Anyway, hopefully I have it right and the OP's return flight is intact. ????

Not "point to point" if sold as a return under the same locator (PNR} ,
Do you think they are going to issue two separate PNR for this booking?

Yes I can, I fly almost every 2 weeks and have had the issue various times. Clearly you do not, else you wouldn't say this.
With a low cost airline? Which and what was the issue? Please don't make up stories.

Seems you keep posting that everywhere, while having very little knowledge yourself. What he writes actually does occur when it is checked in as 1 flight, you do not get a new boarding pass or separate checkin for that during a few hour transit.
I have enough knowledge to post on subjects that I actually understand. Can you say the same?

Wrong.

Don't know anything about JetStar, but if they conform to the low cost model, then the return flight may not be affected.

No. You only loose your ticket if you have 2 or more connected flights from Austr to Bkk. Let's say you skip the first then the other 2 following is also skipped by company
Seems people are just making it up as they go along

Sorry, but missing the first leg (or any leg) it cancels all the following flights.
The exception being if you manage to get them to move the flights because you had a problem and continue the leg again. That can be done but you need a good reason. You cannot pick up in the middle of a journey unless you have arrived on the previous leg.
If you can call them and tell them you missed the flight due to some problem and ask them politely if they can move it you might regain all the flights again. That's up to customer services.
One piece of advice i can give people is that if you book a flight that transits through Bangkok and then delay the following leg for say 2 weeks and the return for 2 weeks you can actually get a really good extended 2 country 4 week holiday for the same price as a price as a return to Bangkok.
I book from Dusseldorf to Hong Kong on Emirates with a transit in Bangkok. I then delay my connecting flight from Bangkok for 2 weeks before booking.
The price to Hong Kong is the same as to Bangkok so I get the benefit of a 2 stay holiday, 2 weeks in Thailand and 2 weeks in Hong Kong, for the same price as a return to Bangkok would cost me.
All wrong advice for the OP. You should have noted my post before pressing SUBMIT

I've never seen those deals at retail store, or on the app...
only online at lazada. (not checked shoppee or other shopping networks though). That's because they are not where you are looking.

is DTAC's answer to the Truemove H offer. It has unlimited any network calls, as opposed to just sixty minutes of any network calls included in Truemove H's offer.
But not the SIM for you. More for someone who uses their phone like a phone ????
If you are using around 4GB per day, you might want something snappier. 15, 20 or 30 Mbps.

Is there a point to this post?

I hear all the feedback and there are some good comments made. I do accept that my approach is scattergun, but in defence I was listing anything that was better than the tariff I was last on with True View for about 9 yrs, post paid unlimited 1,200 Bht / month.
I initially could not find these deals on Shopee and Lazada (using poor search keywords), then after finding some either being 6 or 12 month tariffs just seemed too unbelievable. However now finding the responses to this post tells me that many of these deals are real and should be a considered as a solution.
I am not back in Thailand for a few weeks and I have been looking at my unlimited tariff here in UK - I am currently averaging around 120Gb / month and hence as identified the 100Gb monthly limit should probably not actually be a consideration.
Find out which network gives the best coverage at your place. Truemove h and DTAC only achieve around 4 Mbps at my place, so no point in splashing out on a 30 Mbps SIM with them in my case.
In another apartment, AIS and Truemove H were terrible and DTAC was the best. So don't get carried away by the specification. You need to know how it performs at your place.
Current 'best' deals include the Unlimited 15 Mbps with any network calls or 20 Mbps with within network calls from AIS @ 200 baht per month.
30 Mbps for 265 baht per month from DTAC & Truemove H(the latter two inclusive of any network calls).

You'll need to go online.
They have flashsales, promotions , etc every day. What is a deal now may change next week.
No need to go online... unless going for six months or twelve months upfront package.

Thanks for all the great advice! So I will get cbd oil? So this is legal in TH I understand correctly? Was not aware that edibles are not allowed for example.
How can I lay my hands on some good product ideally regularly tested and free of pesticides etc. Order online I assume, any pitfalls regarding breaking the law. Would much prefer to buy cash somewhere in Hua Hin in a reliable shop . Thanks again and as I staated a complete newbie.
Extracts for medicinal purpose are wholly legal. But you are supposed to buy them from specific outlets, supposedly with a prescription(usually done in the 'clinic' that sells the GPO(Government Pharmaceutical Organization) oil. GPO oils will at least be tested for purity and consistency. But you will pay handsomely for them. A visit to a clinic plus 5ml of oil could cost thousands of baht.
A gram of CBD flower, from less than one hundred baht.

The cheapest monthly tariff starts at 100 baht per month for a 1 Mbps connection. 150 baht for 4 Mbps with unlimited any network voice calls. Same for 8 Mbps with unlimited within network calls. 200 baht gets you unlimited 15 Mbps and unlimited any network calls.
Really no need to cheap out.

The best or the cheapest? ☺️
A totally weird and confused thread. Asks for the best six month package and then proclaims the best they have found is actually a twelve month package ????
Then follows that up with a 'limited' six month package ☺️
Amazing.
spambot indeed.
In answer to the question, there are monthly, six monthly and 12 month options.
There is capped speed with a data limit and Max speed with a data limit. There is capped speed with unlimited data. There is capped speed with unlimited data and unlimited within network voice calls. There is capped speed with unlimited data and unlimited any network calls.....
Decide what you need, rather than just looking to scrape the barrel. NT Wireless Thunder is a substitute for fixed Internet; it is not a mobile service. If you have reception at your place and a device that works with LTE Band 40, then it's a viable option.

I cancelled my post paid True plan when I went back to UK, pre Covid, but will be back in Thailand in a few weeks.
I seem to remember that getting 6 months at the best rate was available either from online packages on Lazada or by actually visiting the True, AIS, Dtac retail shop. So far I am struggling to find anything suitable from online search, just tourist sims available from the Airport.
Any urls would be very welcome?
You need to decide if you actually want unlimited or not. AIS Marathon has a 100 GB limit and therefore does not meet your own specification.
Rather than beating yourself down on price, regardless of any other factor, perhaps you should decide first on what you actually need and then request something that matches that.

Just seems in the last few weeks this is happening more to me.
The other day I was riding from Bali Hai around up to the Lighthouse, and a pack of 5 chased me, a bit scary at the time, snapping at my legs., Also happened in some of the small soi's off Pratumnak 5 and 6
A friend of mine was bit a few days ago in a similar situation.
A couple of dogs in the same Bali Hai area were suddenly running alongside my bike. Almost without thinking, I shouted at the them and then stopped abruptly, got off the bike and stalked them for a few seconds. They ran away up the hill.
I only realised afterwards that they were only chasing me because they smelled the chicken hanging on my bike and they wanted to be first in line if I was giving it out. ????
