopped and breathalysed in the first place, Once you have "blown red" its pretty much game over

since when does a man ask a woman about driving for gods sake

"Lane" number 1 is not a lane at all, but a hard shoulder that should be used in case of emergency or breakdown. However, it is commonly used and referred to as a motorcycle lane and this practice is unlikely to change. IIRC the law states that motorcycles should occupy the leftmost lane (your lane 2) and keep to the left side of that lane, unless overtaking. Not quite sure what you are trying to prove by quoting that , it is not exactly an authoritative quote, merely another posters answer to a question However you should take note of the middle (2nd) sentence "However, it is commonly used and referred to as a motorcycle lane and this practice is unlikely to change." and the concluding sentence "Often, the rules of the road are in conflict with the practical use of the road." If everybody else uses it as a motorcycle lane . then accidents are bound to happen if / when somebody like you with "righteousness" on his side, stubbornly decides to take matters into his own hands and maybe park up for a nap ....In the middle of what is rightly or wrongly being used as a motorcycle lane You are wrong......give up for gods sake at least stop driving for all our sakes

You are lucky really , used to be like that where I live but now there are 6 7/11's (at the last count), A big tesco , A big C, A little c, and now a little tesco , however I have long since developed a "taste" for Chang. Although If I fancy a change I'm not far from the border and there is a much better selection of beer and indeed all things western in Cambodia

Look , regardless of what you have found on google or read in lonely planet,or even researched in the Thai law books. If 100% of the indigenous population believe and act as if the far left hand lane or hard shoulder as you put it ,is a motorcycle lane, then it becomes in effect , a motorcycle lane. You would be foolish to treat it as anything else. try it and see what happens By the way where I live it is used as a buffalo lane in the mornings and evenings, does google mention that too ?
