I get charged 20 baht for the copy of the current page of the passbook, too. The cost of the bank statements/letter went from 200 to 300 this year.

Words fail me. Anutin denies everything. This guy says we will not open on 15th, Tourism Ministry says we will. Does anyone in Government know what the <deleted> is happening? This just compounds the ridiculous situation over expat vaccinations, as well. Registered early August. <deleted> all heard except thanks for the info.... Well, words didn't fail me after all.. Must have been someone else who said that...

Was it Expatvac or not ? I'm on a list ! Koh Chang
Scott Tracy replied to brianthainess's topic in Health and Medicine
Probably was off shift and working at his private clinic... -
Serious side effects, which may or may not be directly attributable to the vaccine, or combination of vaccines. How many delivered? What percentage of vaccinated are affected? Seems to me to be quite a high number, but the percentage will tell better. How come this seems not to have been reported elsewhere in the world?

A user’s guide to Thailand’s new digital health pass
Scott Tracy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Me too, but I was told to go to a vaccination centre by the poo Yai Bahn on a day where vaccinations were being offered to foreigners. Records showed I was registered and thus had my first jab that day. Still nothing on the expatvac registration or appointment of having had my first jab. Neal of rubbish. -

Life in Thailand possible without the Vaccine?

In my view...no, and nor should you even think about it. Better to eat the lead bullets where you are. -
SURVEY: Wasuthon--Stay in Denmark or return him to Thailand?
Scott Tracy replied to Scott's topic in Thailand News
From what I read, the adoption is legal in Thailand, but not in Denmark. Harsh from the Danish authorities, in my opinion. Who do they think is his guardian under Danish law? His biological mother? His grandparents? Under Thai law, his aunt is his mother. Imagine, if you will, a marriage taken place in Thailand, not recognised elsewhere. No legal recourse. This is the same. Pick and choose what to recognise. Oh no, the adoption is not legal in Denmark, off you go. As far as I can see, the aunt violated no Thai law when she adopted the boy. She may not have been aware that the Danish authorities did not recognise the adoption, until he arrived in Denmark and was refused entry. Why was he not refused entry? Why doesn't the Danish husband adopt the boy under Danish law? -
Cambodia, U.S. laud bilateral military cooperation
Scott Tracy replied to geovalin's topic in Cambodia News
Except of course when the Cambodian military knock down US military funded bases and buildings...possibly at the Chinese military's behest.... -
Stopping distance in a normal car is 96meters at 70mph, that's 112 kph. Hitting a blind corner at speeds like that is asking for trouble. I have to admit though, some of bends on some of the roads in Thailand are damn sharp, and having railway crossings within 200 meters of a bend of this sort is not sensible.

Wasuthon is being deported back to Thailand by Danish authorities
Scott Tracy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Deported means expelled. He has been expelled. He may not have been cleanly put on a plane yet, but that may come. You were given notice to leave...that's the same as expulsion, deportation. Had you not left before the stated deadline, you too would have been accompanied by at least 2 burly AFP types onto a flight. He must cut this to 30%. Too much morale...
