  3. Indeed , many will follow. So, as a consequence , anybody thinking of applying for a job at Mcdonalds would be well advised to get their applications in quickly to beat the rush
  4. Probably for the same reason you send your luggage by courier when you could simple have it carried in the hold of the aircraft you are travelling on for pretty much the same price. But I have no Idea what that reason is. Perhaps you need some help
  5. An MSc in software engineering from Oxford of all places, yet can't decide between "generalised" and "generalized." Deary deary me, how standards must have fallen at our once great institution, I had heard, previously, that "wokeness" was now the primary concern there, but I assumed fluency and at least some sort of qualification in English would still be a basic entry requirement for a degree course. If there is no longer such a requirement for "Oxford degree educated software engineers" it goes some way to explaining the very poor performance of many software systems, the constant security breaches, and the ever present need for constant remedial action , normally referred to as "updates" . Basically, It all comes down to simple spelling mistakes.

  16. I also have such outdated habits, I withdraw what I want when I want , carry it with me when i want , and spend it as I want in the old fashioned way. I have not yet progressed to holding others up as I fumble with my phone, just give me some time and I will try to catch up with the latest time saving advances in technology
  17. Some people must feel comfortable holding up others and causing queues whilst fumbling with their phones. That appears to indeed be ( Their) life. It may be their personal choice, it is not mine or that of many others

  20. 7/11 will probably have to take on more staff to assist those slowing the rest of us down with this "prompt" pay rubbish
