I posted on X about, OTD Arsenal beat Orient 3 - 0 in FA Cup semi and I gave the scorers as in the record books. 2 Orient fans actually replied saying "no way should those goals be given to MacDonald." They are right of course. Both big deflections. I've watched the highlights on YouTube a few times. Great crowd.

Maybe The Gunners now, but not sure about Villa. To score one brilliant free kick in a match is amazing ... but 2 !! Hats off to Declan Rice. Big surprise.

I've visited Pattaya many times from Bangkok by bus or car. Every time I notice a 'stopover' area about midway between the two places, but I've never been. There's MacDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Subway etc. Is this in Chachoenso & has anyone actually stopped there?

Watched Arsenal vs Newcastle in the late 70s with my dad. Arsenal 5 Newcastle 3. SuperMac hatrick against his former club. It was a freezing cold Saturday afternoon. Every other game postponed due to frozen pitches. Highbury's undersoil heating did the trick. Couldn't wait to see the long highlights on MOTD later.

You're always going to think of other players and possibilities. I mentioned Seaman, but now I thought about Peter Shilton. Gascoigne was a great playmaker, but can't have him as a forward. Maybe John Barnes should be on the wing.

Not gonna start a new thread at this late stage for the Champions League. But now it gets interesting. QF stage. My predictions to reach the semi-finals: Real Madrid. Barcelona. PSG. Bayern Munich. Looks almost like the usual suspects. No English clubs too. ⚽️ 🏆

I've only just seen this thread mate. Such a difficult task. I wouldn't know where to start if you're going back decades. So hard to compare players. I'd like to mention David Seaman & Kenny Sansom. What about Stan Bowles & Gerry & Trevor Francis. I know you can't have them all. ⚽️

I couldn't have been more wrong. The first 6 cars finished just as they started the race. No overtaking whatsoever. Boring.

Okay, it's time for round 3. The Japanese F1 race is usually one of the better ones. We'll see. I'm ready for qualifying and the main race tomorrow. Let's hope a few teams will be battling it out and for no penalties after the race has finished. 🏁

Did the money in the bank come from abroad? DR Jack54 has mentioned before however, if the money has been in your account 'a while' it shouldn't matter anyway.

Looks like Liverpool will be champions & we know the 3 relegated teams. Just the battle for European places left. Forest vs Palace would be good, but I think it'll be City vs Villa. FA Cup is not dead. Great atmosphere & tension in the Brighton vs Forest match. Looking at last night's league one results, noone wants to get in the last playoff spot.

It doesn't look like much of a concern to me, but it would be good if people had the option of filling out a card if they prefer or require that method. What would concern me is having to pay a fee online and your cards were not accepted. -
You have a good memory. Mine's not bad too when it comes to football. I remember going to a division 4 match in the late 70s. Colchester vs Gillingham. The Gills were battling for promotion. I stood on the wooden terracing at Layer Road with my dad and a few mates.
