  1. an example of defamation laws working against everyone. This bank needs to be outted.
  2. Is the witholding your ID and/or motorbike keys until you return with proof of violation payment receipt allowed? or can you tell them to bug off, just give me my ticket and I'll be on my way? Pattaya police like to do the above move.
  3. don't know. Living near central I don't feel like theres a huge amount of tourists compared to pre covid... But I went in the morning on a thursday and the line was almost out of the lot. I then phoned my agent and went home. Not waiting 4 or 5 hours (or more if have to wait thru lunch too).
  4. would you mind elaborating on this scenario of why or what changed or what was correct prognosis? and I assume NorfloxStar is Norfloxacin mispelled? (at least what google is telling me)
  5. I went thru Ban Laem and have what some IO's make into issues but got thru fine. But I used an agent who made my process seemless and VIP-like. **he also knew which border would be issue and which wouldn't. Priceless knowledge for the feeling of confidence things will go smoothly and be no issues.
  6. @jimmiejackson does he have any community with good affiliation back home in USA? church? school? clubs? or even a large contact list of friends and family?
  7. that's normal for any country for their citizens for re-entry. It's not really discrimination when universal. However, all the requirements to now get into Thailand ARE pretty blatant discrimination to rest of world to suck on China teets. Nobody meets any of these requirements anymore EXCEPT for the people living in the stone age of China policy that have been mandated to keep re-filling the human body poison. Also a total joke as even Pfizer has come out and had to openly admit it doesn't prevent transmission. No efficacy has been discovered. And even the establishment now advertises it as just cold like symptoms (but still promote getting boosters of course). There is no purpose for any of this save the ability to manufacture tyranical control at the snap of a finger (for all countries save a very few).
  8. Tastes. Some people love it. It can be annoying for sure. There are definitely audiophiles that it's an art for them. I find it more Little Richard syndrome though (in this day and age of tech) with loud engines and mufflers on cars and bikes. Yes, once upon a time big muscle necessitated big noise, but that's no longer the case. so now it's just for "look at me, pleeeeeaaaasse"
  9. Feedback so far is great facilities and modern equipment and great pricing, but also long waits (especially first time) and to take a translator as few speak English. (and also pretty far for multiple visits)
  10. Yes, sorry, in the morning I was typing this out in many replies. Queen Hospital in Sirikit was the one I was referring to and asking about if someone had any experience to share. I'm getting the impression is that I go to first, almost any first close proximity hospital and get a general idea of issues and then seek out the specialist I would prefer. Unless I'm unable to google it, when I search Bangkok Hosptital Jomtien I only find "Jomtien Hospital". Absolutely nothing showing BKK in it. is JH actually Bangkok Jomtien Hospital? I did contact JH and they do not have a urologist at all. Thanks for the med purchase advice too
  11. You are last on the agent's priority list. Herself first. She may be borrowing funds from you to cover other expenses knowing she'll get money back and EVENTUALLY take care of you. My last agent after doing 3 visas successfully went MIA for a month like this before popping back up with everything ok. What should have been 3 days was 30 to get my passport back. But she avoided my calls and texts for almost 10 days PAST my date. I had no idea if I was legal or not. She also Caused me to miss my License test (which was I had waited a and planned out over a month after I should have gotten passport back. Caushing me to have to go to DLT 2 more times and re-purchase all my certs to take there again. It was all very stressful. So I know how you feel. I hope it all works out soon for you.
  12. Heard goodthings about BKK Jomtien? I have Not heard any good or bad about them personally. Only usually that BKK pattaya is outrageously priced.
  13. Thank you so much. Have you Heard anything about the queens hospital or BKK Jomtien hospitals as well?
  14. Nothing yet. Just doing check up and minor concerns. But might as well start on path with one facility and doctor. Thank you for your advice and help as always ????
  15. thank you. I think I'm gonna start initially at Memorial from feedback so far
  16. I didn't put in Health since I am looking local. But thank you. However, I thought it was consensus to stay AWAY from BKK Pattaya?
  17. @Sheryl I was told you might have a short list?
  18. Memorials urologist isn't new. Might be too OLD actually ha. 45 years experience I read. Sometimes they don't keep up to date enough with what's currently available and having success.
  19. In another post someone said chase the doctor instead of ask about hospitals... so. Has anyone been happy with a urologist they've seen in Pattaya area? Thank you
  20. wait. you were on cordaxa and finasteride...then took Norfloxstar 1 week out of the month for 3 months and then your bladder/prostate problem was gone?
  21. So go to any hospital, get the prognosis, then hunt for doctor? I need to find a Urologist if you got that in your files. May have to make a seperate post actually.
  22. Thank you. Yes, I've also used them for a broken bone. I have no real complaints. But I don't have many comparisons though. Only other hospital visits were at the Soi Buakhao which had lengthy waits everyday since governemnt. But Proximity is huge benefit if I have to go 4-5 days in a row.
