  1. No doubt needed documentaries but most people know what happened if they aren't brainwashed. Still, leaders and those in government never get punished. You can kill your neighbor and go to jail for life; a leader of a country can kill millions and enjoy a privileged retirement. I'm waiting for the documentary on the man who brought Bush and his cronies to justice, but that's never coming.
  2. For some reason, I missed this three season series back when it came out in the late 80s. It's not too bad. I'm surprised at some of the themes in it. Three seasons are on tpb. Tour of Duty Writing this just reminded me of this one again...The Boys in Company C
  3. I've lost respect for Oliver Stone. He's just another fool with an opinion. You can't defend what Putin has done now and all the stuff connected to him over the past two decades like his apathy to journalists conveniently being murdered and all his opposition being locked away. And of course other acts. Here's a pic from the Daily Mail of April 22. showing Russia's losses in Ukraine. Was all this really worth it? It's probably only the beginning of the massive losses of life and wealth to come. Plus the destroyed economy and the ruining of Russia's name taking it back to the Soviet years. I though Oliver Stone learned something in Vietnam. Guess not.
  4. I enjoyed a couple of movies with Ben Affleck recently. The Tender Bar - On Amazon and the torrents. The Way Back - Netflix and no doubt torrents Both are dramas. Another one I just heard about which I will look into is this series..
  5. Just found this oldie from 1972, National Lampoon's Radio Dinner It's a flashback to the old days. You can see the list of the pieces in it at the following link.. https://www.marksverylarge.com/recordings-listing/radiodinner/
  6. Is there any place to buy seeds? How can people grow it without someone already growing it providing the seeds or plant seedlings..
  7. It turned out to be too slow for me and the love story didn't do it. Just me though. I do like the old movies from that period. Not sure what film or color technique they used but it just has more too it.
  8. Hey Fred, what district of Sisaket are those places in? I go to Amphur Muang sometimes to shop but I've never heard of them.
  9. There's another movie with the same name from 2015. I missed this one, too. It's amazing how many movies are made. There's almost another universe of movies out there.
  10. Once in a while I run across a music from a movie with lots of tribute pics. I remember this drama was big news when it came out but back then I was young and not into love stories. After watching this, I decided to look into this movie. It'll be my first viewing. It's on the torrents. Try YTS
  11. I finished the yellowstone series. It seems Montana is the home of lots of murderers and psycho and sociopaths. Overall it was one of those series you can binge watch. The characters are great but some are quite disturbing like the daughter who continuously psychologically abuses her brother. The whole family is suffering from serious issues. There are very few morally-good people in ranching in Montana and bodies buried everywhere. On to 1883...
  12. To me the trans women should realize it's not fair to real women. They may cry that they are a real women but it's just not true. They are certainly not naturally born as a normal healthy female. These trans women trying to exploit sports are hurting the whole trans cause. They look greedy and selfish. We all have to accept our own realities from birth. Some of us may be luckier than others and its just the way it is.
  13. I just started watching Yellowstone after the recommendations here. In the first few episodes people were dying left and right and other near-death experiences were a plenty. It seemed a bit over the top. The ranch owner main character of this got what he has without a flinch at using murder and abuse despite it taking place in present day. Should I believe this stuff actually happens? It sure makes me wonder if it's possible. Anyways, I am getting addicted to it. I'll have to check out the other series related to this too.
  14. Thailand should probably confiscate all the Russian owned property in Thailand and allocate it to the Ukrainians. That would be a good start.
  15. This stuff goes on and on generation after generation endlessly. Hiso people with expensive cars here just can't seem to keep them on the road without smashing someone.
  16. I wonder if the Russian regime could would have sought out sensitive information on leaders in Thailand to keep them under their thumb like Trump. Trump still won't condemn Putin. Maybe they have some info on people in Thailand which might influence the extra service for their citizens. The Russian currency and economy won't come back for decades so it can't be that Thailand's leaders think tourism is all going to go right back to the way it was.
  17. Why is it so hard to believe. Thousands have lost jobs and their assets have been devalued and their leaders is driving the nation down. The streets are full of right wing fascist police thugs that won't let people speak. TV news can't speak the truth. Using the term 'war' for the Ukraine war is a crime in Russia now. Maybe you are asking that question to yourself.
  18. The world is changing and Thailand isn't what it used to be. The Russians will be broke for a while and many westerners especially Americans have no real retirement. Hopefully, Thais will be wealthy enough soon to buy more of the beachfront property and condos and they can enjoy their own beach towns more.
