@ OP. getting CC's is seems near impossible. I've successfully gotten ONE out of 6 sent by my banks. #1 Solution: Go get yourself a thai bank account immediately. Bangkok bank has the least hoops to do, basically just a residency cert. Or pay an agent $100 to set on up where ever you want. Getting money transferred from wise and remitly is a godsend for lack of high fees. Also kills all the $20 ATM fees I was paying with my USA debit card after both sides extracted their blood. But the bank apps are great and even all the street vendors take payment this way. Oddly...only 7-11 doesn't , but you can use rabbit pay WITHIN the app. Don't concern yourself with that at this time. #2 Short term solution: Send yourself money thru remitly to a local bank: https://remit.ly/115ga6kz that is a referal link. You and I both get $20 in you use it to send yourself $100 or more first time. Exchange rate is very competitive, only a $1 fee. #3 I just found this out and now have all my cards in it in case I need to use them locally: get your Credit card/ debit card number from someone at home. You can then input them into your apple wallet (Google has Google Pay, I believe). You do not need your physical card. You just put this in your phone and it's easier than using the bank app even. **however, unless you using an international card, many banks will charge you upto 3% international fee on top of whatever you purchased. <deleted> thieves. Pattaya to Cambodia run is 3000 which includes the immigration fees. nit sure how cramped or uncomfortable the ride. but another agent does them for few thousand more where you share a car instead of van/ bus

To be honest, I've had mine for 10 years or so and I'm not sure of the exact process anymore. But more than likely yeah you'd have to trust someone with passwords to do it for you. **what vpn did you use? Some are just plain overused and get warnings in their own right when you use them. I mean, the sites, etc know you are on a vpn when using that vpn.

Data collection is happening all around you on every device now 24/7. Where you go Where you've been. What you've been messaging about is even open to the platform owners data collection and censorship. All those TOS that you agree to to use the phone and app you agree to let it happen. There is no newsbreaking story to write about when it's in TOS you agree to. All this info is bought and sold in the open market daily. Hardly a conspiracy or secret. Sorry to disappoint you.

UPDATE: My vet recommended /menitons WAT Nong Yai in Pattaya. Said she had another customer have their pet cremated for 500 baht. we called them, and they hung up before we could get any questions answered. Had the vet call them back and she said they said to just show up and tell them what you want and they'll take care of it. We got there and they were all a little confused. However, they were completely willing to throw her into a dumpster furnace and burn her up. Obviously this is not what we were expecting or wanting. So I bit the bullet and we took the long taxi to to Thai Pet Care as we knew exactly what we could expect upon showing up. They were very nice, gave us time to say goodbye, said a little prayer. We also had the option of adding a monk to say a prayer for an additional 1000 to 1500. (price we paid was 2300 for what we did). They are delivering the ashes to us in an urn for a small fee of 200 baht extra today so we don't have to make 2 trips. They will also pick up your pet from your home or vet if you do not want to participate in any of the cremation. Was it the Sistine Chapel? no. But it was nice enough as a nice goodbye to a beloved family member instead of just dropping her off in a box at the vet.

Most services accept a voip number. Sign up for google voice and get a number. I use it for 95% of everything for these types of two steps. Occassionally you get a bank that will ONLY allow a "real" number. Those are a PITA because typically you don't want to give up your real number tied to say apple, but you also aren't using it or can't while here. In that case I park my main number at numberbarn and get my texts to it there. but getting a free voip number from google is gonna be your best and easiest choice. Then it gets sent to your phone and computer and where ever else you want it. I actually use it as my way to call people in the usa still from thailand, if they are older and do not have any of the 50 messenger apps out there like my father.

these are only annoying when they require a 'real' number and will not accept a VOIP. these are done for your protection, not annoyance. However Google is a complete invansive company where teh cEO says you do not deserve privacy and need their overwatch on you. As does FB, Twitter, TikTok, IG, Amazon, and more. Your cell phone now is an actual spy device against you with the microphone on at all time recording you (yes, this is real). We actually pay for and install the government and tech to spy on us for our little convenniences in life.

After reading this and all the online lawyers here who are also grand-standng on their countries' holier than thou (supposed laws) and righteousness against Thai culture, I was curious what the legal ages are in the USA right now as a comparison. No, it's not 18 as a standard. Close to half of the States in US allow for fully consenting age to be 16. No loopholes needed. Then, as you menition, add in marriage, and many states go down to the age of 13 as allowable, and 3-5 actually go down to 10 years old!!! That shocked me. I can't believe that some of these laws haven't been updated to more modern sensibilities yet. Yet, to my dissappointment, you now have the woke culture sitting there and propping up movies like "cuties" on netflix that is glorifying the sexualization of girls 10 and 11 years old under the guise of "empowerment". This world has really gotten twisted since the pandemic.

You just repeated my opening statement. Thank you for agreeing with me that it's 100% wrong and immoral today. However, comparing the propogation of a species for survival due to the necessity of their biological expiration and the wholly unneccesarriness of canabolism and slavery which were choices to hurt other humans are not in the same galaxy, let alone ball park. Like trying to compare the creation of life to the stoning of someone to death as the same thing.
