  1. Did you pay a fee when having your stamp transferred?
  2. All legit immigration forms have an ID number such as TM30, TM47. TM6 etc. The above form doesn't seem to have this notification and I can only assume it's a scam worked by the office to obtain a fee?
  3. Walk in. No form filling. Stamp transfer is a free service. If asked for money you ask for a receipt.
  4. https://www.allstate.com/resources/car-insurance/how-to-remove-oil-from-driveway Plenty of advice on Youtube.
  5. Strange that. https://www.richardbarrow.com/2019/06/a-quick-guide-to-renewing-your-british-passport-in-bangkok/
  6. Can't remember as to how I paid it. Thanks for informing me though.
  7. You live and learn. Along with the Thais.
  8. So do you, along with most Thais, believe that the left hand lane, hard shoulder is a motorcycle lane?
  9. No such thing as a 'fast lane'. It's an 'overtaking lane'
  10. It's because of the way motorcyclists drive here. How often does one see, in a day, a m/cist stop at a junction and look right before joining traffic? I'd say rarely if at all. It's the fear of the law etc that deters some farangs not to drive here in Thailand. Having been involved in an accident with a m/cist myself and being the innocent driver I know how the cops deal with accidents involving farangs and it's not fairly done. They look to their own first.
  11. Address: U Thong Rd, Ho Rattanachai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 13000
  12. In fact I know a few farangs here in Thailand that will not drive a car due to the standard of Thai drivers. They get their wives to ferry them around. So it's not just motorcyclists.
  13. Nah 'Screaming' is absolutely correct.
  14. It's been a couple of years since my renewal but no affidavit was needed as far as I recall. And as a reminder to others. When changing your stamps into your new passport there is no charge for doing so at immigration even if they ask for one.
  15. I filled out the application and signed it along with the required documents needed. My wife then handed it in at VFS along with the fee. Can't remember how long that my passport took to do but my missus went and collected it. I never left the house. I absolutely agree. Somchai Bloggs, who lives down the road, could have done it and got 500-1,000 Baht for his troubles. But lucky for me my missus enjoyed her day out and did it for luv. As I've said before she also did a farang neighbour's passport at the same time as she did mine. Nay bother.
  16. Indeed. My wife when traveling falls asleep at the drop of a hat. So a 4 hour ride, each way, is a good enough reward.
  17. I got my missus to renew my passport in Bangkok. She also did a fellow farang's as well. Cost nothing except bus fare.
  18. Why worry? Not your problem.
  19. https://www.nookiesdelights.3baht.net/ He has chutney and piccalilli. And a lot more besides.
  20. How does she do a 90 day report 'every' year. When it's due every 90 days.
  21. If a person is doing a visa under the table can they do their 90 day report at any Imm office? Or can they do it online. Simple questions really but I get conflicting answers from people I speak with. Thanks
  22. 16 years ago me and my missus undertook IVF treatment. We used the Nawabutr Clinic in Bangkok after a recommendation by a person that successfully used it. First try we had a daughter. About 8 months later we did another course of IVF. This time boy/girl twins. Never a problem with the treatment as long as you abide to the instructions given to you by the clinic ie my wife going to our local hospital at 2am to have injections etc. I can't recall costs but 16 years ago my wife says our first daughter was about 160,000 Baht. Exchange rates were very different in those days. The twins cost about 100,000 Baht because we already had their eggs frozen. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance and good luck.
  23. I bought my Lenova 'all in one' from Lazada a few years back. No real problems to date.
  24. Not true really because their last question is 'do you think about suicide? That confirms depression.
