    Nor is a 15,000 Baht fine. Most Thais just do not pay traffic fines. On the spot vehicle confiscation, with the vehicle owner paying the tow charges on top, would be somewhat better. No fine paid by a certain time then the vehicle should be crushed. Talk about discrimination. Traffic violations Fine Driving without a license 200฿(official) / 500฿-1,000฿(tourist)

    From my experiences of Thai hospitals, private and government, they over prescribe medication.

    Thailand should provide emergency care for foreigners as per reciprocal treatment given to Thais when abroad. The UK provides free emergency treatment to all foreigners when attending a NHS hospital.

    Took my missus to the UK. No insurance. She had a fishbone caught in her throat. I took her to emergency at the local hospital. They got it out. I asked for the bill. No charge as it is/was classed as an emergency.

    Depends where you live. Korat has a government psychiatric hospital. I suppose the doctors there do private therapy, out of hours? There are also psychiatric out patients therapists at Suranaree University of Technology.

    That should be automatic if the IO require a photocopy of all passport pages. Buriram in my case.

    They're agents per se. They are freelancers. If you want one they will get you one. They'd do anything for a profit.
