I am just thinking the economy is really in bad shape here (Thailand), the cost of oil and import stuff is at the max! The rise of the baht is just too off set some of the cost and show a strength of stability! But when it will feel it will feel hard!

i went to pantip and look at many brands ! at the beginning i was thinking to go for a Acer as it was in his budget ! but for few thousand more i decide for a benQ ( same company as Acer ) but bit better !

it is a good machine , as many will said not the top , but i think quality / price it is the best !

I went oversea and because he work for powerduty free I was able to claim the 7 % VAT and go inside the airport with him, be careful you need to show the laptop before you clear the custom ! we did not know that , and he has to go out himself with his pass and come back into the dutyfree area !

He got back 3000 baht, the laptop was just over 40000 baht !

Specification was ok with 512 memories, I am not sure what new now , thing change fast in 4-5 months .

I hadn't thought about VAT, nice 7% savings. But, not sure how I could pull this off, even though I will be moving to Cambodia. I now have a 1 year married to Thai Visa.

when you do the purchass , they feel the paper work for you ( bring passport ) when you go to the airport present the laptop before enter the custom , and after in the duty area present the papers work for refund !

i like cafe , just order 5 kilo for own consumption this morning , cheap but not the top quality !

the best cafe i ever find was in Vietnam , big bean at 13 us dollar a kilo , but superb !

In australia i have some good supplier like Grunder !

If you do not use your account they WILL close it down completly after 7 years. The dormant account status is triggered after 3 years with the fee. the last 2 years many time i said to my friends, restaurant food is not so good as it use to be OR it is getting harder to get the same quality as before or find good new places !

I am not talking of the shop at 35 baht but more the over 1500 baht for 2 people , good foods but no decor place!

sadly some other places i know have close , one was a restaurant in rama who change oil every time it deepfry the fish ... gone the other was pigeon

yes good stuff there but 30 % more expensive as everywhere else ! kormooyung is great ! if i am around i stop there , will not go specialy for it ! i think quality did drop the last 7 years .
