53 minutes of the game gone....and only now can I tune in, as I had to work again so late..........which brings me to the most important question....am I surriounded by a bunch of lazy, time-wasting no-gooders, who have nothing else in their noddles but football????? (That should inspire a reply or two.....................................)

Morning playmates-------- is one allowed to confess that one went to bed after 90 minutes of the swiss-ukraine game and contented oneself to see the score and results on the TV thread the following morning???? The game, IMHO, was not worth missing a round of slap and tickle with the wife........ and at least I scored within regular playing time.....

Chonabot - I´ve sent you a PM...want to change to 1-1 in the Switzerland-Ukraine game. No-one is capable of scoring goals any more...............

P.S. I´d like to change my prediction for Italy-Australia to 1-0.....

Didn't see that one. Ref for the Arg / Mex game was OK though...

He was....until he disallowed the Argie goal in the 92nd minute when it was in fact a legitimate goal..........or does the blame fall fully on the linesman for that???????

If I knew you guys better and was sure you wouldn´t be insulted, I´d call you a bunch of big girls´ blouses for moaning so much about the refs!!!!! I´m a football dumbo (even though I´m now lengths ahead of Sing_sling...hee-hee...) but am always astounded by the fact that almost all decisions made by refs are correct - and I find that amazing considering that they are mostly split-second decisions without the help of cameras and replays. I can´t take massive criticism of refs serious............................
