  1. All things being equal and you have a situation where a mans life is in danger along with a dog's. You can only save one life. Who's it to be, based on worth?
  2. Thanks for that. I'm a lover of Pitbulls and I've never come across a nasty one.
  3. How did you get your dogs put down? There isn't a vet around here that will put a dog down. My last one died in agony due to his belief in Buddhism.
  4. The first person ever to receive a face transplant was a French woman and the dog that did it was her own pet dog and it was a Labrador.
  5. Bring back the man who used to give you a basket for each soi dog he was given. He did not take dogs off the street other than the ones that were given to him. He was a god send where I live.
  6. Shopee cheapest price. About 420 Baht incl postage. https://shopee.co.th/1PCS-lot-Electric-shaver-epilator-massage-Li-Ion-rechargeable-battery-for-Panasonic-ES8042-ES8043-ES8044-ES8046-ES8048-E-i.820220540.18531517745?sp_atk=c57bf752-9502-4fa7-b88d-34dcdd7a5f5e&xptdk=c57bf752-9502-4fa7-b88d-34dcdd7a5f5e
  7. They do get good wages if they work. A policeman gets 95% of the fines he issues on top of his basic pay. The remaining 5% the government has. The 95% is pooled with all officer operating in rear, off operation, duties back at the station. The opportunity is there if they get off their asses to rake the dosh in but ............ I put it down to laziness.
  8. You cut it to accommodate the strength you require. Simple innit? Hang on, but not in your case.
  9. It's just another law for the RTP to use in their armoury to obtain money.
  10. Can you imagine trying to pull that one in a developed country? There is always a choice.
  11. Catapults and glass marbles are everywhere for sale. The elastic on Thai catapults is tosh. I changed mine to round rubber, length 3 meters, spare tire, slingshot 6 mm from Lazada. Marbles https://shopee.co.th/10-Pcs-Marbles-16mm-glass-marbles-Knicker-glass-balls-decoration-i.110871266.1815713691
  12. You have to remember that in Thailand dogs are first and foremost a burglar alarm, day and night. I personally think Thais, as a whole, have no compassion for the wellbeing of dogs. Easy enough to get another one.
  13. A rifle is rather strong way of dealing with soi dogs. I use a catapult with glass marbles when out cycling . Hit them once and they don't forget.
  14. Obviously they don't understand the power of nature. You can't beat it but you can work with it.
  15. I'd imagine it's IO officers discretion on how he/she sees the situation?
  16. The thing was that my wife was never going to handle the gun in the event of an intruder returning. The Intentions were that I, ex military, was going to use it. My wife would take responsibility and admit she used it on the intruder. This was all in agreement with the policeman who supplied the gun. He said in the event of s*** happening all would be sorted after. I know that sounds a bit dramatic but thankfully s*** never happened and my wife calmed down..
  17. I've been married for 16 years and approx. 3 years ago Buriram IO asked my wife if she'd ever submitted a TM30. She replied no and they took 500 Baht off of her, no receipt. The following year they stapled in the back page of my passport 'Receipt of Notification'. I assume all farangs now have the same thing in their passports if a TM30 has been submitted by a property owner?
