Personally from experience also after using a lot of antibiotics. I started using a lot of probiotics.
I was fine until I took the probiotics they resulted in a 7 year battle of dysbiosis and bacterial overgrowth.
ironically it took a s#%t load of antibiotics to correct the imbalance.
There is a misconception that probiotics repopulate your biome. They don’t . What they do is create an environment for bacteria to thrive in. Some can be more beneficial to certain types of bacteria. This is how imbalances are caused.
I would just stick to a healthy varied diet with plenty of fiber. You body will rebalance itself.
the only thing I would recommend is PHGG as a source of prebiotic fiber.- 5

They now have over 36k in hospital. Field hospital and hosphotel or whatever it is called. There is no way this model will be sustainable if the number continues to rise. The overall cost and potential for significant numbers of medical personnel to become infected therefore potentially seriously affecting staffing levels and the systems ability to cope with critical cases.
it’s a disaster waiting to happen.- 14

How many tests were done to get these results, enquiring minds want to know.
That is the constant 60 million dollar question.
I don’t think they want you to know. As the reality may be quite sobering.
I know in the beginning they said they could not afford to do mass testing. I doubt anything has changed since then.
There is no clear indication either of what the turnaround time for tests are so you don’t know when these positive cases where tested.
I don’t believe the statistics are a true reflection of the current situation.- 2

So Indian Variant is potentially 40% more transmissible than the the UK B117 variant. Given that it is believed that the Uk variant was 4 times more transmissible than the original variant that is a pretty scary statistic if correct.

I think as he is under 16 he will need to be registered as an unaccompanied minor. They are normally then assigned a member of the cabin crew who will be there guardian from checking in onwards. I used to fly all the time from Australia to Uk as an UM from the age of ten to see my grandparents.

Report of early studies on the BBC were stating that first jabs can reduce your potential to transmit the virus by about 40%. It was still only a very small study group.

Chonburi is Orange in the map, which denotes 51-100 cases. But Chonburi has 1000+ active cases.
It’s just more smoke and mirrors to hide the reality of the situation

Agreed. But let the misdemeanors out of prisons....it's just pathetic.
According to Wikipedia Thai prison population is around 400k and 280k are in for drug offenses

Hospitals will only put COVID patients in special rooms, designed to prevent aerosolized virus particles fro mgetting out. This is for the protection of other patients.
In field hospitals everyone except the staff is COVID positive.
I think its unlikely that they have enough negative pressure rooms to hold all of the Covid19 patients currently in general hospitals. At best most hospitals have only a handful of these rooms.

How miraculous that the number of patients discharged from hospital is almost exactly the same as the number of new infections. ????

How do you know fully vaccinated people are testing positive in quarantine. Numbers of infected people in quarantine are posted every day, and the numbers are tiny. And only some in quarantine are vaccinated, because they don't break out the numbers of vaccinated people, we don't know how many are infected.
Here is in Australia. I will try and find the article for you.
it’s also not limited to specific vaccines.
what is it you think vaccines do ? -

Sorry, I meant infected.
But your second sentence is just crazy talk.
Plenty of fully vaccinated people testing positive for the virus here in hotel quarantine.
It’s becoming more apparent with every post you understand very little about the virus. -

Breakthrough infections are rare. The odds of 8 vaccinated individuals in one group being re-infected are very low.
Who said they were re-infected ?
The odds of catching the virus if vaccinated is equal to those unvaccinated. -

I thought the national team was vaccinated.
Vaccines don’t stop you from getting the virus.

Detailed testing data was posted here earlier, showing testing results in Klong Toey. Some tests were incomplete 2 days after samples were taken.
Positivity rate was 4%.
How can you say 4% maybe 50% of the test were still incomplete. You don’t know.
you are just stabbing in the dark- 1

Maybe you try to provide information and/or analysis for the readers here, rather than simply trying to opine on every one of my posts.
I am trying to explain why the current wave seems to be contained, and why the number of cases reported daily don't seem to be indicative of a catastrophe. The Doomsayers alternate between claiming the epidemic is going out of control to saying that the authorities are lucky because the heat is stopping the epidemic.
But no analysis of the situation, just assertions. Worthless to the readers here.
Show me accurate testing daily testing data and how long they are taking to turn around the tests. I have heard up to 4 days.
given the lack of transparent data any so called positivity rate is just a stab in the dark -

finally the hospital called in the morning. First they asked for 200.000 THB deposit. We had to manage this with his international insurance first. It took a while until incurance company confirmed. Now he got a nice room and they take care of him, hope he will recover soon. Difficult task if you are alone and you have to handle this all alone while you are sick.
Thx to all
Was that a public hospital or private?
