  1. Cat killer perhaps (google)
  2. Understand not wanting noise at night but it is a friday night after another week in the hell we call Covid so perhaps really do not need everyone to be a quiet church mouse? Better than 'shots fired' we often see reported other places. Perhaps take cheap action to limit the noise?
  3. The gas cylinder is a replaceable item (easy) but you need to know the exact size and that the chair actually has one. Bought a local fancy chain at roadside sales few years ago that was a plastic screw to rise/lower - total junk (at non junk price) that looked like 15,000 baht chairs. The cylinder fits into base from top and chair fits onto the top of cylinder. As said if a brand name go to place that sells and perhaps they know someone who can fix - or if you have a hammer to separate take apart and measure and check online to order. As said very easy to replace once old removed.
  4. Yes it is - 10 bar not PSI. About 145 PSI.
  5. That should indicate you (or someone) are logged on - but if it is not you to contact them.
  6. Recall recently had to keep Lazada in Thai and log on from the Thai version - once logged on English came up. So might try change of language prior to log on and see if that does anything. Probably not as you seem to have different issue with the sms requirement. But as said above it does tend to change from one day to the next so with some luck might work tomorrow.
  7. Sorry not help - you are not using a new/foreign IP address by any chance?
  8. Just logged in no problem but sometimes have to call up a new page to do - but first try tonight. If using Chrome I would clear cookies to see if that helps. Top right three dot menu Settings Security and Privacy Cookies and other site data See all cookies and site data ((scroll down to Lazada entry, click and remove all))
  9. Recall having such an issue long ago - and another if not remove external drive prior to updates. Gave up and use USB mouse/keyboards now. Still have mouse not load on occasion but a restart fixes that. Computer is old, old but keeps on working so can not justify replacing (but guess will have to do so when Win 10 stops being supported).
  10. These days perhaps - when East Pakistan became Bangladesh Indian medical facilities were not what they are today. Not to mention India was bombing Dacca; to the cheers of most living there - a very strange time.
  11. 90 days starts on date of arrival or first extension of stay - you seem to have made a conversion from visa exempt or tourist entry to non immigrant O 90 day stay but have not obtained an extension yet?
  12. Did they perhaps process your 90 day report 10 days early? Often 90 days starts from date they process if you submit early.
  13. They were not that easy to find last year when I first had to use (copy service) - but there were several at the North-West end of ground floor about 100 meters after you pass Bangkok Bank. They were outside stalls that I found.
  14. As said hard to make out why, unless your bottle is not legal and can not be exchanged. You are aware with exchange you get a full bottle at a fixed price and most please will deliver and hook up?
  15. Having lived in Dacca when country became Bangladesh suspect medical facilities are still limited. At that time I had to medevac to Thailand for a cyst and tooth removal. But back issues is a valid question as surgery may not be a good option. Has he been told surgery is an answer?
  16. What you seem to want is a plastic surgeon and price will be much higher for that. If use a general surgeon the cost would be much less (and suspect not much scar for that size). I have paid 25 or 30 thousand for skin cancer removals using plastic surgeon (but these are rather large areas to insure all cancer removed) - as for scars still have some even with such surgeons. Sorry can not help with specifics but am sure someone will reply shortly.
  17. If you order from Zenni not expensive and both bifocal and progressive lens choice.
  18. That is designed and marketed as an alternative to eyeglasses for those with vision problems. As there is a history of issues with multi focal lens implants; and most insurance does not cover (except when used due removal of cataract); would not be seeking such treatment for myself.
  19. Will give it a try next time - just did another mail last month as did not want to wait and fail and have to do in person until after wife got booster shot, and I should also get mine later this month. FYI - they back to sending only receipt/blank TM47 form back it seems.
  20. Good luck - they changed numbers here in Bangkok several decades ago and still have to use old numbers as well as new for most things. On an online 90 day report last year was advised would not be accepted again without both numbers (field would not take both numbers for some reason when I sent it). Have not had a chance to test as locked out of online reporting ever since. But if doing in person would advise them of change (copy of official notice might be good to have).
  21. Just have property owner file a TM30 (as required by law). A copy of that should be accepted (keep in your passport).
  22. I suspect the ground water tank was designed to be the holding tank for water outage and to supply the 3rd story tank which would then be pumped to house so you would have good water pressure everywhere. Expect there were two pumps and one failed so someone just used the remaining pump to feed home from ground level tank. I would just do as he says and get a new pump for upstairs to supply house.
  23. Perhaps because that is what the question was? And not wanting Thai electric power lines anywhere near that area? ????
