Nonsense entirely. If something goes wrong on the other side the bank side would see only success or zero. The OP does not say he lost money but got a failed transaction. Sigh. This issue relates likely from the payment provider refusing those countrie(s) and/or banks and/or your current location. OR there is simply a (temporary) error on their side (website/processor).

What part of tax regulations do people in this post still not get? Leaving in between does not make a difference, specially not if you are also not taxed in your home country while there is a DTA. 180 days is 180 days. In a calendar year. That is simply how it is going down if all is implemented as of known now, you can bet on that. You guys are also brilliant naive on the fact that it really isnt hard anymore to track how long you been here, or to then flag you down on not having reported and paid later on. The technology that is coming to your guys of the older generation, must be mind blowing, its gonna be like 20X faster than the past decade, per year. With other words: control. Sure nothing changes for those with means and connections but that doesnt help you or most here. if you think to compare this to the failing systems like their immigration today, you are naive too, they do that on purpose because its a economy within a economy. why you think they can find people so fast when they want to, they have israeli software even. Not to mention thais banking system is one of the more new and advanced ones compared to europe let alone the usa who still lives in pre history.

Being taxed is based on how many days you are in a country within a calendar year, leaving every 90 days does not stop that. Nonsense post. To get relevant, savannakhet for sure will remain busy, because for example places like Hanoi already make it near impossible to get a tourist visa, unless you have all your days pre-booked + financial receipt + flight out + financial receipt + 6 months bank history and statement. And for those who wonder, yes you understand that right, the financial receipt part is to make it impossible using websites like onwardflight etc.

I need quite a bit done too but haven't started due to the insane high costs in Thailand, a proper implant here cost 2-2.5X more (no wonder he offered me installments on the other 50% even I am a farang). I personally have no experience in Vietnam but I already notices the prices here being much much better, could be a good option nearby. Otherwise I would opt for Bulgaria or Istanbul.

OP must live in a city called Thailand on the planet Mars, all over Thailand people walk in normal shoes, long pants and more. To then not even start about the fact that most people not have money for better clothes or that is a normal outfit for tourists / in this weather. Sad really, sad. I actually had more problems with foreigners wearing shoes, to then have super sweaty smelly feet, when needing to take the shoes off, when entering somewhere.

Did they also mention the damage, or potential dangerous situations as a result of the pole falling over? How would insurances think about that when needing to pay out if it caused a fire or fell on the house or a car.

That's not even funny, it is just sad, if one can't even do this, then what can one do.

180 day rule and filing TAXES
ChaiyaTH replied to Marky Mark Mark's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Its so simple, just become a pirate like me and sign zero tax agreement on your ass. If thailand wants to ruin its economy and foreign visitor count even more, or lets say faster, i help by visiting Vietnam more often and longer. Solved. And we all know where that leads to, people eventually not coming back at all. After all the nonsense in the past decade they do not deserve more energy from us with stuff like this. They will come back on it fast enough when its too late but yes, then its too late. Thats how they lost 70% of the (western) backpackers and digital nomads already too. They are all in vietnam and indonesia while visiting laos and cambodia too, but skipping Thailand. Many of the new generation never even went. -

Its just a plain lie and nonsense statement. Its cleaner here, they even have small sweeper cars. there is more diversity in fashion, shops, restaurants, people, buildings and everything else too. seen one rat in a week, see 10 per hour in bangkok. and im not the anti person to downplay thailand on thailand too, its really just the truth, and next years vietnam only progress more and more. -

The confused person again seems to not understand that if the entire scooter is electric, on low quality standards, its easy to get all sorts of problems fast. -
