OK, this isn't my area of expertise and I cant find a post I saw a while back so I'm looking for info, direction on installing a solar powered water pump system. It's for a water filtration system I'm made for my 3 fish ponds. Currently I'm running a 220v 1 hp centrifuge pump that pulls water from the lower pond about 100 ft to the filtration system. It's basically fling a 50 gallon drum and then gravity takes over to filter and return the water thru 2 additional 50 gallon drums. I could probably go smaller like 1/2 hp pump, I just happen to have the current one. It's costing me about 2400 baht a month just to run that 1 pump 24/7 so that's the reason to explore solar power. Ideas suggestions are all welcome

Thailand said it at the begining when they first gave this option and it was valid as most travel had come to halt worldwide. Currently there are only a couple countries that are restricting entry. Most complainers are just milking the system, especially with the whole land border being closed excuse. Those are just border bounces also sidestepping correct visas for the most part. Not many countries allow that type of approach in order to stay in a country

shower heater liters per min water flow questions
Dan O replied to flipper2222222's topic in DIY Forum
The main issue at hand is the restrictors are sized to handle a specific amount of flow in order to heat the water properly as they have a very small capacity tank internal. Getting a larger heater is the appropriate approach after you've determined how much flow and temp you want or need. the numbers posted as part if the test done are fairly significant already although at what temp??? You have generally a flow restrict at the base of the heater where the flex tubing connects and you may also have a flow restrictor inside the hand held shower head that can often be removed -

Thailand Pass Problem - Need help
Dan O replied to Niteowl45's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Nope just stating the facts. Your making it way harder than needed. You arrive on the 29th and the documents have to match on the booking. The hotel picks you up at the arrival day and time, it's in the package you bought. Changes to booking are free if you show the Thai Pass was rejected. Do what you want, you're just wasting your time. -

Not really. They set out the regulations for proper tracking and management on arrival. Your looking at it as a normal hotel stay which it isn't. -

No your mistaken about that. you booked the wrong date based on arrival which is what is required by the regulations, tracking and covid management. Simple fix is correct your arrival date with the hotel and confirm they will pick you up. -

Just book your hotel for the correct date of arrival. Confirm with the hotel about the early am arrival, and pick up. It's part of their package -
That's not correct. AQ and SH + hotels are were putting up the new packages yesterday. More hotels to follow. Same with insurance. Pickup at the airport and testing is included in the new packages just like the older packages. I booked insurance and hotels yesterday morning under the new plan.

Emirates health insurance accepted for OA Visa?
Dan O replied to stat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I never said it won't be accepted but there are limitations. The 1 way ticket coverage ends 48 hours after arrival at destination. -
Emirates health insurance accepted for OA Visa?
Dan O replied to stat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I'm hearing there are some limitations not listed that are being reported. Your ticket must be round-trip from what I've heard and there are limits on length of coverage and a couple people reported claims issues if the person is a "resident" of the country they are flying into if they are use its "travel insurance" so ask questions to make sure -
The new Thai Pass is not scheduled to start until Nov 1 so looking for information on usu g it doesn't exist yet. The current COE stays in place and will be honored if issued. They do need to find a workaround for the existing COE to be used for BKK plan which should be a couple days. It's going electronic and will have a QR code that can be used eventually to replace the paper. The COE will still be used in the future for some categories of entry

The Infectious Nature of Misinformaton
Dan O replied to Chomper Higgot's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
It's more accurate to say they changed their approach after being sued numerous times for make and support false information and outright lies during trumps presidency -
It's a little confusing because you say she never asks for money you just give it to her. If she doesn't ask and you just give then she doesn't have to ask. So stop giving it to her and see her reaction. Also what is she doing that is "just like a bar girl" if she doesn't ask for money, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke doesn't see other men.
