  1. It seems you're the one who's not up on what weed does. Those symptoms are about making one sick to thew stomach, which I've never seen happen in myself nor any of the hundreds of people I knew who smoked. Weed does calm people. I've also never seen anyone get violent using just weed. Alcohol and speed, yes. People who are against weed and who have never tried it have no idea how it affects people, and reading biased propaganda doesn't help.
  2. I meant Villa won't deliver to me here. Too far for them.
  3. Looked it up, in Chiang Mai. How far do they deliver? Some things I can't get where I live, like Villa. I used to buy all different brands of sugar free, fat free ice creams and ices, yogurts in Texas. Miss them because they're low calorie and taste great.
  4. I still need to contact SS to make sure I can transfer my existing account to the new one. Manila is hard to communicate with. You send an email and they take weeks to reply. Holiday Monday so I'm thinking it might come Tuesday but still strange only one came and the other didn't.
  5. I've had a couple Mango flavored ice creams when I first moved here 7 years ago, I don't eat sugar much but tried them and they were good. Can't think of the brand. I sure would try melon flavor. I wish they had more sugar free ice creams and ices here.
  6. I received my daughter's at 14;00. Mine still hasn't come so somethings wrong. Need to contact them because they're both on the same account. We needed to change to Login.gov and I was in the process, so wondered why one came and the other didn't. I figure it should have been neither or both.
  7. First you need to have an actual level of care for most of the animals in this country. There are some that do, but quite a lot that treat animals very poorly, poison them, and let them attack people with little consequences.
  8. What's strange is that I receive 2 Social Security payments, one for myself and one for my child, and only one came today. The first time in over 6 years.
  9. Actually, they're very similar. Paved with asphalt, some logical and some strange in their setups. The only difference is driving on the other side of the road in the US. Oh yes, and much better drivers.
  10. Yes, one's in Thai and the other's in English. I've actually been to many Thai restaurants in the US, as well as here .
  11. It's not trump, we all had to switch our accounts to a new Login.gov for security reasons.
  12. With all the talk about what's going on in the Social Security world, has anyone had any problems yet? Also, has anyone received theirs today who had the 3rd as their pay date? I called my bank and they said no transfer today, although it's supposed to come in on Friday if your date occurs on a weekend. He said it still could come today, although it's never been this late 13:00, and if not, it would come on Tuesday , as Monday is a Thai holiday.
  13. The only way you could make such a comment is if you visited all 50 states, along with a few major cities in each one, and then hit all the Thai restaurants offered. This would be very hard form an American citizen to do in a lifetime, unless he was a traveling food critic. I myself have been to Thai restaurants in a few states, along with the major cities in each, mostly in Texas and New Jersey/ New York area, and have eaten Thai many times in many places, and the food there is as good or better than food here, and that's mainly because most of the Thai chefs in those restaurants were from Thailand. Thailand culture exists in most states, and especially in many major cities. There's over 200,000 Thai's living in the US, with numbers increasing every year, and they, like all Asians, bring their culture with them, along with their cooking skills.
  14. They're actually very alike, as the western ones have owners and employees that are from Bangkok, along with many other Thai cities. The only thing different is the price of food.
  15. Actually most Thai restaurants have people from Thailand that cook the food the same way they prepared it when they lived in Thailand. The only difference is the quality control the US has, where you aren't getting food that sits out all day exposed to bacteria, and they make food from al over Thailand, as they are from all over Thailand. 6 restaurants in San Antonio alone have people from 6 different areas in Thailand. Two from Isaan, one from Korat and another from Nong Khai, one from northern Thailand, one from the Pattaya area and another two from the south. Lan Larb Chaing Mai in NYC makes northern Thai food. If you lived there, then you would understand what the US has.
  16. Nor would a supposed adult call people names like a teenager, assume they actually know anyone here on this forum, be prejudiced against people who have actually raised children when you haven't, and keep responding with just a few words because they haven't the knowledge to discuss things without trolling just for the sake of arguing.I explained why I'm still here. If you don't understand the concept, don't answer.
  17. You're just like a couple others here who haven't the sense to not assume things. Fact is, I do have foreign and Thai friends here,as well as a Thai girlfriend of over 4 years. But like those few others ignorant of their actions, keep assuming. And truth be known, I'm thinking most here don't want to see your constant Trump hero worship, which is something you can't resist bringing into almost every topic.Obsessive compulsive disorder. Look it up.
  18. Who cares about winning here? That's a teenager's response. This isn't a competition. And again you're answering for everyone. You can't answer for anyone besides yourself, and again, if someone bores you, educate yourself more or don't respond. It's very easy not to reply.
  19. Because you have never been there, or your visits were so limited that you didn't spend the time to discover what the US has to offer.
  20. Calling someone obviously a lot more intelligent than you an idiot doesn't look good for you, and it's also against forum rules. You're a lazy responder, answering in a few words just to keep an argument going, with little explanation why. If you don't have the knowledge on a particular subject, just stay out of the discussion, so you don't make yourself look like a fool or a troller. Calling a parent a loser also makes you look ignorant, as being a parent to that child is my passion and my responsibility. That I fathered a child at 60 has nothing to do with you so any comment you make shows instability or ignorance. I'm thinking you don't have any children so that would be a reason you don't understand. If you do have children and make such a comment, it shows also a lack of knowledge and understanding of what makes real parenting and I feel sorry for any children you would raise to be as disrespectful as you have proven to be. The only people I'm boring to are those that don't understand what I say, or disagree with me because they aren't a good parent themselves. If someone bores you, don't reply to them.
  21. Actually I'm likely a lot more intelligent than you, especially seeing from the content you post time after time. No explanations but short argumentative lines. And I'm 68. If I'm boring you, don't answer for others and don't bother replying. You only reply to get a rise out of people, which shows a lack of restraint, and that itself is getting old.
  22. Also, this is about Thai foods and the quality worldwide, and how Bangkok is expat friendly, not about me. By the way, here's your Curry paste, available in Idaho, and you can make Thai food anywhere just as good as here, as long as you have the proper ingredients and learn from a proper chef...........https://importfood.com/item/hunglay-curry-paste
