EC sends Pita shareholding case to Charter Court
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I don't agree, there is an overwhelming need for change and change cannot happen when the politicians, senators, judiciary, police and military are all completely corrupt The only thing that will change them is blood on the streets and a complete root and branch change then string the horrible robbing bastards up so the next lot think twice Violence should always be a last resort but I reckon there is absolutely no other option, they have shown they have zero respect for democracy or the will of the people... -

Pita Confident More Senators Are Now Backing Him For PM
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They are shaken, this was something they never saw coming so they are willing to countenance anything rather than risk an outbreak of democracy They are rightly terrified as they know it will be the beginning of the end for them and they and their apologists will clutch at any straw to delay the inevitable... -
Pita Confident More Senators Are Now Backing Him For PM
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
What planet are you on? They are hypocrites who care zero for their country or their compatriots, they have shown zero honour and zero good intentions. They are beneath contempt and their families are guilty by association... -
Pita Confident More Senators Are Now Backing Him For PM
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think you are wrong and believe they are all corrupt and they all have ill-gotten gains every single last one of the hypocritical creatures!! That also illustrates the inherent problem with opinions they're like <deleted>'s and every <deleted>'s got one and mine is just as relevant as yours's plus if recent history is anything to go by mine is much more likely to be correct... -

OPINION: Thailand’s people have spoken. Will its military listen?
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
From the Washington Post article and pretty much sums up the state of play: 'Mr. Pita’s first big hurdle to the top post is an unfairly skewed system for choosing a prime minister. The new constitution, drafted by the junta and adopted in 2017, was written specifically to preserve the military’s sway over any future elected government and prevent any real reformer such as Mr. Pita from coming to power. It stipulates that the prime minister be chosen not by the 500 members of parliament elected in May, but instead be jointly named by parliament and the 250-member appointed senate. All the senators owe their jobs to the ruling junta, and presumably remain beholden to the military' and this.... 'This is a crucial time for Thailand. The country’s military rulers need to know that the world, including the United States, is watching. The only democratic way forward is for the generals to step aside and let the clear winner of the May election form the next government' -
Mmm, don't really know how to reply to this without insulting your intelligence so I will try to keep it simple If you are unusually wealthy and publicly flaunt that unusual wealth it is right and proper to ask questions, it would be exactly the same if he was sporting a pair of diamond encrusted gucci knickers every day. Now there's a picture I will struggle to remove....

Shingles? are these Thai medical experts trained in medicine, doesn't appear so... 'Usually you get the shingles rash on your chest and tummy, but it can appear anywhere on your body including on your face, eyes and genitals. The rash appears as blotches on your skin, on 1 side of your body only. A rash on both the left and right of your body is unlikely to be shingles' Shingles - NHS (www.nhs.uk) Rank amateurs.

Prayut To Be Held Accountable For His Deeds Over Last 9 Years: Pita
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Depends how you define the 'need to pay' I think their accounts should be frozen as should their families and supporters then redistributed to the country they have plundered More than that in order to break the coup cycle they need to swing from a lamppost for the crimes they have committed, for what they have done prison or exile is not enough... -
EC to Propose Recounts for Certain Constituencies
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes just keep recounting until they find the result they want, disgusting but predictable... -
You are so very wrong as without regime change and complete root and branch reform of the judiciary amongst others there can be no justice for anybody who opposes them! you cannot expect any justice from the courts when they are all bought and paid for by your buddies and other untouchables, it shows incredible naivety to think otherwise especially when it is so simple to find multiple examples to prove this do you live in cloud cuckoo land I only ask as anybody with an ounce of common sense knows that justice is an illusion in Thailand and rarer than than rocking horse <deleted>!!
-
You really need to wake up and smell the coffee, your junta buddies are as bent as a nine bob note so anything they, the judiciary, NACC, RTP, Military touch is utterly bent. They can't be trusted and there is no justice so your argument is badly flawed do you remember the convicted international drug dealer politician? do you remember the watch saga? do you remember Prayut's brothers dodgy building works? do you remember the junta disallowing any looking into their financial affairs? do you remember 250 bought and paid for senators? you talk about Pita and co breaking rules but you close your eyes to the fact the dinosaurs are the absolute epitome of the endemic corruption that has hamstrung Thailand for decades there is no real rule of law everything is bought and paid for by them and you really need to give your head a good wobble if you cannot see that!

Myanmar junta says it will rethink relationship with Thailand
mark131v replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes much better to keep on with the Thai junta and ignore the will of the people so they don't upset the military dictatorship next door, sad very, very sad... -
Perhaps this fella has unloaded both barrels into his feet, he is clearly stating that in his opinion weed that is available on pretty much every street is highly addictive and that many patients are self medicating without a prescription or medical advice. Seems a perfect reason to re-classify this drug to me....

Senate panel to study Move Forward party’s PM candidate
mark131v replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Some of the Thai political class ain't the smartest or most sensible of people but to join hands with the establishment would be political suicide, really hope they don't <deleted> everything up at this stage, I hope I'm right but on past performance I wouldn't bet my pension on it but I live in hope....
