  1. And what you wrote is not accurate. The regs clearly nducate the imm officers can ask for additional documents as they deem necessary so you claiming the have to "go by the written book" clear indicates that.
  2. hahahaha, no they have the authority to request additional information as they deem necessary.
  3. You dont really know its the fan, your just guessing because its the easy guess. Since, it's an Inverter it does scroll the fan up and down in speed but also the compressor as well. Depending on the type of compressor (rotary, scrolling or 1 or the other types as there are several) used the noise may be coming from that when it reaches that speed range. It could also be a harmonic issue but that does not necessarily mean its the fan that's making the noise. The frequency of the fan or compressor running may be transmitting to triggering something else to vibrate.
  4. Swift Wire transfers are always coded correctly as international as they are direct bank to bank, with no intermediary banks like Wise may use. There isnt the same transfer limits using Swift (check with your origin bank) and the exchange rates are comparable to Wise as long as you let the receiving bank in Thailand do the currency exchanges.
  5. Oxygen doesn't explode but will accelerate an existing fire.
  6. Don't forget his multiple houses around the country
  7. Throw a long extension cord out your condo window and connect to that, problem solved for everyone
  8. I agree and if it is put into effect its gonna have an impact. I wonder if this is how they plan to cover the "free" tourist insurance and also that entry fee proposal that got shelved last year. Kind of a back door method. It certainly isn't a modest increase by any means.
  9. The US has been on that system for a couple years now but fees have not changed in years and as I mentioned there isnt any notice on the US embassy website about pending increases. Those changes by that amount are crazy
  10. I just check the Embassy site in the USA and no mention of changes in fees. Strange other than it apparently coincides with moving to the E-visa system but that shouldnt affect fees like that
  11. and you added that his post was misleading , which it was not and unnecessary for you to add that
  12. The post isn't misleading if you read what he wrote and question he asked. He said he printed it himself and got all the details and he also asked should he go to the bank instead to get the statement printout.
  13. Normal reaction in these situations until the story evaporates into thin air. Salaries and pensions stay active
  14. the way you wrote it was a bit confusing and I read the issue was with the other way. my bad
  15. Bad info from the doctor.. They only spray water from the inlet water line and don't cause any problems like posted. No different than what comes from the sink or shower.. You can get them that dispense deodorizer fragrance but it goes toward the bowl not your butt
  16. You don't need to change your passport or citizenship to be an expat but you do need to reside in the country as your permanent home. A global traveler that continually moves locations or countries isn't really an expat but more a nomad.
  17. Well it would appear that way and would be considered as such in each country other than whatever your country of origin is if you maintain a home there and passport.
  18. Wonder how many of those that fled would prior to covid and complain non stop about their country of origin, then suddenly need to flee home.
  19. Thats because they aren't expats if they only come for part of year, they are tourist
  20. I use the word junction box loosely as they are seldom done here. Its were several wires may be either connected together for a single circuit (1 power wire then split to service 2 or more lights or lights and outlets)or where two separate circuit wires are running side by side next to each other. It can be a place where you light switch are and also another power wire running thru the same box as the light switch. I had this same problem where they ran 2 power line into the box where both light switches and outlet wires were. The outlet power was bleeding into the wires for the lights.
  21. You may have a couple different issues here. The flicker in the led circle could be just a low quality bulb string. Swap it with a same bulb from somewhere else in you house and see if the current one still flickers but the swapped one works ok in the bath. It can also be caused by a loose wiring connection, I believe you said you had changed out the fixtures to these led rings. As for the continued glow after turning off the lights is due to electrical leakage in the wiring, probably a junction box causes this. It doesnt take much leakage into the line to cause this. The wiring to your bath fixture shouldn't be affected by the water heater so forget about worrying about that being the cause.
  22. Well then you need to fix your comment as thats what you wrote. Don't troll and then deny it
  23. Yes really and I stand by my statement. How many stories have you seen on here or in the news where banks wash their hands of situations like this. They are countless.
  24. Speaking of girls, it appears to be that time of the month for you. Stop trolling and have a great day
  25. It has nothing to do with a phone app causing the problem. The issue is 3rd party transactions against your acct. It can be via a "atm" transaction, debit or credit card even if you dont have a phone app or an on-line bank portal on a laptop.
