@Sheryl I was told you might have a short list?
-
Memorials urologist isn't new. Might be too OLD actually ha. 45 years experience I read. Sometimes they don't keep up to date enough with what's currently available and having success.
-
In another post someone said chase the doctor instead of ask about hospitals... so. Has anyone been happy with a urologist they've seen in Pattaya area? Thank you
-
wait. you were on cordaxa and finasteride...then took Norfloxstar 1 week out of the month for 3 months and then your bladder/prostate problem was gone?
-
So go to any hospital, get the prognosis, then hunt for doctor? I need to find a Urologist if you got that in your files. May have to make a seperate post actually.
-
Thank you. Yes, I've also used them for a broken bone. I have no real complaints. But I don't have many comparisons though. Only other hospital visits were at the Soi Buakhao which had lengthy waits everyday since governemnt. But Proximity is huge benefit if I have to go 4-5 days in a row.

Is there a big difference in 2022? Memorial is 7 minutes away and Queen Sirikit Hospital is over 50 minutes away but a local doc was talking them up. I think Memorial is much faster service when there, as QSH is government? And This is more check up phase. (Urologist) But I'm afraid I may have to go 4 or 5 days in a row for specific treatment. Which would mean I'm also I'm trying to gather if the price and treatment is that much better (if any) there, because without blinking I'm spending 10 hours on a bike over 5 days (plus extended waiting room time) and I have obligations to fulfill that that that kind of time loss would also equate to loss of money. Besides this doctor, I've never heard anything about QSH at all. so I don't even know if they are cheaper or better. Opinions? or dealings with either Hospital?

overstays are not the 'crimes' that concern tourists and residents nor do they even care one iota. Theft, scams, overpricing, hacking, burglary, assaults, taxi mafia would make the list though.

Fact or fallacy? Agencies providing retirement "financial services" are acting as a "bank" to provide loans to retirees to have the correct amount of funds in thai bank (at loan shark rates which is also legal here) making the whole process legal. I read this the other day that this is the loophole that allows them to operate. I've done zero research on it, but does sound plausible.

Phuket Immigration announces results of their recent overstay crackdown

ah, but they nailed 117 for not listing accomodations correctly (yet only 8 landlord/hotels fined) plus 15 for Ed and volunteer visas sold by their buddies (no agents fined). -
Phuket tourism operators struggle to fill 17,000 job vacancies

I heard somewhere else that locals just plain can't afford to live there any more. Too much has been bought up and priced everything outside what they earn. -
Inventive suggestion, but it doesn't solve anything unless there are multiple stops along the way. No one wants to go from Walking street to just Na Klua. This also would create parking jams at these I'd guess as you have to get to it's launch point with a vehicle as well. It's interesting if you could get off every 1000 meters or so but I don't think that's how it can be made to operate.

They used to show me hwat I wanted to find out, and show me real answers to questions I'd ask. Now they show me what they want me to believe. RE: images and videos. I remember when you could request a scene from a movie or show and if you described it even ok you would get the exact clip. Same with images. Now you get zip and a bunch of stock photos. Like it became "dumb" or doesn't have the 'tech" to find it suddenly. Such a shame. It was fantastic while it lasted.
-
Yes. For information on local businesses, hours, location, reviews, directions, etc. Google can't be beat with this and I still trust what they show me for local. Not a lot to lie about. Unlike topics now where they are brainwashing the next generation with links to articles such as "yes. men can have babies" if you would ask "Can men have babies?" and a whole bunch of other BS that has erupted since teh pandemic. World gone mad.

Biden should acknowledge Thailand’s roll in capturing Viktor Bout
Dart12 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Biden is the kid you wanted to trade baseball cards with when you were young. You could talk him into giving you his Mickey Mantle rookie card for 3 sticks of gum and he'd brag to his young siblings how he totally won the deal even though he's too stupid to realize he got fleeced. -

curious, what were the cost of each tyre now and before? -
Wise is doing this more and more. Usually if you try and transfer on a weekend or a holiday... they will NOT pre warn you. the message will still say transfer in just seconds. Then AFTER you complete, they will maybe tell you something else. I've been told 3-4 days sometimes. When this happens, OR if I KNOW I need an IMMEDIATE transfer I use remitly instead. They are always instant. I start with Wise usually because the rate means I'll usually get a 1000 or two extra bot transfered into my account. Sometimes its NO difference after fees. --I always check exactly what I'll get first. So, if speed of transfer doesn't mean anything, wise usually still best. If you need the money now, use Remitly. https://remit.ly/115ga6kz

Private sector against Pheu Thai’s 600-baht minimum wage proposal

it does not matter. Raise the wages, the businesses just pass that cost back onto the buyers. The businesses will never eat it. See McDonald's food prices now. Just another form of inflation. -
I think it's perfectly appropriate for these 2500 baht festive meals. However I do find it a bit appalling that they don't include a set of beverages along with that price. Granted, can't be open bar on everyything, but include SOMETHING!

@ op. Central Festival mall is Christmasy inside with many decorations and Christmas music playing. Soi Boukhoa will have many many santas' helpers in costume that day too lol. if you have money, Royal Cliff Resorts is absolutely beautiful inside, high class affair with scenic views and a selection of different quality restaurants. https://www.royalcliff.com/whatsnew/

Nobody is taking away your option. I personally haven't seen an event worth what they want either. But they are there if someone does. It's great to have options.
