  1. Hi guys, i am looking at the bkk airport webpage and im not sure which bus i will be taking.

i wish to take the bus out from the airport suvarnabhumi, to either town (sukhumvit) or near ratchada area (whichever is nearer or fastest)

as im not very familiar with the road naming listed on the webpage, i dont know which 1 i should be taking.

preferbly till somewhere near the MRT subway stations.

  2. You should be able to set up your connection to the outside line in your modem settings:

thanks cdnvic, i will try it out!

If the number to dial is 0276753992

and you need to dial 9 to get an outside line then try using this 9,0276753992 or 9,,0276753992 or 9,,,0276753992

Each comma adds a time delay to allow for the outside line to connect. By the way you don't

need to wait for the dial tone.

Can you hear the modem 'dialing' ?

    Naka.

Yes naka, i hear the modem dialing, and after a while, it hangs up and the computor tells me it was unsuccessful as there was 1) no dialtone 2) cannot establish a connection.

  3. Hi guys, i need help here.

i recently bought a 50hour internet timecard and i have my username, password and modem number, im pretty sure i entered all correctly.

    now here's the problem, i cant get a dial-tone.

    1) i live in a rented apartment so im using thier foneline.

    2) my apartment fone needs to press 9 before i can dial out

i tried entering the modem number as it is (02xxxxxxx) and also tried it this way (902xxxxxxx) none works.

    any help here?

  4. hi people, might be irrelevent to the topic but dont wish to open yet another thread just for this question.

I am using a Nokia E65 , and i was wondering if there's any thai software that can enable my mobile to read thai text? i am not in thailand now so i cant pop into MBK to get it done..

  5. my gf whom is a burmese citizen got rejected her thai tourist visa TWICE because they mentioned that she had many extentions before, but those stamps were dated 1 year back.

she recently had a new passport made (legally.. just incase someone shoots thier mouth off) and is currently on her way to yangon to apply for her thai touriist visa.

Not sure if it will be approved.. but will update.

  6. i am looking at hopefully 5x a week modules. and im not sure which school is best for such a course, i would wish to learn to speak thai and read (hopefully write)

i do speak minimum thai, i can do phrases but in full conversations i fumble up. so i would like to learn to have a decent conversation and since i dont work, i wish to fill up most times in my week in studying.

  7. Hello guys, i am looking for a school to learn how to speak and write thai in bangkok, however most schools only have lessons 2-3x a week, i am looking for a fulltime like more lessons in a week so i can learn to speak and write in a shorter period of time.

does any one know of any school to recommand???

  8. i always choose Air Asia.

why? because its cheap and there are 4 flights a day to choose from.

Plus even if you are not the person travelling they will still let you book online using your credit card, something which most other airlines I have tried do not allow.

totally agreed, only drawback for budgetairlines is they have really small aircrafts and for those westerners with really long legs, 2 hours flight might be a terrible time to pass, however, you could still request (although it's free seating) for a seat right behind the emergency exit, so you can stretch your legs out.

    other then that, airasia's perfect
