    Yes 5GB, sorry.

Yes, more than I wanted to pay but I have no idea if 6 or 15 is enough, initially I was going for the AIS with 100 GB max but I didn't really understand it.

Unless you are streaming Full HD video or downloading/uploading large files, 6 Mbps would likely have been enough for your described usage.

People usually want higher speeds for media; e.g video in 4k resolution.

15 Mbps is likely more than you need. Not that it matters, beyond you paying a little more. But yes, the 1200 baht option would have suited your purpose.

To put the 100 GB thing in perspective....Imagine that a good quality Full HD movie is 3 GB; using the 15 Mbps AIS Marathon, you would be able to watch one movie a day and nothing else. But you could download the movie in twenty seven minutes.

With an unlimited 6 Mbps connection, it would take sixty seven minutes to download the movie, but you could download twenty movies in a twenty four hour period.

Better for GPS maps as you don't have to be concerned about running out of data with a fixed limit. Not that you likely would, given your description of your usage.

I guess there may still be the option to cancel and re-order if you don't want to spend that much on an occasional use SIM.

As an aside, AIS also have a six month option of unlimited 8 Mbps and unlimited in-network calls for 950 baht.

Blackberry, greenberry, green crack, squirral tail, thai stick etc.

It's all the same....From brick weed with some very clever marketing to think that you are buying a quality budd.

Sorry to say after trying many new names to the market that all are rubbish and not worth smoking but I will say that they are OK as a mixer of 5 to 1.

I myself bought from Prikpot some 6 weeks ago.

Ordered 4 different strains....Blue og, Silky delight, Giga bud and Strawberry kush.

All I can say is try the cheap brick and then buy a little from Prikpot to try.

    Prikpot has amazing budd...!!!!

    My go to shop..!!!!

A ridiculous post and a ridiculous allegation.

I paid the extra for True because my home package that gave me 5 MBPS free on my mobile was True and worked perfectly everywhere whereas I've never tried DTAC. Just about every bar and restaurant has free wifi so it's only really on the beach where I can't connect or if I have to go somewhere in the car and need GPS.

    *5 GB.

Understood ????  Though better to have your own connection than to depend on free WiFi.

Was just surprised that you went for the most expensive option for occasional use. Not that 50 baht per month is a huge difference. Possibly worth it for the jump from 6 Mbps to 15 Mbps.

Just ordered the True Thor 15MBPS unlimited for 1790 on Shoppee.

    Thanks Bruno and other posters.

Was it the True ID Ultimate package that pushed you to spend 400 baht more over the DTAC offer? ????

Not that it would make any difference to you, but DTAC offer 30 Mbps at a lower price than Truemove H 15 Mbps.

Personally I would have tested the network locally before springing for a 12 month SIM, but that's just the way I would do it.

I misspoke. 490/kg doesn't sound too cheap for genuine butter, but 195 baht/kg doesn't sound right. Based on what you wrote, maybe worgeordie meant 195 for one pound (454 g). By the way, got a feeling that 195 baht/half kg price you quoted might be going up in the near future, as that price is in line with old quarter kilo price (103-118 baht for 227 grams).

Perhaps, but in fact, they recently were selling '2 for the price of 1'.

I have a good stock of butter and cheese currently. Just tucked in a Vintage Somerset crunchy.

What brand? Even at 490 baht/kg sounds too cheap to be 100% genuine butter.

I've been paying in the range of 103 - 118 for Anchor 227 grams. Saw it recently at local Lotus's for something like 165 baht for 227 grams, but didn't buy it.

    @Denim

Familiar with the brand, but never tried it, but the word "Product" in the product name is sure fire tip off not pure butter

Imperial Unsalted Butter Blend - KCG Corporation

Anchor; 195 baht for the pound block at a local supermarket.

You really need to get out more, Bruno. Will they let you out? And I've been up since 5am, my old mate! ????????????????????

This forum is for members to share views. We don't all drive the same car, drink the same beer or bang the same bar girl or boy, so we all have slightly different lives, tastes, needs and opinions.

The transition from butter to cheese is (in my opinion) more 'extreme' as one cheese brand to another. Forgive me if you read my post as claiming the prices & sizes of Cathedral were identical to Mainland.

I bought 500g Mainland and (from internet research that you appear to love) I show evidence of it being available in 250g portions.

I just gave my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE of buying a large portion of cheese for a much-better 'Baht/gram ratio' compared to its smaller brother (can I say that, or is cheese gender neutral?) in my local franchised shops.

If you'd like to escort me to my local Tops, Villa and Makro we can check together. Maybe along the way we can hold hands, and chat about other important things in life like quantum physics or religion.

Then perhaps you go up too early and are a bit tired.

Cheese was mentioned in the second post of the thread and the OP gave a positive response to it. That told me cheese is ok to be mentioned.

You quoted that second post mentioning Cathedral cheese; 350 grams for 209 baht, saying that the Makro Mainland cheese was almost double the weight. That was clearly wrong and you are simply wasting your time and mine trying to defend it.

Now you are modifying your statement to "a better baht/gram ratio" whilst still pretending that you didn't get it wrong in the first place.

Is it so hard to admit that you made a mistake?

Where does one find these large blocks of Mainland cheese, I seem to remember someone mentioning Makro but my local Makro doesn’t stock it.
Best I have is Big C with the Tasty , Mature Cheddar and Vintage varieties  but at 209 baht for 250 gr I feel i am missing out !!

Order online ???? You can find Mainland Vintage 500 grams for 259 baht. In-store cheaper.

This is getting a bit tiresome. ????

    - I bought the cheese that I took a picture of IN MAKRO. And I just had some for lunch. ????

    - This thread is about butter, as you pointed out to another member, so maybe we're both breaking your thread rules. ????

    - Various sizes of smaller portions are available in Thailand, including 250g. Now, the last time I picked up a calculator or abacus, 500 was exactly double 250, not even 'almost.' You have no idea what smaller size I'm comparing to, or what price I paid for either that or the larger one.

Have a great day, Sherlock. ????????????

Perhaps it's a bit too early for you....

You replied to a post mentioning Cathedral cheese; 209 baht for 350 grams. You compared it to Mainland Vintage cheese; 269 baht for 470 grams. That's a 120 gram differential. it would need to be 700 grams to be double.

I have no idea why you have posted a 250 gram block of Mainland cheese. Do you?

Since cheese was mentioned in the second post of this thread and was the post to which you replied, it seems cheese is okay to be included.

Well, if we are being pedantic, please remember to quote my word 'almost' and research properly

Even if you were correct(you are not), it's still nowhere close to 'almost double' and 60 baht is not a wee bit more. I don't need to research properly(but I did); you are making the claim, so back it up with facts.

Mainland Vintage from Makro is 470 grams: https://www.makroclick.com/en/products/847416-mainland-vintage-cheese-470-g/

If you don't mind slumming it and swallowing your pride , 227 grams of Imperial Butter ( unsalted ) from Big C in free plastic sealed box ........... 75 baht. Not a butter person so tastes OK to me.

Ridiculous. It's not even butter. Why not just link to margarine? This thread concerns butter.
