The additional money will be used to improve safety and infrastructure at the airport ahead of the arrival of more international flights flying directly to Hua Hin. Mr. Udorn Olsson, special advisor to the Ministry of Transport, revealed on Friday (June 10) that he had met with representatives from all key sectors to track the progress of the initial 250 million baht budget to widen Hua Hin Airport’s runway. Yesterday, June 10th, local media went to Chaiyapruek Road and Walking Steeet in the Nong Prue subdistrict of Banglamung, Chonburi, after a picture of zig-zag street lines captured by local residents went viral on Facebook and sparked a lot of questions. However, cannabis oil extracts containing more than 0.2 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is still considered Category 5 substance and is governed by narcotics control and suppression laws. The ONCB warned that while people are permitted to possess the plant and grow it for personal use, they cannot use cannabis buds as a cooking ingredient, as this is still illegal. The office also advised business owners to obtain certification from the Food and Drug Administration for certain cannabis oil-containing products, as police will file charges if the product is found to be in violation of the new law. The announcement said the “emergency support loan” was for the Ministry of Finance to use to mitigate economic and social problems that were caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The loan was approved by the Cabinet on April 26. The 15-year loan contract with an interest rate of 0.01 per cent per year was made with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The loan payment, scheduled for May 20 and November 20 of every year, will be exempted for the first four years. The teacher would reportedly take care of the hospital bill. The 12-year-old girl (name withheld due to being a minor) narrated the incident today, June 10th, that led to her hospitalization. According to her, the female teacher, whose name was also withheld as part of a pending agreement between the parents and the teacher, found that some students (sixth graders) reportedly broke a pen and spilled ink on the teacher’s desk in the classroom as a prank. The teacher then asked the responsible party to raise their hand, but nobody did, which angered the teacher. As a result, the teacher punished the entire class by making them do 50 squat jumps, the girl said.
