2 days after the election:
" Director of the Office of National Buddhism (ONAB) has vowed to defrock anti-government monk leader as soon as he is found guilty of violating the country's criminal laws.
...
Buddha Issara is the current de facto leader of PCAD′s rally site on Chaeng Wattana Road, where the protesters have been besieging the Government Complex for weeks. He was also allegedly in charge of armed PCAD guards when they clashed with pro-government supporters at Laksi district on Saturday.
...
Mr. Nopparat added that the Abbot Council has concluded that Buddha Issara had violated the regulation of the Sangha Supreme Council by engaging in political protests and inciting people into violence."

the article states, that the scaffolding was erected within last few weeks, which falls under the military rule and not the previous government. Is it possible these 2 brothers moved 100 million baht out of their warehouse and built the scaffold etc all alone, with nobody seeing them? No, it is not possible. This is just part of a much larger, organized scam. There will be a link proven to a PTP/redshirt bigwig, just wait and see. If I had to guess which Shin acolyte will be linked to this scam I would say either the incendiary transport minister that was owning a transport company, or perhaps the widebody jet buying abseiler?
this case was already reported before, just arrests came now.
and here on their accomplices, actually they were army officers:
http://www.nationmultimedia.com/politics/Army-staff-implicated-in-missing-rice-30238527.html
"A Staff Judge Advocate on Tuesday brought a private and an army Sergeant to surrender to police for their alleged involvement in the case of 90,000 sacks of rice under the rice-pledging scheme that went missing from a granary in Pathum Thani province.
An inspection team set up by the military junta to inspect rice under pledging scheme inspected the Phoenix Argritech granary in Muang district recently and found that 90,000 sacks of rice had disappeared. A complaint was filed with police." -

ow, this custom clump up for the last month on luxury goods smuggled into the country is hurting the hi-so.
so lets come up with a clever idea of duty free luxury items ion high streets, no need to travel abroad and waste money on airfare.
as the junta, and the new government, is created by, and in the interest, of hi-so, sure, they will have it. That's, what they have shutdown bangkok- 1

remember popcorn shooter? he was send send with a machine gun by budha issara to shoot in a broad light in the centre of Laksi at unarmed protesters, who were trying to free ballot papers for a general election. Suthep admitted that he was one of them, and he was later arrested at a house of a democrat party MParrest warrants are for him, suthep and tens of others since the last year. Yet non of them got arrested. They are going scott free, laughing at democracy
Are you one of the guys, just like prbkk, that claimed earlier that the monk was responsible for all the violence surrounding the protests?
Must be because i never see you on threats concerning the capture of red shirts (after Yingluck, Chalerm and Tharit where kicked out) in relation to grenade throwing etc. .

the fine for not reporting by the landlord is up to 2k baht. There is no penalty for the travelling foreigner. Might as well ignore the whole circus and once in a long time pay a few hundred fine.

So exactly 3 years after the offence somobody lodges a complain in a serious offence together with an evidence. Nobody does nothing about it for over 6 months untill general somyot wakes up claiming, that he was scared of an elected government. It's all smoke and screen, trying to cover the fact, that apiwan did not say anything against lesse majeste. It's suthep and aphisit who are charged with the killings, they are not royalsThe cąses of LM are prosecuted on the spot or fairly quickly, within days of being commited.
This case might indicate, that's the charges might be trumped up, fabricated and wouldn't hold up
On 29 January, a person filed a lèse majesté complaint with the police, accusing Apiwan of giving lèse majesté speeches on 29 January 2011 at a red-shirt rally in the lower northern province
http://www.prachatai.com/english/node/4243
Deputy National Police chief Pol General Somyot Poompanmoung said yesterday that the authorities had evidence in the form of an audio recording of Apiwan's speech on January 29, 2011, in Phetchaburi province.
The complaint against Apiwan had not been lodged earlier for fear of the elected Pheu Thai-led government's power, he said.

If you are trying to compare the usa to thailand, you should read the UN, ngo's, human and workers rights organisations and even thai official reports on near slavery conditions, inhuman conditions and killings of foreign workers in thailand. With boats full of burmese being pushed back into the sea by the military, without any water and food for a near certain death

No, it's just a hatred of injustice and shutting the free speach

Those 50k already registered are only a very small part of an estimated 1.5mln of foreigners working in thailand. And it's the whole country, with the border areas the most affected, and not only bangkok and close around, which are being show cased to diplomats and media

In january 2011 it was still abhisit and suthep running the country, the winning elections for the reds was later on, in april. So they had a chance to prosecute. Also it's already over 2 months after the coup. The cąses of LM are prosecuted on the spot or fairly quickly, within days of being commited.
This case might indicate, that's the charges might be trumped up, fabricated and wouldn't hold up in a civilian court. The court martial, under which he now will be prosecuted is completely a different matter, with closed doors and no right to appeal. Also a gagged up press won't be able to report his defence, as it would breach the law

Mh17 tragedy might have been the fate of any other airplane flying through that area. Only a very few airlines, including quantas and british, changed their routes before the shooting. So psychological effect towards malaysian airlines will be small and not lasting.
Much bigger effect on air travel, malaysian airlines and KL airport is disappearance of mh370, because technical failure, pilot's mistake, security breach at KL etc can't be excluded. There was also thai involment in this disappearance as utapao has received an sos signal as the first and cover up by thai military data from radars in the south showing the flight's path to melacca straith nd andaman. For sure there was a gross failure by all local governments in a reseach mission. There would be a deep and long lasting effect on airtravel not only in se region, but the whole asia.
Life is cheap here, saving face and corruption are everything

Three and half years after the alleged lese majeste, the most strictly enforced law in thailand, made during a public speach, is no more than a political vendetta on a high rank elected politician by self-appointed new rulers. Where this reconciliation and happiness will end up?

Surly the stand up comedians around the world, including john oliver's "Last week tonight" programm, will pick up on this and land themselves on a thai emigration black list or to be extradited to thailand. Now, that would be funny, again, after international media got hold of a junta's leaked documents

what's wrong with beach chairs, umbrellas, cold drinks and snacks being served, if they are not overpriced and reasonable quality? People making living of the tourists there are not mafia
the biggest problem of pattaya beach is poor quality of water, with an urban waste being pumped without being treated strait into the sea for the last 40 years. A more difficult task, than kicking out traders- 11

so force it on them with a military coup, martial law, censorship, closing thousands of websites, forcing people to exile, sending soldiers and cops to intimidate public. There won't be democracy, just eternal love and happiness

you have twisted words of the permanent secretary
-
I have been to hua hin beach many times and find it very plaesant.
I don't mind vendors offering their services and goods, on condition the prices are reasonable. Anywhere in the seaside Igave been using them.
what would be a beach without umbrellas, tables, foods and drinks offered on the spot? So now tourists would have to buy their own and carry them from the guest houses everyday?
The last august, the very end of it, the beaches and the whole hua hin was deserted, no tourists. I would think this year would bem even worse.

low quality doesn't mean bad. Same like with vegetables or fruits, low quality doesn't mean, that they can't be eaten or processed.Once again we see bad rice discovered this time in Nakhon Sawan, deemed to be so serious that the warehouses are to be sealed, presumably pending farther investigation.
