  1. Stop projecting your biased personal experiences on others aside of claiming that to be absolute truth. i experimented with plenty of hard drugs, even still use it once a year if visiting amsterdam, never got a second of a firt with being addicted to it. That is entirely depend person to person. To then say some people are “addicted” is just as vague, obviously plenty of people are alcoholic or addicted and deny that. That however says zero in general, there is just as many people who use substances regular and are not addicted at all. If you would judge my friend on holiday here you would think he is alcoholic too, because you not see him not drinking during his 4-5 months working stint in between.
  2. Have u read at all what i said? How can you even come to “addicted” while it clearly describes and explains the opposite. As i travel often, i stop very often too, without issues. That doesnt mean there are no withdrawal effects. If i was an addict, id just get weed anywhere i went and go. As described i use it medicinal instead of ritalin, which has way more side effects, in a negative way. You havent changed at all do you, still posting nonsense.
  3. I smoke since 15 years for most years almost daily, in the times i visit a country or place i cant smoke a few days or even a few weeks, there are certainly withdrawal symptoms. Starts with irritable, then not sleeping good a few days, intense dreams or nightmares, sweat that smells like weed and sweaty hands, not hungry first 1-2 days. After that its all good, but to say no withdrawal symptoms is nonsense. I smoke like half a gram daily. I am dependent, not addicted, the alternative for me is ritalin. Im busy in the head too much otherwise.
  4. Any idea until which time you can go in the evening to Savannakhet? I plan to arrive around 8:30-9:00PM.
  5. @transam Do you download and prepare the application form for the Thai visa? Or do you always just have to queue up and get the form somewhere down the line? Thanks!
  6. Something with that you are allowed to first call a lawyer or let the lawyer be present I believe. Don't know anymore but remember something like that.
  7. I suspect makro will go bankrupt from these complaints >< Filling a basket over a period of 2-3 days, for less than 3K baht, and then being surprised or even offended when certain items are no longer in stock by that point. I mean serious? lol.
  8. I stopped reading after the first sentence, learn to use spacing. Anyway, genetics are just 1 part of it, it is obvious that the diet is the issue.
  9. I just got a hot latte from 7/11 and saw them preparing 3-4 of those ice drinks, just the stuff they put in there already nearly made me throw up... Disgusting really, it is just nothing but sugar and other bad things.
  10. Oh please cry me a river with your BS ghost stories. You could get yabba in the same way as you describe. Or alcohol. Or cigarettes. Thai stick was even just as readily available as it is now it is legal. The only thing that changed is that there are now normal shops, with staff and rent paid, and many types of weed. Most people are just super ignorant, and relatively stupid. Guess that is why they work 40 years too. How can you even mention a mailman in this story, how would he know what you order and why would he be responsible for your daughter opening your package? LOL.
  11. Yeah right, but for some reason all us westerns who did it are much taller, stronger, smarter and healthier. That they abused it in advertising or over rated benefits, is another thing.
  12. 7/11 slurpies and the cheap ice teas are way worse than those you show. As well cheaper and more populair.
  13. Pretty sure the height is just one of many issues, I actually start to believe the Thais and their diet is cause them to be lazy and have low energy too. Not to mention obese or intelligence.
  14. Who would even notice, 1 baht gold is already like near 1K USD and tiny, can easily hide dozens in your luggage etc. To bring a lot of cash more tricky if you do a quick ''please open your bags'' at the border, which i never had before but is always a chance to happen. Gold can put everywhere, in pockets of clothes, toilet bag, daypack, wearing a chain on top etc etc. Pretty sure you could even find locals that cross the border daily for you with the max of 2K, for a tiny fee, lol.
  15. They invested in the concept of a game as far I am aware, not in actual coins or NFT's itself, to gain value, from the 15M investor side at least. If the market didn't collapse so soon, he might even been successful. Always easy to talk after.
  16. Business went south and he stays quiet, wouldn't call that a scandal, how many investors for the 15M baht, for these rich Thai that is not that much too. Assume he not wanna pay up from private money, hence the lawyer deals with it and he is wise enough to not speak now. Most projects that actually were scams, took hundreds of millions of baht.
  17. Yes why not, or stop to complain perhaps about nothing. Be happy they fix the sidewalk in the first place.
  18. Who cares just bring it land border, worst case go multiple times. Sky is limit.
  19. I've not been near Phuket but had near a full week of this, worst I ever had, a few weeks ago.
  20. For sure you have to stop trying to be some fake perfect dude. Hiring marketing people to make a dating profile? Hiring people to manage apps? WTF, I would also run away in that case. The ladies might even think you are a nigerian scammer. And in terms of the more professional ladies, they usually not bother being on such apps, you have to meet them in real. So change the location, go where they go etc. If you look for something precise and are critical, chances are you never find it here. In fact, many girls are single for the same reason here.
  21. Snakes can keep their breath under water for up to an hour and swim, even they normally not do that. Then knowing all the rats in sewages, I am pretty sure they come from the toilet. It's not like they come from elsewhere and then go sleep in the toilet. Same same cockroaches, you can't drown them, have to kill them. They survive nukes.
  22. Yeah dream on, if certain offices say no, that means the answer is no. To challenge that is both naive and risky.
  23. Phangan also never allowed 60 day extensions based on child for non-o purposes, to then be able and extend to a year. They said I would need to get a non-o single entry visa for that first. This while I did it in Chiang Mai for at least 4-5 times.
  24. Did you even read your own list or just copy and pasted it? Most of the list say it not happens or rarely happens in case of murder.
  25. Yeah dream on believing that most are good. They might be until someone pays them money to not be good to you anymore, that is the entire point.
