  1. Is it worth it to pay a franchise fee for something like A...n coffee?  The brand isn't very strong. In contrast, when I see that name I will keep walking. Nescafe instant coffee tastes better...

I see several coffeeshops here, without "famous" brand who do well.

The only thing you need is knowledge and money...

Now I understand why the employees there often look demotivated and uninterested.

I would have to say its a faulty disk, where did you get it?

It must have been a museum.

The photo shows that the disk was made in June 2006. A 15 year old hdd isn't worth anything.

  3. I am very interested to hear of this is really possible (that 60 day extension).

Somewhere else on this forum I read that they don't do 30 day extensions anymore for people on tourist visa using the amnesty. While everyone thought that it would be possible if the extension wasn't used yet.

I am in a similar situation, expired 3 month visa for visiting child, now using the amnesty. I was thinking about getting an extension for 2 months after sept 26. But have doubts if this is still possible now.

    - The  GDP value people are quoted in this thread includes DOMESTIC tourism as well as International tourism. Domestic is estimated to be 50% of the value, which means anywhere from 4.5% to 9%.

The point is, please stop using 18% because domestic tourism  has not stopped.

Where did you get that number ?  I do not believe that domestic tourism is 50% of the total number.  Maybe 10%, but not 50%.

Well then the 5 star resorts will be folding up shop and the Major Hotel Chains such as Marriott and others will be going under according to your post.  That will never happen.

You know that Marriott is just a franchise formula?  A hotel with a 10% occupancy rate will not survive. The day after the hotel owner doesn't pay the Marriott franchise fee they will take the name from the wall and that's it.

The higher end locations we stayed at had about 10% or slight more customers, where when we traveled to the same locations 1 year ago they were at 80% to 90% of capacity.

Yes tourism as it was known is dead, but it's still available, just with fewer folks who can afford it.

I hope that you understand that locations with 10% occupation will not survive...
