No you got it Wrong its Biodegradable. But what would I know. You're The Expert
Yes, of course! It´s nothing wrong with it. They just put it on a list as banned substance, because they felt like it and had nothing better to do.
Do you hear how stupid that sounds? I do not care if it´s bio-what and bio-this or eco-fine. Out of what I understand, it is something that is not so good.

neither are motor cars, i bet more have died from those though, no need for the "stupid comment" just because we have opposing views. Paraquat is safe when used correctly......just like motor vehicles.
No it´s not!

Glyphosate is an Herbicide Not a Pesticide if used as you said there wouldn't be a crop left in the Paddock.
Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide, meaning it will kill most plants. It prevents the plants from making certain proteins that are needed for plant growth. Glyphosate stops a specific enzyme pathway, the shikimic acid pathway. The shikimic acid pathway is necessary for plants and some microorganisms.
Yep, there you see how bad and dangerous it is to the ecological system.

The options that you Don't Mention are not financial viable compared to what they Had.
Ok, then it´s like with everything else. Things change, times change and work change. Just maybe farming should be on a professional level instead of something that each and every family is doing just to have rice for the year. Just maybe people have to realize that they have to do something else. Like getting an education and things like that.........

If one is allocated a seat on a flight into Thailand, say as a spouse, would one be allowed in on a tourist visa?
As it is today, no one can enter Thailand on a tourist visa. The only way in that case would be jumping trough all the things to get a Non-O.

That a surprise. How far out of town? A one bedroom with shower room, tiny balcony and a/c (but cold water) in Hua Hin is 4000 a month. Key entry to a nice quiet totally safe apartment block 2-3 minutes from the main drag.
Am I comparing apples with oranges?
No you are comparing right, I think. However, the small studio you are talking about can be more new and better designed as well as more modern.
What I am talking about is not far away. In Bangkok, one that I rent i in Sukhumvit Soi 77, On Nut. Like 5 min to Sky Train.
Others are in Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Hat Yai. Also not very much away from thing, but at the same time not in the middle. -

The point is to keep Thailand safe and that foreigners should be able to pay for their hospital care. And your wife also have to do 14 day quarantine.

Thanks, yes my Thai (adult) son is in Chiang Mai.
He knows absolutely nothing about cars and nothing whatever about buying cars.
He and his wife are looking for a car with more seats (3 kids) and they're impressed with Honda Mobilio.
My son is currently overloaded with work, Covid 19 has increased his work load enormously so I'm trying to get some info for him.
He shared a Thai language Honda website snip, it currently shows Mobilio 659,000Baht to 765,000Baht, but I don't know if that's the normal list price or whatever. I'm hoping of course these prices are standard full prices and right now there's some reduction in prices.
I just thought you could ask him to look at prices for brands and models you wish to buy for him. ????

as in a LOT more and theres a total lack of workforce willing to do manual work in Thailand........but you'd know all that, right?
No it´s not any lack of work force. That is just something made up by foreigners coming to Thailand with a negative attitude against the citizens of the country.

% Ecological farming isn't going to cut it .
Never mentioned 100% ecological farming. I said it will take a little bit more work, but there is options to use on the market. Read, instead of guess after one sentence.

Whatever! Do you think it´s put as banned substance on a list just because it´s healthy for people, animals and nature? Stupid comment!

I agree, I am not that important....The Chinese bought a brand name to put on THEIR Chinese rides...
And thank you for telling me/us that Chinese MG's are rubbish, because no doubt you and your 'others' have surveyed them at the dealers, yes...?...????
I owned one for a year, yes! A real stinking can of rubbish. Now back to the BMW.

You need a paid reservation to get a CoE. It´s just to cough up the dough if you want to come to Thailand. ????

So you can't tell me if a Chinese MG was cr-p or a real MG was cr_p as your post didn't say.....
"You catch on very slow to every post I make, right".....
Is that so, how did you work that one out...? ????
Just because the initial start of the thread actually focus on the MG´s of today. It´s just that it also tells the history about how and why it became like this.
To focus on the "real" MG as you say. Oh, actually the one today is real too, because they bought the brand, right?
However, my initial post stands. They are rubbish, and that´s the only thing I need to know and many with me. That so they don´t go buy one in the shop, due to that the quality is very low compared to the price that is almost same as the better brands.
Now you can come up with what you want as a reply. I am finished with you. You are not that important. -

Maybe better you go back to read the headline, and you might get a small clue about what I commented. Unfortunately I do not have high hopes.

The last box of Glyphosate (6 x 5L) we bought was 460 baht/5L. If you come up with something safer to replace it at the same price, or maybe a bit more, we will be on it reasonably priced alternative like a rat on a KFC chicken wing! Glyphosate will be gone forever once you name the reasonably priced alternative. Can you name the reasonably priced alternative??? Playing the devils advocate: Are you one of the numpties that don't care if we pay 2 or 3 or 4 times as much for the current less effective alternative? Like we don't deserve to make a living as long as you get what you want???
People have been making a living on farming long before any chemicals were even invented. It´s called ecological farming. Actually it will demand a little bit more work, but on the other hand people pay more for ecological, human and environmentally safe products.
So, just stop spouting your rubbish. I am also pretty sure they can come up with a reasonably priced alternative. Maybe not as effective like the poisonous ones. That means you have to work a little bit more to make a living. Are you scared of that, and instead make a choice that makes both nature and humans suffer? Actually it is already alternative products on the market. The reason you are not accepting to use them, is that you are just to scared of the little bit of extra work it will mean. You just find it more comfortable to complain and get back to hurting people, animals and nature for your personal gain. Disgusting behaviour and attitude. You should be ashamed!- 8

Absolutely no problem. At the moment I rent 6 different places around Thailand. Two of them in Bangkok. Most of them have a rent on 2500-4500 baht. All of them have aircon and hot water. The two for 4500 each are townhouses with 2 bedroom, 2 toilets and a big kitchen dining space downstair.
Never any risk for burglary. I would think it would be a higher risk the more you pay for your living.

Farmers call for reconsideration of chemical ban
in Thailand News

Stop! There is enough knowledge here, and enough professional farmers as well adequate farming techniques. What you are trying with is just showing off your schooling and put yourself on a higher place than the Thai farmer.
never said all should end farming. Please do not twist my words, for your own personal ego-rush gain.
