  1. I can't check right now since I am in Bangkok but the Australian government in the past restricted web sites by refusing DNS requests. To get around the restrictions you only had to change your DNS server from your local ISP to one of the public international ones. By the way, Pornhub were not restricted in Australia but they decided to no longer provide a service to Australia because of the new age restriction laws.
  2. I think you answered your question with "convenience and familiarity". Many men would be better off financially but possibly don't have the will power to go through with a seperation.
  3. That was no chick. It was a ladyboy, a guy dressed in drag.
  4. This might be a lead up to yet another GoFundMe campaign.
  5. You just described 30% of Thai women. If you don't like the one you have then move on and find another, perhaps one who is not so honest.
  6. Did your bank charge a foreign transaction fee and if it did was it significant?
  7. That's ok as long as where you go accepts cash. We went to a large franchised BBQ restaurant in Bangkok the other day and found they no longer accept cash. Their only options were either a bank transfer with your phone or a credit/debit card. I think this is the start of a trend where over time fewer places will accept cash. Even street food vendors do Q-codes now.
  8. I suppose some guys decide not to pay when they discover the girl they took back to their room was a fake. Most ladyboys are very obviously one, but I have seen a few who could easily deceive a guy after he had a few beers.
  9. If concerned Thai citizens are so worried about Pattaya's family image then why are they putting these videos online? Obviously this is free publicity of the sort they would not want. At 4am one perverted fisherman saw them. After he posted the video who knows how many thousands now know about this.
  10. I have been in Thailand this trip for more than 6 weeks without contacting family back home, but my ex-wife and kids have not tried to find me yet. Sometimes I wonder if they truly care for me.
  11. Ben would not have a snowflake's chance in hell if he came to thailand. Poor guy would never get out from under the shower. Anyway, enough internet. Time to meet my teerak in Soi 23 so she can massage my b@11s.
  12. I use NordVPN. They are a little on the pricey side but reliable, fast, and have nodes in many countries.
  13. I bought a couple of 24" Samsung monitors for my desktop computer about 15 years ago and within a week one of them developed these faint white lines across the bottom of the screen. Initially there were only 8 of them but gradually they multiplied till now there are 32. They grew by powers of 2 so probably something wrong with one of the driver chips. They start off fairly prominently on the right side of the screen and gradually fade to invisible on the left side. I contacted Samsung and since the monitor was under warranty they said they would replace it if I sent it by mail to their office in another city. I would be without monitor for about a month so I decided to live with the fault and 15 years later it is still there. It is somewhat annoying but not to the extent of me bothering to get it replaced. The other monitor which is exactly the same model and age never showed the problem.
  14. Brown envelopes are to be replaced by brown shoeboxes
  15. My wife bought one of those vacuum robot pieces of junk. Only worked for about 5 minutes before the battery ran out and it hardly picked up anything from the floor, not even worth recharging. It is faster, easier and cheaper to just use a broom every morning. The robot ended up in the recycle for someone else to have a go struggling with.
  16. Hugo Boss for Men My Thai wife bought it for me because she likes the smell.
  17. So which is it? Chonthicha or Cholticha? Could it be that her badge is correct?
  18. I have seen quite a few Thai ladies dancing on top of cars in various markets or car shows, however, I would be the last person to complain about them. 😍
  19. I think this is due to the internet. Before online forums it was hard to express one's opinion in public. The best you could do was a soapbox on a street corner or a letter to the editor. The Powers-in-Charge were not too concerned, however, since the internet arrived and people can voice their opinion to millions then that has become a big problem for the people that want to maintain control.
  20. Definition of "Mandatory".... In law, "mandatory" means required by law or rule; it is not optional. What's the point of mandatory sentences if a judge can overrule them?
  21. I have heard that putting one in the microwave also has an interesting affect.
  22. I can see a lot of prices dropping to 99 satang with 99.01 baht for shipping and handling.
  23. Only 40? Meh, just a beginner who needs more practice. A friend of mine had well over 30 during a 2 week holiday and he is not even a wealthy prince.
  24. Enough time has passed so you can tell us now. Please?
