Yes. It is almost like the article in the daily mail. You pick 1 opinion between hundreds and say that that is the only truth. The article in the Volkskrant you point to explains it much better. But it's probably difficult to understand for someone who studied a couple of years in Maastricht at an institution where they teach in English, but still thinks he knows Dutch better than native Dutch speakers.

Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare just recommend to use mask in puplic places!
Yes. And even in The Netherlands they now say the same. Sure, maybe it is not "100% scientifically proven" but all signs show that it does make a difference.
Unfortunately there are people reading UK trash news papers like the daily mail who try to prove something else.

You're a hopeless case.
How much Dutch articles saying something else do you need to admit that you are wrong?
And if you understand Dutch so well: Alleen sukkels zoals jij proberen het op de man te spelen als ze begrijpen dat ze geen argumenten hebben.

Yes. I speak Dutch so I am able to read more newspapers in Dutch than you, and I am also able to better interpret who says what, and why they say things.
The problem in The Netherlands is that this organisation from day one said that wearing masks was not needed and would not help. The reason why they said this is that there were NO masks available. Even healthcare workers had no masks. The Netherlands were prepared very badly. To save masks they advised the population not to use it because there was no need.
And now they have to make a 180 degree turn? Saving face is also a thing in NL.
There are many scientists, and they all say something else. You can selective quote one to prove a point. But it is just 1 opinion of many, and doesn't prove much.
The Daily Mail is similar. Out of many opinions they quote 1 to prove their point. And forget about other opinions. A very bad newspaper.

You give a link to dailymail, a very unreliable newspaper. You shouldn't read this!
I am Dutch, and I couldn't find any news sources in Dutch where he was telling this. I do know that we have about 17 million reputable scientists in Netherlands, and they all have different opinions.

I used that licence to download and install Office 2019 from MS servers using the MS Office Deployment Toolkit, so I reckon it's a legitimate key.
Believe me, if you pay $3 for a $400 software package you get something illegal.
The key is only a 16 digit number. Once you find out the logic behind it you can generate them yourself, and that is exactly what they do.
I use the keys for Microsoft Servers. They register at Microsoft without problems, updates work good etc. But the keys are not legitimate. But Microsoft server is about $800, and they keys at Ebay are about $5. The temptation is simply too great.

I have to file a tax return and pay tax on any income.
I've read that this is not so. You do not have to pay tax on foreign income if the income is brought into the country in the year after you received it. So if you have dividends and keep them on a UK bank account till january the next year you do not have to pay anything.
This was how I understood it. It can be smart to get professional advice if you worry.
Apart from laws and regulations, I do not believe that the Thai tax authorities can find out how much income you receive from abroad.

But I got 5TB of OneDrive storage with mine, along with Office 2019 installation on five devices. 5TB storage on each.
Be very careful with the Office 365 you can buy on Ebay. They send you keys which are a part of educational licenses, for example from a school or university. Once the find out about this they will cancel the license. And you will lose the content on Onedrive.
Office 365 Home is cheap, about 60 Euro a year if you find a nice discount. If you care about the content you have on Onedrive I would not take the risk with a license you are not entitled to.

since a person can buy licenses dirt cheap...perfectly legal licenses
The licenses on Ebay are not legal. They work, but the licenses they sell are only the registration keys. They have software to generate these keys. Every $ they get is 100% profit for them.

150,000 baht per month for a condo !!!! must have been some sort of corporate tax write off scheme I just can't comprehend who in "their right mind" would spend such huge amounts of money to rent a condo
PS yes I can't afford to spend that much but wouldn't even if I could ????
That's a bit over 4000 Euro. It's a joke for a company that has to house an employee with his family.

I see homeless people in my soi. I see other people looking through the trash at the sides of the road at the end of the day. In the night I see people sleeping on the street. I never saw that before in the soi where I live. It's really sad to see.
Maybe there is a communication problem here?

I never understood people talking about the Thai smile and so. People in Thailand are not more friendly than most people in my home country.
In Thailand you can complain about the
inefficient way they work
being clueless about customer service (they simply do not understand it)
stupidity and lack of education
the military Junta pretending to be an elected government
ignorance of things that happen outside of Thailand
and much more
But if you smile to Thai people, and if you are friendly, they always smile back. They are usually fine people. Most people are friendly to you if you are friendly to them.

I have not gone to any place or event that charges more than a Thai and it will remain that way, until it changes.
There is not much you can do if you arrive by boat with your family and can choose between paying 200 Baht or going back with the same boat.

What do mean with "Transferwise incoming bank account"?
Transferwise changed the IBAN of client accounts from Germany to Belgium. So if you want to use Transferwise and want to use a bank transfer to fund your Transferwise account you now have to use a different IBAN.
Although this shouldn't make any difference. If you can transfer money to a German IBAN you can also transfer money to a Belgium IBAN.

was moved from Germany to Belgium and the company has problems with cross border transfers
It's only an IBAN. It really makes no difference if you pay to a German IBAN or Belgium IBAN. And you can also fund a Transferwise account with a German credit card. And I see that you can even use SOFORT to fund the account. Are you sure that the Belgium bank account is the problem?
If you have an address in Europe somewhere (or family with an address you can use) you can try to open a N26.com account remotely. You will get a German bank account + internet banking and the freedom to move money to Transferwise.

I have read somewhere that it is possible to change the dates after booking. But I would contact the hotel you want to book before booking to ask about this.

Sunday and Monday the Rayon region was almost deserted. Koh Samet was quiet also, only Thai people.
