3 minutes ago, heybruce said:Prayut can't reform the police, or, even worse, clean it up. Think of the precedent!
If he did that what would come next? The civil service? The military? Where would it stop?
Three monkeys mate!!
Like I said earlier they are all so paranoid it's see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. None of them could survive independent scrutiny therefore the whole <deleted>show is allowed to carry on. <deleted>in sad really but hey TiT....

Are you drunk being sarcastic or just delusional?
Really hope it is just drunk or sarcasm as that level of delusion is very, very dangerous and would require immediate intervention or you may end up like our friend Steven stuck in a make believe alternate reality, scary stuff...

'The senator said that the Prime Minister could have overruled the two orders by submitting the police reform draft bill to Parliament, which was written by Meechai Ruchupan, the Government’s legal expert
Neither the Government or the Prime Minister did so, but chose to send the police reform draft, which was heavily amended by the Royal Police Office, directly to the Cabinet instead, which approved it on September 15th, said Kamnoon, adding that there is no hope for real police reform with the modified draft'
That's what happens when the whole place is rotten from the head down, all the institutions are corrupt and paranoid about prying eyes so they all go the 3 monkeys route
The whole deck of cards needs to be brought down top to bottom it's the only way but unfortunately corruption and nepotism is so deeply ingrained in the Thai psyche that's not likely to happen without bloodshed and pain
Here's hoping they can grow a pair but until then I figure there is truth to the statement about people getting the government they deserve...

He'll be flipping hamburgers next week .... lol
Yes your probably right
Has been seen very many times that the junta will not accept any form of dissent from within or without
The net result of that is constructive criticism that could improve things is ignored so nothing ever changes
That's what happens when you have uneducated, incompetent, morally corrupt buffoons like general Pinocchio and his minions and backers in charge
Thailand is doomed to keep repeating the mistakes of the past until they grow a pair and Steven's hero is dangling on a rope or incarcerated for life....

As subtle as "the real Germans" when they picked group after group for concentration camps and eventually killed millions of Jews in gas chambers?
Is it that what you mean?
Or as subtle as "the real Germans" that permanently bash Thai ladies?
Or as subtle as "" the real Germans" that permanently bash me as a pedophile because I emigrated to Thailand?
Or what else do you mean?
Sounds like you've got snags mate maybe time to see another Dr from a religion you've no preconceptions about or maybe just accept religion has <deleted> all to do with medical professionalism for most people...

I'm neither German nor religious - So would be grateful if you could explain the need to say what religion the Dr was in your above account. Many thanks.
Subtle bigotry perhaps?
It's always concerning when a large proportion of population is singled out in order to point out potential fault's, says a lot actually most of it negative...

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has thanked officials and the protesters for maintaining peace during the weekend rallies, Anucha Buraphachaisri, a spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, said on Sunday.
aka: a speech writer slightly brighter than general Pinocchio has put pen to paper in order to make the great leader look brighter and more likable by getting a civil servant to read out a statement, anybody really think he has any involvement in this kindly go and give your head a wobble and have a quiet word with yourself.....

I have a theory that it's genetic, they just cannot help themselves it's the curse of 'face' a massive impediment to the country ever going forward

In other words lets turn the clock back 200 years when the serfs knew their place bet they wish they could turn off the internet that would be game, set and match!!

Lets get that xenophobia whipped right up!!
Covid 19 is an absolute gift for general Pinocchio and his minions, get's to put the boot into the dirty fallang and allows him to spread fear among the serf's whilst dragging the country back to the locked feudal country they long for, they love it!!!

Looks like it will take a couple of weeks to find somebody stupid enough to do it, not ordinarily a problem but then again this is an absolutely ginockapod no win role, maybe it needs brown envelopes sent from general Pinocchio for a change...
