Various Politicians, Civic Dignitaries, Police Chiefs and other public figures have made sympathetic statements, Even an American pop star, has commented. An appropriate statement from the usually very vocal Muslim Council of Britain would not have done any harm, might even have slightly improved their image and peoples perception of them,

of course it isn't, at least not compared to who knew about this apparently "open secret" ( a word synonymous with saville as I remember) and the names of those who actively protected him and enabled him to continue his personal long term error of judgement as and when he felt the need. and of course who ever signed off his astonishingly generous pay increase

That's a sign of how entrenched kiddie fiddling has actually become in the BBC. it must have been going on for a very long time if some of the practices are now thought of as " traditional " presumably when compared to what ever contemporary techniques are currently in use. The judge also seems to have gone out of his way to trivialise Edward's behaviour by qualifying the definition of "making images" almost suggesting it might have been an accident , I also heard a report where the judge had said there was "no question of his being of good character, as he was clearly of the highest character" well when judged by the standards of the BBC he may well be. but personally I don't agree Probably a lenient sentence awaits him but basically he's toast He didn't come out of it totally empty handed though of course, his £500k salary was paid in full and he even got a £40,000 a year pay rise whilst suspended

Can't your sort give it a rest for just 1 minute ? any excuse to start your boring predictable whining and whinging about the tories, and if its not them, then its "right wing extremists" Are you that obsessed with your left- right fixation that you have to bring it into every single thread ?, just like a Trump hater, it really is bizarre behaviour Are you incapable of understanding that issues like pedophillia and the cold blooded murder of kids at a dance class transcend your petty left - right arguments, and sentiments I don't care who is in charge of the BBC , how much money they have or where they live. i was quite surprised at your closing words didn't think you would discriminate... "not even british".. I can't imagine how awful that would be, can you? . as i said I don't really care but I would rather they dealt with their pedo employees more robustly

Well if anybody had speculated that the perpetrator was a white English guy with connections to the English Defence League I'm sure you would have been equally outraged Whether you personally like it or not many people are not in favour of the current immigration situation that exists in the UK. Whilst there were trouble makers involved the vast majority of people there were not. People in the UK are reaching the limit of their patience, they are understandably angry at the changes society is undergoing, changes that nobody voted for , changes that seriously affect their quality of life. But what they are starting to get really worked up about is people , just like you , who will scream bigot and racist at anybody who doesn't share your views, or raises what they consider to be legitimate concerns. You need to accept that other peoples views are just as valid and important as yours

They may have been giving sound advice along the lines of " you can make a fuss if you want, and if you really insist, we will proceed with the investigation . BUT be warned, banks are powerful wealthy institutions that don't take kindly to such matters, they will make life difficult for you and we won't be able to help you" -

True i guess, but it inspires about as much confidence as their scheme to protect ones money if the bank goes pop -
As usual a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and your self claimed legal expertise appears to have let you down,, It is still being claimed he is 17 despite looking twice that age, The trial is not complete YET...he has just been named, as Axel Rudakubana announce on the news just now as breaking news. Reporting restrictions have been lifted. He was reported to have been smirking in court. Rumours are rife that is he was a convert to islam, it wouldn't surprise me.

Not wishing to tempt fate so currently touching wood , but so far I have only suffered two very minor issues, where unauthorised withdrawals were made from my account. it was my UK current account and both times money was taken via direct debits, around £50 each. The phone in procedure is the usual pain but once I got through and answered their questions it was sorted out within a few days. Worryingly the guy I spoke to told me that there is nothing that can be done to stop a fraudulent direct debit being set up by somebody he tried , unsuccessfully, to put my mind at rest by quoting the "direct debit guarantee" that covers such events but even though there have been no further issues I remain somewhat concerned. Its very easy these days, for organizations like banks to become very difficult to contact if they wish, they can literally just blank you, and there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. I don't trust them in the UK and I don't trust them here unfortunately they are a necessary evil -

I'm sure data access logs, just like cctv cameras , can malfunction at amazingly opportune moments, purely by coincidence. On the other hand even if they did have the info, who's to say they would tell you -

Lets hope we don't get stuck behind you at the checkout. Proof of fraud means nothing if the banks don't agree. I seriously think cash is safer. There are obviously serious security issues with digital / online transactions and whilst the potential for problems may be rare, it is and always will be a genuine threat , as hackers are pretty much one step ahead of the so called tech experts. Some seem to relish the thought of having a cashless system imposed on us ! Not for me thanks -

A guy I met years ago who didn't trust banks told me the exact same thing, almost word for word, I can still remember him holding court in a bar, telling everybody in his thick Irish accent how " he wasn't stupid " and "all his money was kept in a safe" but the next thing he said proved to be his undoing, a basic mistake that sealed his fate , and he didn't have to wait long, " The only people who know the combination are me and the wife" He disappeared shortly after she cleaned him out
