I'm confused, they now also require money proof for non-o visa in Savannakhet? That was like one of the few places left where it was not needed? Or is this only for the multi entry one and not single ones? In Hanoi they also require it but it would just be a print out statement, I don't even know if that has now changed again as well, that would be very miserable as most would come without it. It defeats the entire purpose of this visa as well, the entire benefit of this visa is that you do not need the money, as you might as well be someone who comes and goes 3 months on and off. Also just generally speaking, many, also at younger ages, might not have this money together yet. This does not change they do have a wife or even children. Just really lost their mind.

Means absolutely nothing, the websites are essentially nothing more than landing pages with unique refferal codes for the people promoting it anyway. The actual casino things just keep running, all they have to do is use some new IP addresses and it's back online. Same for the 'websites' by just registering another domain name. The fact they took down so many, if that is not just another lie as well, means there are hundreds of thousands left online.

Selling US Gold Coins

I'd be interested, I think you should post on Facebook really, you will also get more from a P2P sale than going to a shop. Shops like in lotus or big c are there to mainly sell what they have, not to buy random stuff and be bothered to even test if it is gold etc etc. You need to go to some real gold shop in that case, likely older ones, Chinatown areas. -
Reforestation seen as only viable smog solution

The country of black and white thinking... There is only ONE solution. -
So how you explain the annoying drunk brits in that case?
-
10KG of mined pork / chicken breast for freezer from Makro and then 120 baht pocket change for a pack of cigarettes and a drink from 7/11 + 40 baht gasoline motorbike.

Yeah I'm aware, I am early 30s but saw this coming when I was 15 already and moved here at 20. At least here it is somehow still the old world aside from more pleasant to live, and if it all goes down, I at least had a decade plus of good times. And actually until I was 13/14 it was all good too (no smartphones yet). I have like a few brothers and sisters, all younger, 4 years from each other, and boy, it changed hardcore after that, downhill I mean.. I heard Florida just made it illegal for kids to use social media or something, until that age (13-14), makes perfect sense. Anyway I'm heading off-topic now. ---- In terms of technology etc, it is not hard to understand that if the future is AI, robots etc, who can basically do everything, and that those things usually in majority are always owned by companies. That means that we soon depend more on individual companies and it's owners, than we depend on governments. This alone is a threat to humanity.

He says whatever when talking in Europe, same with all the other things they said before, or that land bridge investment, let's see money details first. Or tomorrow land, another joke. Then this again? It is not even up to him, and how could it be a threat to Thailand, that just confirms once again this PM is a moron and clueless (aside from not making decisions anyway, so who cares what he said). Whatever they do I will assure you that weed will always remain readily available in Thailand, nothing will change that ever again. In the best case the police will start making some decent bribe money on it, which actually seems to be the only reason, they wanted to make it (partly) illegal again, as they rule. The police so far has no ability to say or do anything about weed, and also not being able to collect any bribes or small time fines, they want that to change only.

Your life would be so much easier if just buying a second hand apple computer, I mean they cost as little as 6000 baht nowadays, the days it was expensive is when there wasn't really many second / third hand products yet. This while even my first MacBook Air and Mac mini '14 still work perfect today, with 10 browsers and 5 applications at once open.

I'm not sure what you mean, you can simply deposit cash by inserting your ATM card in it, no need for any ID card. I still used both Bangkok Bank and Kasikornbank recently without needing it at least. Random places too. The ID thing should only be if you want to deposit cash, and choose a bank account you send it to, to avoid laundering.

Opticians who do Prescriptions without purchase!
ChaiyaTH replied to scottiejohn's topic in Chiang Mai
You don't, its called service. -
Chiang Mai governor already explained that 'Songkran' is seen as a event by government to promote Thailand, hence it was said to last a few weeks now. This is not for water playing but events in general aka another Bangkok failure idea. The actual and official holiday however is not changed at all, the same goes for water playing which will be 13, 14 and 15 only. Gonna be hiding all 3 days to be honest, the pollution fked me enough this year to never want to experience that again too. Not really interested in people throwing dirty water on me, to get rid of their aggression fueled by alcohol, to then get sick after.

Any exception to the two a year land crossings?
ChaiyaTH replied to Yagoda's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Visa run services in the south seem to somehow be able and bend the 2 times a year limit when crossing with them on Malaysia side, i Believe 3 instead of 2, otherwise it is always 2. Russians and Ukranians also need to stay there for like 3 days before returning. -

I think your best chance is to drive by some local coin or QR payment operated washing machine places, often there is names and phone numbers or LINE id's of these companies that make them or maintain them. I have seen various ones when I was using them in Bangkok (the last one I saw is very cool; can pay QR code as well it does the powder itself, so nobody can mess up the machine). But i'm afraid most actually usually sell or lease washing machines as a ready to use one here, never seen people manually converting ones, but it seems to very easy on YouTube to do. Let me know if you know more, i'd like to learn about it. I always liked these self operating devices including snack and drink vending machines.
