  1. What is the domestic violence rate in Thailand? Physical harm accounted for 22%, followed by suicides at 14%, sexual violence at 8.1%, and other forms of abuse at 3.5%. These findings reveal a troubling inclination towards severe violence within Thai families, a matter that the nation should address with urgency.Oct 5, 2566 BE
  2. Remember how you say I and others are somehow missing your point in some of your posts? Well, you missed my point here.
  3. 6 of 1, a half dozen of another.
  4. That's how many people the average 73 year old meets in a lifetime.
  5. I see you, among others that post here, think they know what "most" farangs do. You do realize how many farangs there are in the world right? How many do you really actually know? My guess would be far below what the average do by the time they are 73, which is 80,000. Since you are 50, I would guess maybe 55,000. And meeting them isn't knowing them, at least as far as their foreign language vocabulary. This is out of a population of maybe 4 billion non Asians worldwide. This means those 55,000 are but 0.001375% of that population, but you'll have to subtract most of those because you again, don't know them well enough to know what languages they might speak. So, wouldn't you say that you don't really know what most farangs do?
  6. I have disagreed with you at times, but here you're right on. Having knowledge of other countries is definitely a plus, as you can't really know a people unless you've lived amongst them.
  7. I for one have no jealousy of those that are doing better. That's a goal to reach, nd when you have children, it's mandatory to do the best you can for them. There is always a way out.
  8. Being a step parent is far from a joke. It might be the only male role model these kids will have, and having a father figure is a lot more important that many realize, especially for girls that need to grow up seeing their moms treated well, so they can find the same in a partner. Boys need to learn how to treat women from a good male role model, as their peers are mostly clueless, especially in a country like this with so many absent fathers and children that are raised by grandma. Your last sentence is the first one that actually makes sense.
  9. Thank God for the children that weren't made.
  10. And you don't realize that those "men" who have mi noi's aren't men but boys that haven't grown up enough to recognize the value of a woman? That they have children and don't do much if anything at all as far as teaching them the same values? Brainwashed by treating women right? As in feminism. Do you not understand woman's equality? What's tragic is that you actually believe your own bulls*it. And sadly, some others here do also. As far as Thai males thinking those that take care of children are jokes, it's them that are the real jokes. A man that doesn't lend a hand to help raise his own children is a complete wasted life. A woman cannot make a man out of a boy, and an absent father can't either. One reason so many treat women like they're some kind of inferior object is not having fathers that were men. They leaned it from their own useless fathers and generations here are affected by this illness. Women make the worse mistake of their lives having sex with these losers, and their kids suffer because of it.
  11. I met one online, a doctor, and came here to meet her. She told me to stay in a certain hotel, and guess who worked there? You look at a women that's very pretty, and speaks English also, and sometimes things happen. I should have stayed with the original girl. My mistake, but I created a beautiful child, and she's why I'm still here, until we can leave that is.
  12. And you are? Wait, you don't care either way, as long as you get yours right? I'm what's called an empath, meaning I care, and that gets you in trouble when you put your trust in women that turn out to be narcissists or very damaged in childhood.
  13. Along with the thousands that are still married, and working in restaurants they opened with their husband's help. I know of 7 personally in the San Antonio area who own restaurants that are doing extremely well. I've talked with many, both men and women, and they've told me they will never move back here because of the better living conditions in the US. There are some that might have scammed men into moving there and because prostitutes or just weren't good wives then were dumped, so they had to make do. Hard to tell if you don't actually know people personally, as most don't.
  14. Nothing to do with the little head but trusting the wrong woman. It wasn't a scam. She still lives in the same village but I'm in the house because I paid 100% for it. She wants to come back but I have no interest because when trust is gone, so am I.
  15. Obesity is catching up fast here for exactly that reason, and there are hundreds of thousands of great restaurants with food from all corners of the world there. Another thing you won't know unless you visit, or live there.
  16. I left to build a house for my now ex and our daughter. Being used, along with lied to etc, is why I'll be leaving asap with my daughter. I made a mistake moving here but she didn't want to leave her family, most of whom she can't stand.
  17. Better life, more opportunities, better pay, more things to do, treated better by men, not looked at as inferior. I never contradict myself.
  18. No one is used unless they allow this themselves. You've never been married, so how can you comment on what a relationship more than a few weeks means?
  19. You sound a lot ignorant, or you've never actually been to America, much less lived there for 62 years like i did. It isn't all millionaires. That's what Thais think. Wrong. Most people are just getting bay there also. It has great food, more variety of food, great beaches, mountains, lakes, resorts and a lot more to do than sitting inside hiding from the heat and sun. It's cheaper here, and that's about it. Isaan is about the most boring place on earth, and that takes in lot of Thailand. Yes, there are good things here, but a multitude more in the US.
  20. How many Thai women are actually happily married? In case you don't know a simple fact, most women will never know a true, real love in their lives, and almost no one will get it twice. Thai women do prefer their own kind, as shows in marriage statistics, but they aren't happy like you think they are. The Thai divorce rate has been climbing yearly, almost to 45% now. This means a lot stay unhappy also, just like everywhere else. A good man can understand any women if he wants to, even with the language barrier. Marrying someone that speaks none of your language isn't a smart idea, but anyone can learn if they want, although it is a barrier to a relationship, seeing communication is one of the most important things. It's true that most Thai men don't single women in bars. It's also true most Thai men don't want anyone who's had kids before them. Farangs are okay with this, as we think differently about children than they do here.
  21. Thai men left them because they could. The justice system doesn't make them pay for the children they make. Buddhists religion looks at women as inferior, something the men take to heart, especially if they've learned this false thinking all their lives. I never liked barmaids, preferring to find women (2) here in Isaan that were normal workers. They both worked, one in a hotel and the other in a tesaban. You, like you said, like to move on after you're had your fill, not wanting to get to know them better as humans but only using them for their bodies. I prefer a relationship that grows, and hopefully lasts.
  22. What's better? Anything they have here all other countries have, without the death rate on the roads, the inferiority thinking of women, climates where it doesn't rain for 5 months straight then dry for 5. What's to enjoy in Isaan besides drinking? The beaches are nice if you live near them, but that's also most everywhere that has beaches.
  23. I myself watch daily news, from here and all over the world, and my girlfriend does translate to me the daily Thai news . She also tells me how the men are here, what her girlfriends say, what her three girlfriends tell her about the US and Sweden, where they moved. She tells me how her friends here are treated, both by the locals and some by farangs. Look at the lakorns and you'll see a lot of what goes on here towards women, without the heroes installed in the shows.
  24. Yes, some do, and to live a better lifestyle.
  25. I'm for helping out decent women, and if you prefer to call it rescuing, so be it, because that's pretty much what we are doing if we're taking better care of them than they previously knew. And I'm thinking you don't know a thing about the US besides the bad news you hear, from not even going there. Facts are, almost all of the Thais that move there, and it's quite a lot, never come back here. There are reasons for that, and it's not all about money.
