They have a quota system whereby they let in some. Those that fly there and expect to get off the plane to work usually get sent back. My ex tried to go, asking the Korean embassy here and they refused her.

Being kind to any living creature is what you do. Only a narcissists or abusive person has to control others by abuse. You can be the boss if you start early and set the rules. A dog that's treated well will want to please it's owner. Being stern doesn't mean being cruel. Cruel is exactly what the word means. I've had dogs all of my life and rarely felt the need to hit any of them, and they never attacked anyone else, let alone me. The same with my children. I can count on one hand all the times I thought I had to hit all 6 of them, the last 4 never hit at all, and it made me feel worse then they did, as it wasn't abusive. They all grew up respectful of others and animals.

Not bad but dangerous. Any dog can bite but these breeds can cause massive damage very fast to anyone, let alone a child or elderly person. I'm a dog lover and have seen many of these dogs act gentle and loving. They might not ever do anything wrong against a person, but every year a dog that's owned by a person who's taken care of them in a loving way has attacked, seemingly without provocation. A dog looks at us like another dog in ways, and what's not aggressive behavior to us might be to a dog. My uncle had a Doberman from a pup. It broke it's leg and he waited on it hand and foot until it recovered. If you dropped anything on the floor, it was his, period. I didn't know this until he told me after I bent down to pick up something she was playing with. Luckily I was very young and not perceived as a threat because the same day I saw him go after others in an aggressive manner. He spoiled that dog until it felt it was in charge. These dogs should only be used for military and police activities. No one with small children should ever have them as a pet, even though we see many instances of these breeds acting okay with kids. Isn't worth the risk as there are many other breeds.

Swedish Man Scammed by Thai Woman, Loses Over 300,000 Baht
fredwiggy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Actually about 1 million move there and get green cards a year. The tourists far outnumber this. Over 65 million last year alone. The US, again, has everything anyone could want from any country worldwide, and every country has violence, including this one where most of it you'll never hear about unless you research. Thinking your safer here more than back there is wrong thinking. Attacks on innocents happen here daily, and a lot are against foreigners. You only see a fraction of what goes on here. -

Just like I said to him. You can't generalize about anywhere because what you see is usually only in the big cities and in certain areas. There are poor people by the billions worldwide in every country. Most people are just getting by no matter how many rich there happen to be. All countries have sick places, mainly because of the rich and powerful only caring about themselves and their friends. Money is put towards the military when it's needed in many other places. People look for votes in many crazy ways. As long as they get elected, they'll promise anything and even make laws trying to show they care. -
Swedish Man Scammed by Thai Woman, Loses Over 300,000 Baht

Actually a lot of men fall for women because of their looks, and lose their heads, at least temporarily. The women who do this are scum of the earth, and it's not surprising when some disappear or are found beaten or dead somewhere. The more this happens, the more it gets around, the more victims there will be on both sides. -

And your point is? Take away the signs and you have a street in any country worldwide. -
Swedish Man Scammed by Thai Woman, Loses Over 300,000 Baht

I hear about this a lot , both from my girlfriend and others. She has a friend who told her she was getting 80,000 baht a month from a guy in Belgium. This girl has 2 kds. One from a Thai and another from a foreigner, and she has different men every day at her coffee shop close to my girlfriends house. I explained to my gf that she's a bullsh*ter, that 80K is more than many men make a month, let alone can afford to give away to someone they've never met. Of course he stopped his gifts to her, probably realizing what she's about. -
Any real men in this generation
fredwiggy replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
A man is a real man when he makes all people comfortable in his presence. He doesn't look down on anyone, especially women. He lends a hand when he can, and defends his family any way he can. He isn't prejudiced or racist. Whatever knowledge he has he uses to help and not to hurt or destroy what others have built. He doesn't allow anyone to take advantage of others if there's anything he can do about it. He doesn't cheat on his partner for any reason. It doesn't matter what he looks like, how he dresses, how many tattoos he has or how he speaks, as long as he acts like the former around others. -
"Devastated, the family has since decided to seek new homes for the dogs." That statement alone shows the lack of concern for life here.

Not treating women well will come back to haunt you eventually, or you'll have to resort to paying for sex forever. -

Not much after I posted the power went out again. This time for 2 1/2 hours. -
Best Way To Maintain A Healthy Sex Life As You Age?

The question was the best way to maintain a healthy sex life as you age. Simple. You either do what a lot here do and pay for it, whereby cash is all you need to satisfy your urges, or you take good care of yourself and know how to listen to and treat women well. -

Worst power company I've ever known about. In 6 years, the power goes out almost daily for a few seconds. No reason this should happen. Most every week, the power goes off for a couple hours. Low power happens every couple of months, where half the house has power and the other doesn't. I've talked to PEA a few times and they've said they will look into it but they don't.I understand from my ex wife's family here, that this has been going on for years before I moved here. Back in Texas, the power went out maybe 3 times a year, always during storms, and never for a few seconds almost daily. Obviously they don't know how to regulate power here , nor how to maintain the system, at least here in Sisaket province south. -
Healthy home-cooked food in a remote location
fredwiggy replied to simon43's topic in General Topics
Eggs here stay fresh longer than in other countries but I still refrigerate mine. They last until I use them anyway. You can freeze chicken but it can still freezer burn if not vacuum sealed. The same with fish, and you can get canned fish here to make casseroles with pasta or rice. I cook 90% of what I eat at home, the rest my girlfriend cooks on weekends. I eat oatmeal everyday, along with other cereals when I bring them back from visiting the US. You can buy some healthy ones here but you'll have to order online or drive. You can buy fresh veggies about anywhere in Thailand, and if you have a crisper in the fridge they'll keep awhile, so cooking them daily is easy. Stir frying is okay if you use a non stick pan with a touch of oil for taste. You can eat Thai style and healthy f you just don't add too much sweet sauces or oil and sugar to what you cook. There are countless ideas online for stir frying food. Again, you can order many things foreign here online at Tops, Villa, Paleo Robbie and others. -
Age is cruel to everyone, even if you spend a lifetime taking good care of yourself. Women always look at themselves as less than they are (besides the narcissists), and men tend to over exaggerate what they are and how they look. They're only kidding themselves, as everyone gets old and gray in time. A man with money can have a lot of beautiful women, but that's the reason they're with him unless he's also again, been taking very good care of himself all his years.

Your Experience: Are Thai Women smarter than Thai Men?
fredwiggy replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I've heard about it since I was a pre teen. There are many writings about it and I'll provide a link for one. It's long, but explains a lot..........https://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation?paperid=75673 -
For the ones in the know. I'll be visiting the US November 5 to December 5. My 90 day expires December 1. I'm guessing since I'll be getting my visa stamped showing when I left and when I return, the 90 day expiring won't matter because I'll be out of the country until a few days after it does. Has anyone had this to deal with? I could ask an agent friend to send me the 90 day to where I'll be staying in the US so I'll have it when I fly back to Thailand December 5 if immigration would give me any problem. I'm assuming that since I won't be here that getting the visa stamped on return is starting the 90 day period again.

You personally know 42 American teachers? I highly doubt that and all are weirdos? How are they weirdos? If you know them all as weirdos, does that mean they are in your social circle or are you saying this because others have told you they are weirdos and you take their opinions as fact?
