Any other mainstream companies?
I have expat health insurance (a Dutch company, only for Dutch people). I called them and they are willing to send me a letter saying that Covid is covered. It is covered anyway, also without that letter. But they are willing to confirm this.

You don't have to be married to be able to apply for an extension based on having a Thai kid, but you must be the legal parent, have at least joint custody and have the birth certificate from amphur.
Is that really so? You can get a 3 month non-O visa with only a birth certificate, but for an extension you need to be a legal parent?

Is it worth it to pay a franchise fee for something like A...n coffee? The brand isn't very strong. In contrast, when I see that name I will keep walking. Nescafe instant coffee tastes better...
I see several coffeeshops here, without "famous" brand who do well.
The only thing you need is knowledge and money...

Now I understand why the employees there often look demotivated and uninterested.

Covid is simply a disease likely to be covered by all standard health insurance plans. I see no reason why that should be mentioned additionally.
Unless of course you need it for a visa ...

If I understood everything correctly you will have to leave.
The 2 month extension (what you already used) could give you 2 more months plus the possibility for an extra year if you meet all the demands.

So the 45000 Baht in the subject was just clickbait?

Do you believe the Thai numbers? WIth Covid in all countries around Thailand and illegal immigrants looking for work crossing the borders into Thailand it is unlikely that there is no Covid here.

For whatever reason? Maybe because most cartoonist were killed during the attack?

I would have to say its a faulty disk, where did you get it?
It must have been a museum.
The photo shows that the disk was made in June 2006. A 15 year old hdd isn't worth anything.

Presently all statistics and predictions are only guesswork.
If (IF) Farangland takes a hit of 20% GDP, and Thailand only 15%, the baht will go up.
Furthermore - not covid related - Farangland's economies are old and have used up their growing potential. Trees do not grow up into the skies. Thailand is a younger tree.....
Obviously you have not studied economics. I have rarely read so much nonsense in a few sentences.

I am very interested to hear of this is really possible (that 60 day extension).
Somewhere else on this forum I read that they don't do 30 day extensions anymore for people on tourist visa using the amnesty. While everyone thought that it would be possible if the extension wasn't used yet.
I am in a similar situation, expired 3 month visa for visiting child, now using the amnesty. I was thinking about getting an extension for 2 months after sept 26. But have doubts if this is still possible now.

- The GDP value people are quoted in this thread includes DOMESTIC tourism as well as International tourism. Domestic is estimated to be 50% of the value, which means anywhere from 4.5% to 9%.
The point is, please stop using 18% because domestic tourism has not stopped.
Where did you get that number ? I do not believe that domestic tourism is 50% of the total number. Maybe 10%, but not 50%.

Banksy is from the UK. Let that boat go there. In the UK they like immigrants very much.

Well then the 5 star resorts will be folding up shop and the Major Hotel Chains such as Marriott and others will be going under according to your post. That will never happen.
You know that Marriott is just a franchise formula? A hotel with a 10% occupancy rate will not survive. The day after the hotel owner doesn't pay the Marriott franchise fee they will take the name from the wall and that's it.

The higher end locations we stayed at had about 10% or slight more customers, where when we traveled to the same locations 1 year ago they were at 80% to 90% of capacity.
Yes tourism as it was known is dead, but it's still available, just with fewer folks who can afford it.
I hope that you understand that locations with 10% occupation will not survive...

If you are talking about the UK... The center of London is nice, but once you leave that you see the desperation, the poverty, hopelessness. Most of the UK looks like a third world country. The UK never moved on after many industries disappeared.
Fortunately there is Brexit, so they cannot blame it on others (the EU) anymore.

Forbes magazine estimate Trump's net worth at about US$2.1 billion as of 7 April 2020.
Estimate... There is a reason why he still didn't show his tax records. I estimate that he has only debts.

That is not a place you should go to. Unless you like animal cruelty. Crocodiles being swung around by their tails, filthy living conditions of the animals, Elephants being abused. Really extreme. Amazing that this place is allowed to stay open.
