Yes, because doctors are disinterested guardians of children's welfare:

So you are saying that every vaccine created by the pharmaceutical industry should be blindly taken, especially if politicians (possibly sponsored by that same industry) say so, and that I should not consult my doctor, because he is “a disinterested guardian” of his patients welfare?

Can you disclose your ties to any such pharmaceutical industry?

We've seen the consequences of selfishness in regards to public health. In the face of a huge rise in covid hospitalizations , the governor of Texas - who previously forbade requiring the wearing of masks - has now made it mandatory for most Texans.

The head of a country, which successfully got the virus under control, the German chancellor, Misses Merkel, is not wearing a mask and said at her recent meeting with France's Macron publicly that she does not need one because she keeps a 1.5 meter distance. Keep in mind that she gets advised by Germany's famous Robert Koch Institute and by Dr. Drosten, so if she does so, she might know better than you.

We would all like to see this drug, and/or any other drug, work.  But since Trump was pushing the drug, there was a lot of skepticism.  We all know Trump to be a liar, wrong on most things, and/or having corrupt intent.  Which is why his claim(s) are typically dubious at best.  From the article, much more research still needs to be done.

Yes, reject anything Trump says just because Trump said it! Very clever! One day he will recommend to breathe, and you start holding your breath, right?

Reminds me about the “drinking bleach and putting a UV light into your bottom, sorry, body” speech. As funny as it sounds, who among you would, after finishing laughing, check if there could be something useful behind it. No, he said it, dismiss it right away.

If you would have, you might have found that exposing blood to UV light was indeed a tested therapy around 1930-1950, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_irradiation_therapy - with some promising results at sick dogs. And now there are even UV-sticks available, to put into the mouth, to disinfect your throat (http://www.uvaid.com/UV-Aid-Cold-Flu-and-Ear-infection-Prevention_p_8.html).
(Disclaimer: I’m not endorsing any of these, they might or might not work, they might or might not be harmful, and I’m not saying that Trump is lying or not lying.)

Your personal decision affects others. Hence in quite a few countries there are consequences, eg don't vaccinate, kids are not allowed at daycare.

So you are saying that vaccinations should be taken even against your doctor’s advice because some countries otherwise don’t allow kids at daycare?

I think in such a case the country is doing something wrong.

Let us also not forget that everything that Stadtler claims about himself is alleged. Something that as a lawyer, if Stadtler is indeed a lawyer, you would expect him to understand.

Stadler, can’t you run for president? You are at least as competent, but magnitudes more funny, than the current two <deleted> candidates!

  6. This crisis, like all the others before, makes the very rich richer and the poor poorer. Sad. Even before the virus there was modern slavery in Cambodia, for example in the blood bricks factories, where many poor ended up when they could not pay the loan sharks back anymore. Not loans for luxury items, but often simply to pay for a hospital treatment or similar.

    More are joining them now.

This is despite the fact that Cambodia itself didn’t have a draconian lockdown, but it is mainly caused by the lockdowns in the export markets.

Can you share with us any of the commonly used vaccines where the negatives outweigh the positives for the population-at-large?

That might be an interesting exercise, feel free to do that analysis yourself.

My point was exactly not such a generalization, but that it is an individual decision, based on your personal (health) situation, and where “A good doctor will inform you about the risks and the benefits, so that you can make an informed decision”.

  8. The German chancellor, Misses Merkel, is not wearing a mask and said at her recent meeting with France's Macron publicly that she does not need one because she keeps a 1.5 meter distance.

    Tom, go and shame her!!!

But keep in mind that she gets advised by Germany's famous Robert Koch Institute and by Dr. Drosten, so she might not believe you, but them.

  9. Like everything, vaccinations are not black or white, good or bad. There are different vaccinations, for different reasons, using different methods and technologies, with different risks. Vaccinations can be very different things. A good doctor will inform you about the risks and the benefits, so that you can make an informed decision.

Whatever vaccines are coming up for influenza or for Covid-19, some might have a better benefit / risk ratio than others. I see nothing wrong with being clear and open about it. If the benefit / risk ratio is positive, why not, however if it is negative, then no.

With different vulnerabilities this is an individual decision.

Accusing anybody, who has questions or doubts about a new fast tracked and only superficially tested Covid 19 vaccine, to be an anti-vaxxer, is stupid, or malicious. Let the vaccine come, and then let's look at it, and if it has a convincing case, good, but otherwise, no.

And if you add the element of a forced vaccination, then of course no, then you can shove it up your behind. We're not in China, but in democratic countries, or so I thought. Convince me with facts (not with fear) and I'll do it, as I've done before, but if you need guinea pigs, take a volunteer, it seems that there are enough here on TVF, or use Fauci or Trump or Biden.

    1) The onkly thing what could work, is a complete boycott of Chinese goods in the West. But these are all capitalists. Lenin already sead: "the capitalist will even se4ll us the rope we will hang him with ".

    2) What I do not understand: LOTS of protests all over the Capitalist World about misconduct, misbehaviour of government(al bodies) or privates, but NEVER over a "socialist" or muslim state. Any protests heard about the Chinese behaviour in Tibet since 1950, or nowadays against Ujgurs ? About semi-slavery in the Gulf or Saudi-Arabia ? Human house-hold ladies dumped as trash ?

Thanks, yes, you bring up good points.

Saudis are happily running a genocide in Yemen with the massive help of the US, China exposing millions of Uighurs in their concentration camps to torture, Saudis infiltrating Twitter to get to the IDs of critical Saudi citizens and arresting them, silencing them, and much more like that, that all seems to be not worthy much attention.

I hope that at least the people of Hong Kong will get some help. God have mercy with the ones arrested already in the last days, whose crimes where to sing songs and show flags demanding freedom.

Why didn't he say this in the first place and advise people to buy basic masks and not to worry about n95 masks?  People would have respected this and listened since everyone trusts and believes in this guy.   In reality, he is now trying to cover his lies as he clearly explains.

BTW, good to see you agree and admit Fauci lied on this.  As plenty of evidence also shows, he's lied on plenty of occasions.

So it’s ok if Fauci lies, interesting, even his friends admit it. When is he not lying? How can we know now?

A strong hint that he is indeed not a scientist any more, but became a politician, where lying is the new and the old normal.

Let’s also not forget that he was the one paying the Wuhan Virus lab to continue his experiments to make viruses more deadly, after that became illegal in the US. Yes, that Wuhan lab near that wet market, where all is supposed to have started. What is he not telling us about that?

Unless Americans wear masks and recommit to social distancing, the daily increase in new cases nationwide, currently around 40,000, could reach 100,000, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told a U.S. Senate committee.

Good, herd immunity will get reached faster, not slowed down artificially again.

Maybe Fauci should look a little to other continents, Europe, Asia, cases down, deaths down, whatever the strategy was. He could learn something.

And then teach a little about working on your health, how being obese, being fat, living on junk food, makes your body much more vulnerable to this virus. Everywhere else the deaths are almost only in the age group of 65 and older, only in the US its already around 45, and probably even younger.

Is the virus targeting Americans, or are Americans more easy victims, and if so, why? Fix that.

But no, it’s all about the election now, and money, scaremongering is the game.

What's the point of talking if you couldn't do anything at all about the situation? When western countries took over African countries or Asian countries as colonies and did what they liked did anyone do anything? Or were they able to do anything ?

So now the western countries should be able to feel what it was like during the colonial days when weak African countries and Asian countries were being taken over. China hasn't even really started yet you know.

You wait later when they become even more powerful they will station soldiers in quarters to keep peace they will say, just like what the British said when they occupied Malaya, Hong Kong and Singapore, they wanted to keep peace. So China today wants to keep peace too. Is it strange?

You are right, it is scary what the CCP is preparing. But who says we couldn’t do anything?

WHO is right, just ignore the usual sceptics. Just like at the figures below for new cases today

    USA 17000+

    Brazil 13000+

    Russia 6600+

    India 14000+

    Saudi Arab 4400

Now if your scared already, you might want to come to

    Thailand +2

    China +19

    Ireland +11

    New Zealand 0

    Finland +5

    Malaysia +2

    Hong Kong +2

    Cambodia 0

    Vietnam 0

    Japan 0
    ...

Some countries are not through yet, see above, but others are, obviously.

And please note, these numbers are infections, not deaths.

The only country with a problem in the developed world is the USA and that is primarily driven by its lack of affordable health care and deep divide between haves and have nots.

Amazing, I can agree with you for one fragment of your elaboration!

Indeed, the richest 1% owns more than the remaining 99%, and the pandemic is making them even richer. Not good.

The prime examples are the meat processing plants in Canada and USA which had horrific outbreaks. The end result was that store shelves ran bare. Canada depended upon a handful of large slaughterhouses and when they all went down, the   facilities had to close, resulting in the critical disruption of the country's food chain.

Seems to be good to be vegetarian in these crazy times ????

More conspiracy theory garbage from the "plandemic" brigade. Such tripe should be totally ignored by rational people. Sadly such B.S. lies are spreading like a virus on social media.

Before letting out such nonsense you might want to have a look at the official stats in the Asian countries, beginning with Thailand, zero new cases everyday, for weeks, Cambodia the same, zero for months now, Vietnam, Laos, and all the other Asian countries also declining numbers. The same in Europe, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and on the other side of the globe Australia, New Zealand, and so on. Numbers declining everywhere.

Which is what I said: "SARS-CoV-2 turns out to be declining and even over in many countries already, and nowhere near the exponential killing as predicted".

Just look at the official numbers. Or are you calling them all liars, conspiracy theorists?

they're right (this time) as testing has confirmed even the most pox ridden country is only at about a 10% IR. Just read a new swine flu being studied that has health experts very concerned with its potential to mutate, just what we don't need..

Yes, as the SARS-CoV-2 turns out to be declining and even over in many countries already, and nowhere near the exponential killing as predicted, a new threat is needed. The world is full of viruses, pick one!
