Thanks, we are really enjoying Spain and the people have been very welcoming. So far we’ve only spent time in Logroño, but as soon as we get our residency card (our appointment with immigration is this Tue), I’m going to buy a car so we can venture out. Hopefully, getting our green card will go better than getting the empadronamiento (proof of address), which took 4 trips to city hall - I even had a translator go with us each time!
Enjoy....

It seemed far more efficient that she had a syringe in the tray ready to go when I sat down... I didn't see or notice other nurses nearby. Other than at the other injection stations.
Maybe slightly different depending on days?????

I see they changed appointment hours 09-10 ..... might be to adapt to the mall normal opening time maybe ....so by Mall opening time all is done
Indeed, perhaps.....but at the time I got the appointment it wasn't decided or announced the Malls would be allowed to reopen?????

Yes, same. It made for a more efficient process.
Not entirely correct, as where and when you get the shot there are 2 different nurses preparing the syringes before vaccinating at tables next to where you get vaccinated.

I think the rounds of second doses are due to start Monday 6th, 3 weeks from the 1st Pfizer shots. I am due on the 9th..... I wonder if the 6th floor of The Central Festival is still available to them for use as Malls are allowed to reopen for regular shopping now.
I was thinking exactly the same about the mall being open again. I guess we will get a Msge if different location. And to answer the OP, second dose will be Pfizer too. Refer to download.

99+% of the vaccine protocols administered to date here are pretty much worthless re: vaccine passport.
Not worth the paper its printed on comes to mind.
Thai Doctor given 4th dose with Pfizer vaccine to enter Canada without being quarantined
And that's why some of the U.S.-donated Pfizer went to Thais needing to travel abroad for studies, athletics and VVIPs.
Not only VVIPs . Pattaya has been vaccinating all foreigners above 40 with Pfizer. Not to mention the 1.000.000 doses in July and the 300.000 more doses next week of AZ donated by Japan......As far as quarantine is concerned some of Eu countries don't apply quarantine for fully vaccinated people.......

It's NOT correct! Did you read the links?
How many times do I have to post...THE RETAIL VAT SCHEME HAS ENDED IN THE UK.
You can no longer claim the VAT back in the UK and take items back in your luggage...only way to do it is to get the product shipped to your overseas address.

RAZZ
I read and agree just noting UK is not the entire world, e.g. in Belgium this regulation is not applied.

To be clear, in addition to Customs Duties and VAT, imported goods are also subject to the same excise taxes that apply to similar, locally manufactured goods
And all these taxes apply on the cost of transport too....

Nothing is certain except death, taxes - and old people complaining about the younger generation
Perhaps , if not done yet, you should read " The praise of madness" by Erasmus.....

I’m a beer lover, but I do like good wine occasionally.…The place we’re renting here in Logroño, until we can decide where to buy, is owned by a prominent family who are owners of a big winery in the La Rioja region - they’re fantastic people.
Great stuff. I used to spend a lot of time in Spain. Barcelona, Valencia, etc mainly working. And had a lot of great times also in Rosas, Palafrugell, etc for holidays....

Not connected to village land but i was shocked when i saw an advert for land for sale recently in Jomtien. It was the piece of land where they were going to build Ocean 1, yes the biggest in Asia ! The asking price was 660 million baht about $20 million for 4 acres !! I am not familar with land prices but even in a western city $5 million an acre must be pushing it.
I don't even want to dream about the price of Oceans 12... ????????????

Vaccine. Now What?
in COVID-19 Coronavirus

Same as in Eu. The Commission has so far given 4 conditional marketing authorisations for the vaccines developed by BioNTech and Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV following EMA positive assessment of their safety and efficacy. Several other vaccines are at different stages of assessment by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
