I notice no mention of Parmigiano Reggiano ????

As an aside and off-topic I know; anyone who wants to have the real thing and not the rubbish they call Parmesan locally, can find this Organic/BIO Parmigiano Reggiano: https://www.carrefour.fr/p/parmigiano-reggiano-bio-aop-carrefour-bio-3560070924950 at half price at TOPS Central Festival. 190 baht. Ignore the price on the label. Good stuff. Cheapskates need not apply. It's quality at a reasonable price.

1380 baht True deal was 300mbps and 70GB a month ( i use 30-50GB a month), but disappointingly speed is 4-13mbps, but better than my previous AIS package

I always advise to buy a standard SIM and to run a speed test before choosing a 12 month deal. All those high figures are mostly pie in the sky indoors.

Either way, it's ok for you since you don't need more than the 70GB allowance.

However we've 4 years to see public response

They have already stated that it can run Android Apps and would run Play Store if Google would allow it.

Yes they offered me 150 baht for data or 200 with calls up to 15 mins. Even at 1800 baht they will make more money than they get when agents sell at a similar price on Lazada

Indeed I have the package with calls for 200 baht, though I don't need the calling aspect. Possibly Super WiFi too; though I don't utilise that either.

So.....why did you buy the Truemove H SIM?

Yeah already I dislike True, AIS phoned me and offered me a 150 baht monthly deal unlimited data 10mbps, which is good and a similar price to the deals on Lazada, I'll switch back to AIS next year

They offered a customer of eleven years for 250 baht.

You 150? 1800 baht annually is actually less than for how much they sell on Lazada. So if 150 baht; it is actually an excellent offer. Most pay 200 baht per month.

With " WhyNotWin11", I have now UEFI, TPM2.0 , Secure boot, and GPT

But, in section " Disk partition type ", there is " GPT not detected "

how to have it " detected " ? I have a  7 th generation CPU but I think Microsoft will change one's mind

    thanks

Don't worry about it. GPT partition will be created if you clean install Windows 11 anyway.

Yesterday I started fighting with Windows 10 .....

    1) Can't see me NAS dives <deleted> ...... windows 7 no problems, but it can't handle USB 3 at greater than 15mbs.

    2) Can't start without logging on and entering a password, only me using it, why the f.... do I have to enter a password?

TBH I can recognise all of the individual words; but I have no idea as to what you are trying to convey.

You don't need to enter a password. You can leave that part blank when creating a Local account.

You might have chosen or been coerced to create another kind of sign-in option: such as a Microsoft account or picture password or PIN.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/can-i-sign-in-to-windows-without-a-password-a72b85ae-75ae-4cfa-5c7d-186a61fcce92

You'll have to give a lot more detail if you want anyone to make sense of what you have written. For example; with concern to the NAS.

hello, any idea where to eat the real carbonara with only eggs and no cream ?

I understand that most people do not even know that real carbonara has no cream, but is there at least one restaurant owner who knows ?!

    thank you.

Any Italian restaurant run by Italians will know; just ask them. Real carbonara? Do you know where to find real Pancetta in Thailand? Be realistic, unless you are prepared to pay the big bucks and I know that you are not, you are not going to get a real anything.

Carbonara: Pancetta/Guanciale(expensive, if at all available), Parmigiano Reggiano(expensive)

Unless you are willing to pay for it, you aren't going to get a 'real' anything.

Thanks. This tool really gives you details in a good overview. When exposed to an online malware scan 3 (out of 50 or so) scanners give a (probable false) positive for the script, but both my Bitdefender and Malwarebytes with the rest of the other scanners give a pass. So I did run it. Unfortunately it only confirms what I did know already. 3 of my 4 systems will die because of CPU incompatibility (TPM would have been no problem there) or be used as a local display without online access.

My main system (AMD Threadripper 2950X CPU and Asus ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha MB) has indeed the possibility to switch on firmware based fTPM (or use a plug-in hardware TPM). Hopefully this is then recognized by MS Update when they distribute the WIN 11. This means I only need to buy one new medium capability desktop (and install all the software and config, permissions (a nightmare) on it - which is much much more of a hassle overall).

The announcement is a bit confusing to many. Windows 11 will install with CPU older than 8th Gen/Apollo Lake. You'll just get notice that it is not "recommended".

One is a local Thai place, catering for locals of lets say certain class, the other place is an arab place, catering to Arabs and whales who are into Arabs????

I am almost certain both places were snitched on by neighbors, the local one is located amongst a few similar places, so no doubt biz next door made the call and other one is located in that dead arab soi, which is dead empty with no lights, again with a few similar biz up  that soi.

I watched the video. Where are the "whales"? I did not see any big girls there at all. Any smaller and they would be like children. Do you like girls smaller than shown there? If they are "whales", then goodness knows what you like....or are you just being nasty for the sake of it?

From my 4 PCs, all fail the compatability test because 3 have older CPU which are not on the list and one because of a missing TPM 2.0. The checking tool does not give a reason but I can figure out why they seem not to be compatible.

So my 2 laptops have to die and one of the 2 desktops will be completely replaced (it was (is) my backup machine and therefore necessary)

Now my main custom built system (160K+ invested 2 years ago) does not have this needed TPM, but the motherboard (Asus Extreme Zenith Alpha) has at least a connector for a plug-in. The question is: where do you get a plug in TPM ? invadeIT does not seem to have one in their online shop.

I would consider upgrading in a year or so after version 11 has matured a bit.

Likely you don't need a plug-in. Intel chipsets since 2013 have contained their PTT:

    Quote

Intel’s PTT was Introduced in 2013 on select fourth-generation Intel Core processors and chipsets, including Intel Haswell ULT multichip packages, as well as on Atom-based, system-on-a-chip solutions like Bay Trail. PTT enables low-cost and low-power devices to support the same root of trust concepts enabled by hardware-based TPM. Furthermore, it supports all of Microsoft’s requirements for firmware Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0.

Usually it's just a matter of switching it on via the BIOS.; “PTT” on Intel systems, or “PSP fTPM" for AMD.
