So Anutin when he opens his mouth only lies come out. The Government and health minister can surely take immediately actions. There is an emergency decree...But Anutin will not do anything. Yesterday a meeting with Moderna and somewhere in this month the approval.. Why?? Today he can talk with with Czar Prayuth and telephone the company to sent the vaccines, but no first an approval, than a committee than another meeting in the parliament and than approval of the FDA and somewhere next year we will get it... Action is needed quick and without delays...
These people can't even develop a vaccine on their own. Why is their FDA sticking it's nose into where it doesn't belong?

Better than nowt, I suppose.
Bet there's gonna be a Dr fee though.
And a fee for the proof of vaccination document.

What makes you think they only want Thais to register ?
To name a few things off the top of my head.
1) It's not offered in English.
2) Thai ID required.
3) No option to select for non-Thai citizens.
4) Even if you have a Thai wife/partner/friend that you can piggyback off their registration you still need a Thai ID number and can't use your passport number.

Too late for a lockdown, the virus is everywhere, due to the stupidity of people travelling for songkran, and Prayuts mob for allowing it to happen.
Prayuts mob and all the hi-so's going to the Thong lo girlie-bars to buy a lady to relieve themselves inside of ????

It should not be a problem to do the next report. Others have done one in person after doing one online and were able to do the next one online.
I think the system checks the status of reporting records kept at the local office.
Honestly I don't know what they are doing. I've had to do my last two reports in-person, and everything before that was online. I haven't changed passport or extention type either.

Eventually but apparently we're behind all Thais even if you're in high risk groups.
Such as:
Over 65
Comorbitities such as lung disease indicating asthma, diabetes, etc.
Obesity
Age 60 is not considered a high risk group.
It doesn't seem humane but it does seem nationalistic.
If they refuse vaccinate us why should we have to pay dual priced health care if we get Covid-19? Personally I refuse to pay more than Thais in this case ????????

You need to read my reply to that post.
The online record of reports has never had those done in person on it.
Yes that part I understand. My point is if the system has no knowledge of a previous or first report being done in-person once the system stands up, everyone will have to report in-person or by mail.

I think you missed the point. In order to do an online report you have to have done at least one in person first. With the update I would surmise it does not have that information loaded into yet and therefore everyone will end up getting the pop-up that says see your immigration office. That was what I was trying to say in not so many words.
Maybe they are just too stupid to put two and two together ????

When they reconfigured/updated it, it must not see yet the prior one being done in person. They must still be uploading data to it in batches.
Then it would be the same for everyone rendering the entire system just as useless as before and require all of us to go in-person or by mail.

Yes.
And i'm baffled at anyone who wants to visit an island where the taxi mafia rips you off or wants to harm you, the drinks are 4 x as expensive as the rest of the country and the locals hate you.
what is the point in going there.
???? Puke-ket! Never have and never will go there ???? There are far better places in Thailand to visit with wonderful, honest and good Thai people ????

This really angers me.
I wonder what their reasons were for refusing.. Thinking that they're above the law, or what?As a foreigner I refuse to pay for it and be treated fairly the same as Thai nationals. The Thai government signed agreements with the WTO which state equal treatment of foreigners and Thai nationals. These agreements encompass everything, they are not a la carte ????

There must be many of us who have used the on-line 90 day reporting system for many years. I really cannot understand the motive for the Immigration Beureau not repairing the system for at least two months, especially considering the risks it now imposes on reporters travelling across the city to do this in person. Yes, I know this can be done by mail, and I have resorted to this method this time. Hopefully at some time in the future I will receive my confirmation that this has gone through. As a systems analysist and programmer in a previous life I am well aware that a twelve year old could get the system up and running again with a few key strokes. Can anyone explain why this has not been done, and what are the motives for abandoning this system?
As a former IT specialist myself I couldn't agree with you more!!!

I've seen worse done by the local population drunk or sober. So what's your point?

Well being full is one issue but as for being satisfied it appears that most Thai men are only interested in their own satisfaction and not of their partners, basically selfish little dicks.
That explains why it's hard to find XL size condoms. I can only find them at Watsons.

Of course it did and possibly it was after the Vietnam war had finished and US and other Farang personnel started leaving, that the Thai ladies realised there were better things to satisfy themselves with other than Thai men.
From what I have been told by some of the local women is that the local men are rather small in regards to length and girth.

Why wouldn't you just use the estimate provided by Social Security itself ? Which by the way is 100% accurate
Yes I agree. I received my first SS retirement benefit this month and it was exactly as stated on the SSA website.

I would like to see information about when, where, and how American expats here in Thailand can get vaccinated. Is there any program for us through the Embassy? Are we expected to wait around and wait for the Thai government to give us any thought? What type of vaccine can we get? There are many of us, (I'm in Pattaya) that would like to see that our government is engaging Thailands government on our behalf.
Don't count on "our absolutely useless embassy or country" to do jack squat for any of us ????

The British Council vaccinated all their Bangkok staff yesterday, both Thai and non-Thai, presumably imported from the UK.
I'm sure the same has happened at my A-hole embassy as well but nothing is being done for their citizens either. It just angers me beyond belief that my country recently donated $410,000 dollars worth of medical equipment to fight Covid-19 this 3rd world ???? hole and no-one does anything for our protection ????

There have been flights coming and going from the UK for the last year. Pilots, crew, cargo staff, diplomatic staff, repatriated Thais, tourists doing ASQ etc etc . Same as above for people from Europe who will have been in contact with the UK variant.
It’s impossible to stop the virus. No matter how many masks people wear or how many bars are closed.
Thais would realize this if they actually thought about it.
Thinking for themselves is not in their wheelhouse.

BTW I'm filing for SS next week. Yep. That is why I looked in. However as I worked os for a long time, I will qualify with over 40 credits but little more. its going to be nothing except beer & pizza money for me. As such I will get the beer & pizzas started at 62. No reason not to.
I would not think debasement of the dollar that relevant or realistic as such if you are trying to maximize, yes wait until later to take your payments at sixty five.
I'm taking mine at 62 but be prepared for OEIO to take a long time to process your application. I applied on November 6th 2020 and I'm still waiting...

So YOU need to provide a printout of information from THEIR records, otherwise they can't possibly extend your stay. I'm glad that makes sense to them.
There's absolutely no need for us to keep any of this ???? but they know there's always the possibility we might lose something and they can use it as an excuse to toss our salad. I had gone in for my 90 day report a couple years ago and TM6 number was entered by them in the computer incorrectly. The IO actually yelled at me for their mistake, and much to his surprise (living up to the stereotype of my being an American) I yelled back at him twice as loud telling him I wanted to very the information that he entered to make sure it was correct ????

Help and Advice on the Road to Thai Citizenship
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
My question is... Seriously, what does anyone have to gain (or what advantage is there) by becoming a Thai citizen?
