  1. Multiple reasons for this...some because of real economics (see the Mall pharmacies which have much higher operating costs), some is just because they think of know they can charge what they charge. In general though...location location location always is a factor of pricing for ALL products: coffee, food, medicines, due to rent and cost of living costs. However, then there is just pure choices made by the biz owner. Here in Pattaya, it took me awhile to realize how different prices were from shop to shop...even just 10 meters apart. 100 baht vs 40 baht. 200 baht vs 500 baht....etc etc all for the same exact medicines. I eventually found my "go-to" pharmacy for most meds, or at least try them first. they are usually half price of most other shops on most items. But even them, I'll shop around if it's a higher priced drug like Finerade. Best I could find on that drug here was 700 baht (I think) for 30 5mg pills. I forget exact price because I only buy every other month.
  2. Yep. feminists and the whole new woke movement of the past few years trying to de-masculate men and make them also take victim stance hated his sharing of basic, hardwired truths.
  3. Good, stable men thrown aside waiting for the rich good man, who won't accept the gals wanting to be the queen, the daughter, the king, the worshipped...without performing any of the duties that those positions require filled to reap the rewards they also bring.
  4. unfortunately, it's my cross to bear... in both money spent and in wondering when the balloon payment due from god will arrive to her figure lol. Good thing my meals are typically 100 baht ish except when we go out to actual restaurants. your numbers are correct. but that bottom 99% making 100,000 baht month is good for the girls here, plus whatever freelance work they opt for too.
  5. My girlfriend EATS about 25k a month easy in Pattaya area lol. Most of it street vendor and market food even. I"m not exagerating either.
  6. Mexico would have been much easier for me. I can speak it a little. It was just a few hour flight. Tropical. Cheap. Didn't lock down. Just much prefer the Asian culture to the Mexican culture. Personal preference, nothing else.
  7. ok. thank you. Will do now. The other place's water is of very bad quality. I'll PM you my number.
  8. Visa fees are not a deciding factor in visiting a country...however, places like thailand are often looked at because of how little comparably the accommodations are to go. So if they want people to come, don't raise hotel prices to prices of other countries. If so, they more likely go to the better infrastructured places with less hassle at immigration.
  9. Wise can take seconds to a few hours usually. Never had next day (that I know of since I'm sending money to others). I use remitly also as an alternative. Has both pro's and cons to Wise. TWO PRO's is that usually the money is sent in seconds, and they require much less info to send. One CON is they are much more limited by countries they will send money FROM. also less chance to CANCEL a send. here's the link to them. http://remit.ly/eemzvx **I prefer Wise as first option. But have zero problems with using Remitly instead when I need to.
  10. I don't think they are lousy. Although could really use LIVE chat
  11. Hoping to find an agency or attorney, or whomever who can help a Cambodian get a passport in their own name. They will need to be able to delete/erase? current passport which is under a family members name instead of their own. (I actually don't have a clue what will be needed to get done to rectify it). ***>>>They were brought here as a minor but put under another person's name on their current passport... to make them eligible to work in Thailand by the family when they were still underage. This of course creates many problems for an adult now, including insurance, flights, etc. Also, they are not going to throw their family under the bus either to fix their passport either.Any suggestions are welcome so that they can be completely compliant and move forward in life here in thailand.Thank you
  12. Going to Cambodia would be fine. But the issue is more about them being under a different person's name than their own. (you can't blame a 13 year old for what family makes them do). I'm at a total loss on where to start searching for solutions for a fix (that doesn't involve getting the family in hot water). This being Cambodia, I'm sure there is an agent somewhere with connections that could clean it up and put everything in it's proper place as it should be.

  14. know what you want...or talk to (I think) the oldest brother. But even then take things with a grain of salt. Everyone's body is different. Some can feel like they took aspirin and coffee by the next day and feeling more energetic.
  15. Talk to the oldest brother though. The sis doesn't know any thing even their own stock typically (at least about the topic in here)
  16. Sent you PM with a question if you don't mind.
  17. I found many fB listings all wanted one year lease when I was hunting.
  18. I've had every deposit returned so far. I take that back...One tried to get me for a ruined rug that had cat hair on it, wanting 3000 baht. Took 2 minutes to vacuum off when I went over . Plus I had already paid a "final cleaning fee'. and even pre empted that with another cleaner coming in before hand and cleaning the place before their cleaners got there because I knew what the owner was like.
  19. where exactly? I need a 2nd space as office
  20. tell her to move. Plenty of other spots NOT charging that for so little a space. And, no excuse for that. Demand is not that high. So sounds like wishful thinking or a bluff by landlord. I ahve 65 s/m for 13. Not best deal, but good enough.
