That is a fairly large room - as said how many windows/insulation and how cold you need it can makes a huge difference. Being in Udorn (I still spell it 1960's) and home expect you will not need too much cooling so 12k may indeed be enough - you can always install another if one is not enough and then have backup if one fails. I do understand cards say they are the brave new world - but I was around before there were any and well recall when it became a PIA to rent a car without when back in USA - but still could do. 50 years later can still live without them (although have a few). But for frequent travelers am sure they are a staple these days - but for normal overseas living not so much - better to have local bank accounts.

Probably good to check SEER but if you have used and happy with them expect they will be fine. Some cheaper units (and not so cheap) use poor plastics that not only discolor but make excessive noise when in operation - but believe current models are likely of better quality if inverter models. SEER can get quite high these days (less wattage used) so if for the long term worth paying more in some cases.

Ali in my experience was very erratic for how long it takes - months at times. Gave up on them about a year after they bought Lazada - during that first year Lazada was much more expensive but has became much more competitive and receive products in less than 2 weeks with no customs issues.

I am one who made the change to electric from blade (and still hate it). But at about 80 and taking Plavix seemed to be cutting myself more than normal (almost never before) so made the change on my own. Was taking another medication, for cancer, at the time and had severe bleeding issues and stopped with that so expect might be able to shave with blade without too many issues now but have got used to the stubble feeling a bit so will continue. Must say shavers made for Asia/cheap do not seen to work well for heavy beard and have to use Philips OneBlade to actually cut much. Not smooth as a blade shave but at least not feel like a Brillo pad.

OK - I admit I am not a fan of plastic but would not expect many people to use a credit card to pay a few baht bill in Thailand. Would you expect immigration to accept your card for extension of stay also? If this for actual tests there are ATM's everywhere that do accept cards for cash. Or is this a mail order type charge? Cash is still a major payment path here.
