  1. Everytime I take/took out a new policy. It's standard procedure. Google is yer friend. https://www.bolttech.co.th/en/car-insurance/tips/modified-car-coverage
  2. Traffic accidents victims are not treated free in Thailand. Hence why the driver paid her 6,000 Baht. She had NO insurance, not even the Por Ror Bor or that would have covered her medical bill. She should not have been out on the road. I can't speak for him other than he seemed to have been aware of his responsibility.
  3. If you have a new policy you will be required to have it photographed. If it's a continuous policy, with the same insurer, then no. But in the event of an accident the original photo's will be used to check for modifications. Insurers ain't gonna cough up if they don't have to.
  4. Same applies to Thais when driving. Time to choose Pit Bull or Thai on a motorcycle? Which is the deadliest?
  5. That is correct. Any modification, such as change original tyres/wheels, is a breach of the insurance. Hence why insurers always take photographs of your vehicle when you take out a policy. I think the lady has realised the she negated her policy in doing so. She has NO insurance.
  6. When I first bought my Pit Bull, from a policeman, the woman neighbourish got off her ass and went to complain to my MiL about buying it. She was scared and didn't want it around due to phobia. My MiL wouldn't get involved. I've had this Pit Bull 7+ years. In that time it has never chased a motorbike, chased a running child, never barks at people, never bit anyone etc etc. But in that time the cow that went to my MiL's dog has done all the previous. She doesn't look after her dog and allows it to attack anyone passing without fear of punishment. But for her to go past my house it's a no no.
  7. I didn't 'go'. I was just doing my normal annual extension. One of the documents required in the past was a TM30. I run around to oblige their request only to be told 'not needed'. What are the chances next year they'll ask for it?
  8. Why not? Why buy a Lamborghini when a Ford Escort does basically the same job?
  9. It is if you pay tea money. Grow some balls and ask for the ticket. People that pay bribes makes life harder for genuine people.
  10. Not only that they drive in the same manner as the people they are supposed to police. Hypocrites.
  11. I was told that at Buriram Immigration a month or so ago. Reported the fact on here.
  12. Better a catapult and glass marbles.
  13. A policeman works the crossing in the morning in the photo I attached and he's totally out of his depth. He actually stands on the crossing in-between 2 traffic cones and stops traffic if someone wants to cross.
  14. Where does the crossing end?
  15. Thanks to all who replied. I've decided to go down the route that I believe first sorted my problem 4 years ago. Failing that working I'll go for a CT scan once again. I'm gonna take Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin, backed up by Omeprazole, for 2 weeks. Cost about 400 Baht over the counter for the 2 antibiotics. I already have the PPI's.
  16. Sez who you? https://www.triplem.com.au/story/woman-mauled-to-death-by-group-of-seven-sausage-dogs-94212 https://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/dog-killed-2-month-old-baby-ripped-child-legs-father-slept-room-police-article-1.1065711 Plenty more stories out there where Pit Bulls haven't been blamed,
  17. Picture of my thoughorly peaceful Pit Bull being buried in sand by my kids and a friend.
  18. There's nothing stopping people keeping them as pets. Up to them.
  19. I raised my Pit Bull with 3 children. Plus visitors/friends. Never a problem. Try it instead of spouting siht.(anagram)
  20. It's from the Thai law books. The alleged offence(s) didn't happen in Kuwait if you care to read the OP. So Thai law applies. Doh
  21. 1 million people die per year due to mosquitos. 16 people die per year due to dogs. Not all Pit Bulls. So what's the argument here? I don't see them banning mosquitos.
  22. It's cuz it's not the dog involved. And the newspaper didn't want suing. Any old picture of a nasty looking dog should suffice in adding spice to the story.
