  1. As long as it is a turbine model similar. "A lot of airplane" but you can get out of the ice/weather and don't have to worry about the power plant as much.
  2. I can't read the HS number but looks like TBM on the tail. It is "a lot of airplane" but I read quite forgiving and for somebody who has been in the game for a while. Definitely easier than the big piston twins that need to be babied
  3. Time to get with the programme. Not everyone in the English speaking world, and apparently most here do not think read and write in Americanisms. Nothing devious or underhanded about TAT's potential visa fee waiver scheme. 「From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishRelated topics: Crimescheme1 /skiːm/ ●●● S2 W1 AWL noun [countable] 1 British English an official plan that is intended to help people in some way, for example by providing education or training SYN program American English The money will be used for teacher training ...」
  4. Police told the noodle Yeah, they brought disrepute on the community by doing their best to mark the hazard Better to have a dangerous hole to challenge pregnant women, the aged and other passersby.
  5. Gormless Farangs (do not associate) Touts and peddlers with baskets entering restaurants pushing wares (ignore) Sketchy Taxi drivers (avoid as much as possible, get out the car) Healthcare ripoffs (fortunately never had to deal with it) Obstructed, uneven, unsafe sidewalks (Still fully ambulatory) So actually nothing bothers me about Thailand really except transport ripoffs, lack of proper pavements. Plus something for the future that everyone has to deal with eventually.
  6. Same. Black coffee. I might take some almond/soy/rice milk. Fo cereal also Imported cheese and ice cream OK
  7. I followed a group of Kite Boarders" to the Gulf once. Met a british lad who had opened a Kite boarding school Thai guy he trained to be a guide stole equipment, opened his own shop. The Brit guy seemed not too bothered by that he said the sport has unlimited potential in Thailand during the right wind seasons. Eventually shut down because of bent officials and officers with ever increasing monetary demands made it hardly worth it to continue. Of course there are many successful foreign owned businesses I just never had entreprenurial spirit
  8. No cheap nylon rags from China, no tattoos, no cigarettes. Doubt there was much shaving or body wax
  9. One of the best things to happen is you become successful. Then Thai copycats open up two doors down steal your parking, and grass to authorities on false grievances based on jealousy.
  10. Despite TM-30 and every other futile program Thai Immigration/police were unable to locate him until he walked into their grasp at the airport. Then they "pounced", i.e. got lucky.
  11. Rule number three.. (3) Do not open a business
  12. Nobody cares but Indopak and sad Colonial throwbacks
  13. Doubt there is anything in the lease that says the owner bears such a responsibility justifying non-payment of required rents The OP should move
  14. Why the hell do people buy this, Baking? Nasty stuff I have zero use for.
  15. The anti vax nonsense goes back years before Covid. Don’t forget his answer to gun violence is do nothing. Did he have a stroke or other major medical incident? Trump praises him and has suggested the Democrat could be a VP running mate in 2024!? Perhaps a victimMK ULTRA style mind control experiment RFK jr is definitely a cats paw for sinister right-wing interests.
  16. I remember an ice cream cone in 70s was $.25 and any chocolate bar was same. They shrunk the candy bars and more like $2.30 in USA now.
  17. Nice. I am sure I was born 20 years too late now maybe 30.
  18. That is correct. And even if you have a visa it is the IO at the point of entry who determines if you are allowed to enter or not. Better have a good excuse. Broke your leg, Typhoon cancelled flight, etc. Reads the the OP has been "offered a job". Doubt he yet has a COE (certificate of eligibility) from the MOJ let alone an yet actual visa. Best to not have overstay stamps in your passport.
  19. What was the exchange rate to $? What else could you get for 5 baht and like how much was a plate of local food?
  20. Whatever country Thai immigration allows them to fly to after they are prosecuted and get the funds required to exit immigration detention. I didn't say borders don't exist. As long as they do I just think there should be no limitation to human migration and settlement as long as people follow the rules and laws and do not become a public burden.
  21. I do not believe in borders and think people should be able to live where they want as long as they follow the rules and do not become a public burden. Here the rules are clear. Jail, deportation, and banishment in order here no sympathy at all. I have had my fill of the antics of foreign scofflaws dragging us all down
  22. "6 month" rules do not apply when entering any country one is a passport holding citizen of It is well know fact that Thai people can enter Thailand on an expired Thai passport There may be some issue transiting certain countries with an expired passport, not sure
